We've come here a few times and always get really good food. Today my moms eggs were not cooked the way she ordered. Waitress Cecelia brought them back and they tried to make them the right way (over well) but we're having a lot of trouble. We visit this restaurant often, usually for breakfast. Their specials are unique and different and change seasonally. The menu has quite a few options for everyone. They will also customize whatever it is you'd like for breakfast. Staff is always friendly. Restaurant is clean and bright. For breakfast it can be quite expensive, especially if you're going with quite a few people. A breakfast for two typically cost us about $35, including tip. I would certainly not hesitate in recommending this place if you want a good breakfast. One tip is that I would avoid weekends because they are mobbed for breakfast and brunch. read more

Ive never been to a First Watch restaurant before until today, but I will definitely be coming back. The girls at the front door were amazing. Their customer service was fantastic as well. It was very busy and I was still greeted, sat, and served in a timely manner. My waitress was very friendly, and very helpful in my food selection when asked for an opinion on what to try. Came to this First Watch for breakfast on Sunday for the first time hoping to skip the busy wait at the one on Saint Andrews in Boca. Unfortunately, there was a wait (quoted 10-20 minutes), which was fine. A few parties of six walk in, two of which were seated almost immediately in a booth with chairs on the end. We began to notice a lot of people who had come in after us were being sat with parties of 2-4. After almost 45 minutes, we finally went to the hostess to explain how long we'd been waiting, and she explained that a booth was being cleaned. The booth sat dirty for another 10 minutes, as the hostess walked around and the other host took names. There was plenty of time for her to help bus the table. A smaller table that could have sat 3 opens up while we're waiting for the booth to be cleaned and a party of 2 that had came in much after us (and another party of 2 we had befriended outside after waiting) were sat immediately. Finally the booth was cleaned, and we were sat. It took 5 minutes for our server to greet us, and another 15 to get our drinks. She then brought out a nearly empty urn of coffee and never refilled it, nor was the water refilled. Our food came out about 30 minutes after our drinks (we're now at an almost two hour ordeal for breakfast!), and the bacon was so burnt, it was as if it was forgotten about. The eggs came out wrong, and the pancakes were slightly burnt as well. Our server had entirely disappeared after the runners brought our food, and we had to wait quite a while for the bill/to be checked on. All in all, I won't be returning to this First Watch location, hosting was awful, food and service was mediocre, and there wasn't a manager in sight. It doesn't even have a Pokestop. read more

When she got home I was excited and ready for them only to discover when I was about to eat that there was a hair between two of the pancakes. I actually put off writing this review because the experience was so bad! I wish this place was good bc it's so close to our home! We went with family who had travelled from out of state. It took a RIDICULOUS AMOUNT OF TIME to get ANYTHING! The service is so so so so slow, and the food really isn't very good at all. I'm not one for giving such bad reviews, but I find myself questioning why anyone even goes there. Food is often burnt, the coffee is terrible (and gave me heartburn), and the pancakes are dry/burnt. Ok here we go .... I just found this place and wish I had tried it sooner. The have the best chopped chicken salad with fresh avocado. The wait staff remembers you by name and is always friendly and looking to may you experience great. I like the salads but my wife gets the breakfast and loves it. Eat here all the time. Great service and friendly staff. The menu changes seasonally with new specials. Love the vegetarian selection. They are very accommodating when I want to substitute any ingredients. You can also make your own menu requests if you don't see what you want in their printed menu. First visit to First Watch. I was afraid to give it a 5 star because it will end up too busy to get in!!! I had the lemon ricotta pancakes and loved them. Fresh strawberries on top! Yum. They leave a pot of coffee on the table and a container of water. Busy....too busy so it takes patience. Server forgot my request but I could see how busy she was. Had to forgive and move on! Didn't subtract from the awesome menu. Hope I get a seat next time because we are going back.....again and again. Hope the food is consistent. Will let you know. We ordered quick and thought we would be out quick, but 30 mins later still no update or sight of the server to let us know where our simple "traditional" breakfast and French toast was at. When I stop at the counter to pay for the small OJ, they actually took my money for it and said the New menu was the reason for the hold up BS because again I order normal items that have always been on the menu. Sunday brunch very busy, Service was a little slow, but I wasn't in a hurry, so it was cool. Ordered the Tri fecta, 2 eggs over medium, 1 carrot cake pancake and turkey sausage, Eggs were perfect, pancake was lacking in flavor, but not awful. This is my favorite breakfast place! Always consistently good food and great service. It has been my go to breakfast place for a few years now and yesterday reconfirmed how great of a place it is. I just found out I'm pregnant a couple of weeks ago and am still getting used to the food restrictions. I ordered my usual- the morning market veg omelet - and after a few bites I realized/remembered it has goat cheese in it. Goat cheese is a on the "do not eat" list. I immediately broke into an uncontrollable sob feeling so guilty for eating goat cheese and also a little sad that I wouldn't be able to enjoy my favorite breakfast item for a while. The server was super great. She quickly put in an order for a different breakfast and brought us a box as we said we would just take the omelet to go for my husband. As we were in line to pay the manager came over and offered to comp the meal. I explained it was totally my fault and thanked him but said we would pay for it. He comped it anyway. 5 stars go to Scott, our server, & Chris, the manager. Only 4 stars in total due to the food mishaps. I hosted a brunch on Saturday, January 14, 2017 for 5 ladies at the Deerfield Beach location. It did take a while to get a table for 6. But once we were seated, Scott was attentive & caring. He took our food orders correctly, but unfortunately the kitchen staff did otherwise. So 4 out of 6 meals were messed up. Of course that put a damper on this get-together. I asked to speak with the manager & along came Chris who was embarrassed about the situation. Thus, he was very accommodating. He made sure our 4 meals were made fresh & corrected. Chris stayed by our side with constant updates as to when our freshly made food was coming out. He was sympathetic to our situation. He even comped all 6 of our meals, without us asking. Scott was checking on us as well and was very apologetic. The 5-star customer service that Scott & Chris exhibited is just wonderful. Both of them rectified the situation whole-heartedly. Even though the food orders were messed up, I will return to this location because Scott & Chris were so accommodating. So I do hope this review is relayed back to them as they get 2 thumbs in my book for genuine customer service!!! Thank you Scott & Chris. read more
