I have mixed feelings of this place. 2/3 times have been great. I love the lunch special and think it's a great value. Management could be better and I'm not sure there is one on duty. Some of the staff have been amazing, but there's a busser in there that is absolutely clueless. Whenever he works, the place runs slowly and everyone seems frustrated. The last time I was there, the food took about an hour. From a management standpoint, they should not seat people when the kitchen gets backed up. No manager came and apologized or offered anything to negate our poor experience. I will be back, but i think I'll try the one in Hallendale next time. read more

I tend to try something different each time I come--with the exception of their chicken sausage, which may lead me to weep openly in sheer joy--and it's always fresh and delicious. I'm drinking a kale tonic, which would have made me gag just thinking about it before we found this place. And it's amazing! I love being able to sit down and know that genuine care was taken with the food they present and the environment that they cultivate, from the friendly employees to the health-conscious food options. (Or, you know, the compote you know you're going to slather on that waffle.) We make plans to come as often as we can. read more

I've ordered from First Watch a bunch of times in the past and decided to go dine-in this morning. It's astounding how they really have no clue what's going on when they take your name for a table. Put my name down, they said 5-10 minute wait. Kept going back to check on it after about 20 minutes, being very polite, and they kept saying "oh you're the next table don't worry." They showed me the tablet where they take reservations and my name kept getting bumped down the list every time I checked. They said they were "getting a lot of call-in reservations." Strange, wouldn't the call-ins that reserved a table after I did have to wait their turn? I thought it was odd but they said we would be called soon. So like a moron I kept waiting. The poor dumbasses taking the reservations couldn't figure out that the later call-ons go at the END of the list. Instead, every time someone new called in for a table, I got bumped further down. Being bored, I started paying attention to people arriving and putting down their names. I saw 3 parties of 2 people get seated before us, after arriving 20 minutes after us and putting their names in for the first time. It seemed very strange. Decided to go somewhere else after waiting 45 minutes and watching people show up after us and get seated. Wasn't worth the indefinite wait and not knowing if we'd even get served. Finally got a text that our table was ready after an HOUR AND A HALF. Luckily, I had already cut my losses and taken my business elsewhere. Here, in case anyone doesn't believe this, look at the photo I attached. Kathryn and Craig were running the front entrance, not only were they unapologetic, but they made absolutely no effort in attending to me. In fact, at one point I had get their attention so I could reorder (mind you, i was standing in front of them the entire time as they ignored my presence). Once I did reorder and payed, they said nothing to me, had no sense of urgency to help correct their mistake, didn't follow up with me or advise when it would be ready, offered no favors. NOTHING! They just pretended i wasn't there as I waited an additional 45 mins for food I ordered an hour earlier. then instead of one of them bringing my order personally, another server brought it out and again, they said nothing to me.. Kathryn's attitude was as if she hated life and Craig didn't know how to handle an unhappy customer (even though i was nothing but polite and patient). If you go on the weekend; the wait time to be seated is fairly fast and efficient if you check in beforehand this way you're on the waiting list and it tells you your estimated wait time. I'm a really big fan of First Watch, but I couldn't help But to feel disappointed with the breakfast I received from this location... the Eggs Benedict were sub-par today, almost dry and the bread was really tough to eat ..My friend wasn't a big fan of her breakfast neither - eggs were hard, undercooked bacon. For $33, it wasn't worth the money spent.
