Love this place! I was supposed to be meeting a friend who had to cancel at the last minute. I decided to have breakfast anyway, since I had never been there. I had an omelet and french toast. The food was delicious! My server was constantly checking on me but not too much. Just enough to make sure I wasn't in need of anything. I love the rustic look of the inside inside of the place. Super busy place. Food was ok. I ordered the trifecta w 2 eggs, 1 sausage link and a pancake. I thought it would have 2 links but nope. The pancake was huge. I just got my breakfast when I started itching and sneezing. I have a horrible pet allergy so I immediately started looking around. Turns out pets are ok to bring into a restaurant. There were people eating outside and they could've been sat there but no. Let's bring our pets everywhere we go. No shade to those folks who have pets but be aware that not everyone lives your pets like you do. Thanks to these folks I couldn't eat my breakfast and had to use an epi pen. read more

Went to this location today. In the past I have really enjoyed the food and service... Today's visit was subpar. I never got the autumn drink that I ordered and that pumpkin pancake was tasteless. It was so bland!. I make better pumpkin pancakes with my Trader Joe's pumpkin pancake mix. I didn't even eat the pancake. Waited a long time for table even with call ahead. But that was ok. Took long time to put order in and even longer time get meals. Waitress was rude 2 of our 3 meals arrived and after almost 10 minutes , waitress when asked about 3d meal responded that it would be soon. How hard is an omelette to make and serve? Another 8 minutes pass and it arrives- it's not hot, merely warm to the touch- so where was it sitting until it was served. Waitress attempted to remove plates before we were done. At one point she asked hows everything? And answered it herself a second later saying wonderful. It was anything but!!! I have to start by saying First Watch is one of our favorite breakfast restaurants. We discovered First Watch in GA many years ago and started searching for them as we traveled from coast to coast. Overall, we have had anywhere from exceptional to average quality but never bad food or bad service. So this is a first for me - but it must be said - this was the worst experience ever at a First Watch. I ordered the Farmhouse Hash, which is my personal favorite. I love the onions and tomatoes layered over the top of the seasoned potatoes. Toss a couple of scrambled eggs and some fresh avocado and I'm a happy camper. This is the first and only time my potatoes were so undercooked they had the taste of raw potatoes. The onions, tomatoes and cheese tasted as if it had been scraped from the bottom of a pan and had congealed into one piece. The avocado slices had brown spots. My husbands meal was even worse. He got the smoked salmon Benedict and we were shocked when he cut into hard boiled eggs. The server replaced the eggs but left the food at the table getting cold as we waited. By the time she returned, the sauce was separating so we asked for more which she replaced without hesitation. The food was so bad had it been our first time we would never cross the threshold ianother First Watch. The only good thing that happened this day was good coffee and a kind server who tried her best with that the kitchen gave her. read more

Came into First Watch with my grandmother after she told me it is her favorite breakfast place. We checked in, provided our phone number and stood on the side, to wait until our name was called. After 40 minutes of waiting, we realized two tables had been sat before us. When we checked in with the hostess, she was insincere, unapologetic and told us to give her a minute and she would seat us at a table (which she pointed to). We stepped back and watched the table get cleaned... only to see another hostess seating someone at our table! At this point, my grandma had no desire to eat here. I understand that breakfast/brunch places are busy on the weekends. This place has got to figure out a different plan of action. I've tried to eat here 3 times and each time I'm given a wait times that turns into double what they quote and I end up leaving. Today, I actually made it to the table only to hear that the kitchen was on an hour and half wait time..... they act like they don't know that people will be coming. Eventually you have to stop putting names on the list and just let the kitchen and staff catch up. This is absurd and I watched 2 tables get up and leave before they got food. This cost the wait staff $$ too as they have spend the last hour making excuses for no food only for the table to leave and not leave a tip. I would love to try this place sometime. read more

This is my second time here. It is a nice place to eat ,very pleasant and good ambiance . Tried this place for the first time. Nice casual atmosphere and great menu. It has potential but they've GOT to get better cooks. I had the avocado toast that was supposed to come with eggs over easy, so that you can have the yolk run into the toast, and the eggs were way overdone with little to no runny yolk. My fiancé got the biscuits and gravy and they were barely warm when they arrived at the table. They corrected the cold sausage and gravy biscuits by making a whole new order which took to go at that point. Hey Yelp Friends! This morning I had the pleasure of eating First Watch with my best friend for breakfast. I wanted to keep it super light and not get anything heavy & First Watch has a great variety when it comes to breakfast or brunch. I tried the Farm Stand Breakfast Tacos w/ no chorizo and a morning meditation to make it complete. I love the morning meditation! I pretty much get it every time I come, I was never a fan of beets but this drink just makes me love them juiced. The tacos were pretty good as well and I would definitely try them again. We got our food take-out and ate a nearby park and the wait was not too long for a Sunday morning so I was thankful for that. But overall, good food and good take-out experience. Had my first experience at this particular first watch 2 weekends ago. I've really only been to the location in Virginia, so it was nice to see there is a first watch in my new city. The wait time was pretty long. Even thirty minutes longer then the expected wait time after signing up on the wait list for a party of 6. Our waitress was pretty good. I love the food at first watch but from previous experience I'm not a fan of their eggs but decided to try again since it was a different location, so I ordered an omelet this time. It was actual pretty darn tasty. They have the best potatoes and that granola crunch pancake is like nothing else in the world. My only issue and still to this day (even at a different location) is they bring food out separately. You don't get everything together. For example, most received our potatoes first. Then a few received our meals. One of the girls who got her potatoes first received her actual plate about 12 minutes later. I mean I like to eat my food together. My pancake came a little after my other food as well. I just wish everything came at the same time. The timing is always all wrong. But other then that fresh hot great tasting food. read more

The place is a little trendy, not your typical egg and bacon place unless you want fancy difficult to pronounce lettuce and tomato's added to your meal. Also, this is the only location that doesn't take carry out orders on their app, nor do they answer their phone to even take orders. After an additional 15 minutes we found out we were bumped to 5 and it would be a two hour wait. When asking how we got bumped and why was their bi communication, staff was very defensive. They said the kitchen needed to "catch up." Restaurant was half seated at this point. A women left and told us her age her daughter have been waiting an hour for food. This is unacceptable. By far the Worst experience I've ever had dining. Over crowded, the table next to us had a child sitting on the end of the table and their chair was touching our table. We noticed one of the customers next to us in a party of 3 never got his food. The server wasn't ready to take our order when we were ready. After ordering we waited an hour for food. My wife's hash plate came out first and was cold. Took a while for the server to return. Then a different server comes with the side of Burnt Billion Dollar Bacon... then told me it's not burnt it's cooked well done ... lol Once the original server returned we notified her of the cold plate. Then we asked about my plate, server said she would check..... 10 mins later a hot plate of new hash came out... my food still nowhere to be found. Server said they would comp something.... 10 mins later I spoke with the manager who said they would make my food To go. Another 10 mins later some other lady comes to the table and says "everything is taken care of y'all can leave whenever". Very confusing, very disappointed. We will NOT be returning. read more

This place rarely disappoints, the menu is very broad and they have many vegetarian options. The in house juices are amazing. The orange/beet one has been my favorite. I love the farmhouse tacos, but the skillet hash or veggie melt is probably my favorite. They have the best home style potatoes in town. Last time I went I got the cheesy grits, really good too! The staff are friendly but the place is extremely busy and you can't make a reservation sometimes the waiter/ress can loose track of your table if they are overstated but it is worth the wait.
