My spouse ordered Million Dollar (MD) Potatoes in a semi-creamy sauce and topped with a slice of MD bacon: tasty, he said. He ordered a large bowl of fruit as well and one egg over-easy. While the fruit was sweet, the yolk was hard and the egg was small. My green Chile Chorizo Omelet looked inviting on the plate, as it was topped with chilis and a dollop of sour cream, yet it arrived overcooked (dry) and in the shape of a spiral cinnamon roll. It came with a small ramekin of pico de gallo and an enormous amount of fresh greens with only a wee spray of dressing. Instead of regular toast, I asked for ciabatta bread and had to ask for a second piece because the first had been over-seasoned with salt. We've had better at this location. read more

WATCH THE PRICES AND YOUR RECEIPT!!!!! First complaint, the toddler's pancake was the last thing to be brought, after asking where it was. 4 adults received food before the child. NOT ok! Our holiday iced coffee came as a mix of both the holiday iced coffees and our waitress argued it was correct, took the coffees that were made wrong, and brought the right thing still insisting the first was correct. Nope! Our honey salted caramel is not mint!!! lol The food was really good which is the only reason they got any and they don't skimp on anything, except my runny whites coming out of my over-medium eggs was quite unpleasant. It definitely appeared several employees were on drugs of some sort based on their actions, whether prescription or not, it was obvious. They do not give a military discount, fyi. And last complaint but most important, check your receipt for prices!!! We got the 100% maple syrup, which on the menu was $1.59 extra for a 3oz bottle, on top of the $13 meal. We were ok with that because we don't like the maple flavored sugar water, but when I looked at the receipt, they charged $1.99 for each of the 3 bottles we received. I get it was only a $1.20, but that's not the point. I questioned it when checking out and was told that was because they were changing the menus and hadn't gotten them all out with the old prices. That's fine but you give the customer what they saw as the price. She did not! Just said, that takes time". I guess she thinks we are stupid and never worked in restaurants before. No maam! You correct the price for the customer and apologize for the confusion. You remove ALL old menus when new arrive! I didn't even check the rest of the prices because she clearly wasn't fixing it. I'm sure there was more raised prices on there. Instead, we just wont ever go back to a business you can't trust to not be overcharging from THEIR menu prices, and as always, I will leave reviews for others to be able to watch their check, IF they choose to go to the establishment. I don't usually do Google reviews, but this time, I'll do Google and Yelp! We will NOT go back to this location, for sure, if we decide to go to a First Watch in the future at all. Been to this specific location a couple times to get some brunch energy before enduring Costco, lol. Solid 3.75 or 4/5, somewhere in the middle I'd say! Our waitress was a bit overwhelmed due to having a few too many tables to deal with, but still managed to get the orders right and out in a decent amount of time. The food itself was pretty good, minus the pancake (been sitting too long). Will definitely be back, and am glad there are some breakfast spots still out there. So when I saw the Fall Harvest menu items I had to give it a try! (ps great indoor advertising the photos of the meals that actually made a difference in what I ordered) Let's start with the drinks. I loved the pomegranate pair punch which is pomegranate pear cane sugar in lime! Soooyummy. They also had their regular features the purple haze kale tonic and the Morning Meditation. Don't forgive me for not getting a photo of the food I was so hungry and it was so good I absolutely didn't get a picture of my plate however I highly recommend the million dollar harvest hash ! It is freshly seasoned sweet potatoes with their famous million dollar bacon that gives it that nice sweet and savory crunch house roasted Cremini mushrooms fresh kale Monterey Jack topped with two eggs any style I personally like mine over medium the herb goat cheese it was such a great compliment along with the lemon dressing and arugula drizzled with Mike's hot honey now he may sound like a lot but when I tell you this dish is a winner it is a winner!!! Some new additions for the fall menu is the Barbacoa quesadilla Benedict, the pumpkin pancakes along with the cinnamon spice churros. Worst visit to a restaurant I've ever had. Our 10-15 min wait turned into 45 minutes. Our waitress took our drink order and said she'd be right back. After 12 minutes we pulled another waitress to take our order but instead they pulled our original waitress to take our order and when I said we thought she'd never come back she laughed and said "that happens". I got an avocado toast and it looked like they prepared the avocados the day before or have way over ripe. Like seriously, would you serve this? I really like their biscuits and gravy. Ordered skillet with zucchini and mushrooms. Got two little pieces of each vegetable and the potatoes weren't cooked all the way. The bread was delicious as were the preserves, but they put the butter on when the bread isn't hot, so it just sits on top. Not great. Decaf coffee came in a little pot and was lukewarm. Finally got another pot at the end of the meal. Had to ask the server to remove the $4 from the check. Kind of pricey and really not worth the trouble. Never even got a refill on my iced tea. However, we were sat for 30 minutes after ordering and then the table that came in after us was served. Our waitress walked all around us avoiding eye contact, but didn't come over to say anything to us, which would have meant a lot. We would have left a great tip, because we understand that she doesn't control the kitchen. But the service was severely lacking and she only came over after we were served ten minutes later, and didn't even ask to refresh our drinks. I have no idea what it takes to run a successful restaurant, but a lot of places seem to have figured it out-this one has not. Wrong orders, improperly cooked; it took 30 minutes to make a waffle. We've hit two "premium breakfast-brunch" places recently so I am comparing the two-- and this place wins. Varied and interesting menu, good service, very tasty food. In addition-- both places were slammed, very busy. But whereas the other place told us it'd be a 45 minute wait -- that stretched to over 90 minutes -- this place told us it'd be about 35 minutes and in 30 we were seated. I realize some of that is based on factors outside of the staff's control, but the basic fact is that First Watch had a better handle on turnover and pacing. I do think the coffee ought to be better for the price! Not that this was bad-- but shouldn't these places have more options for coffee types? Not everyone wants 5-6 cups of weak joe-- some of us would prefer 1-2 cups of a stronger brew. Oh- drink selection was limited but they did have typical breakfast booze drinks (bloody mary, mimosa). While I can't say the bloody mary was great, it was decent and at a very decent price. read more

Casual breakfast/brunch conveniently located next to Costco :). We went on a Sunday and had reserved a seat prior because Sundays tend to get packed. For the most part service was good and food was delicious! Knocked off one star because my coffee cup had lipstick stains on it and they did replace it. But then they gave us water glasses and one of the glasses had lipstick stains as well. I ordered the chickichanga, and it tasted like it was left in the refrigerator a week, then covered with some weird slimy yellow ooze to cover up the staleness. And the potatoes... Ugh. They tasted rancid or maybe burnt, and were totally caked in salt. How can any chef mess up potatoes like this? And my girlfriend had avocado, and it was half black. Who serves black avocado? I will not be going back to any First Watch. There are much better, and reliable places to eat in Knoxville. And FW Management: don't bother apologizing. Don't waste your time. Put your time and effort into fixing your restaurant, and not your ego. read more

My cousin & I hadn't seen each other in months! We met up for breakfast at First Watch on Saturday. I had not been to this one in about 3 years. I was over joyed at how great it was! First I was concerned about my allergy to peppers and was quickly assured by our terrific waitress Margret that she "personally " would be sure everyone know in the kitchen. I ordered the "Bacono Omelet" and it was AWESOME! My dish came with a funny stick in it and in response to my question I was told it was an allergy 'flag'. I loved how they did take it seriously since some restaurants don't. I was so full so I had to get a to-go box for the salad of fresh greens & toast that came with my order. I normally never order eggs out, as we have 30 chickens yielding us the best eggs ever, but let me assure you the eggs in my omelet there were on par to our eggs at home. My cousin had the Avocado Toast & Eggs. It looked so yummy too. She enjoyed it immensely. Because we hadn't seen each other in such a long time we stayed a long time (probably too long for people wanting to eat) but never felt a push from the staff to leave and it seemed Margret enjoyed some of our cousin banter. Favorite juices: morning meditation or tropical sunrise (seasonal right now). Every dish I've tried has been just incredible. The pancakes were amazing, but what did disappoint me was the poached egg and the one piece of pork sausage which I substituted for the chicken sausage patty. I was kind of expecting more sausage pieces? And the eggs were a bit overcooked for poached eggs. I like mine runny which the Turkey Creek location does perfectly. The service here was lacking a bit.
