How is it you did not see this when preparing the food. I can not eat the rest of my food and I am praying there was not more in my food. Enjoyed eating at the S Arlington location but today was the first time I picked up 2 entrees to eat at home. It was ready to go when I arrived. Restaurant is set up for social distancing to pay as well as seating. I had the avocado toast on a whim. Very flavorful and filling. My husband got the super foods bowl and enjoyed it. They packaged the granola/ fruit topping which kept it crunchy. He enjoyed it. Also packed the almond butter separately from the multigrain toast so he could decide if he wanted to add it. So...about this place! I loved the fact that it was very calm, and not too loud. The environment was very pleasant. The hostess was as attentive as I allowed her (I was on my laptop), but they were very respectful. The food. Okay so I ordered the new seasonal Purple Haze juice- and it was so bomb! I'm a tea and lemon lover so the flavors were put together perfect! I also ordered the Frittata Rustica, only I substituted for egg whites only (not a big fan of eggs) and a side of the potatoes. Now the Frittata was put together amazing, only beware if you do egg whites, it tends to fall apart or tear different, but it was sooo good! I'm a potato lover too, so I could've eaten those all day long and they were seasoned perfect. The only downfall was that they were not as cooked as I would've like, but again the seasoning helped me muster right through that. No ketchup necessary lol! So I am a HUGE First Watch fan. I love been to multiple locations in the country. I live in Grand Prairie so was super excited when this location opened. I will say... they need some help. My order was incomplete, I never received some of the items asked for, and the waitresses seemed stressed and make you feel like a burden - as in, you ask for something and they just look at you and then walk away. Only been checked on once. I will probably just drive to Arlington or Fort Worth in. The future. Quite disappointing. read more

I waited 10 minutes for curbside delivery that never happened. Once I went in to pick up my order, that had probably been sitting for more than 10 minutes, it was not correct. They took another couple of minutes to get my coffee. I talked to the manager and he said they do not have the staff to manage curbside but if I call they will bring it out. If that is the process, that information should be on the website and outside the restaurant so the customer knows what to do. The manager then told me that he does not have any control over the corporate website. Why have me choose curbside on the website if the information is not proactively utilized. Waited for a shrimp and grits curbside order for almost 20 minutes. Workers were either ignoring the phone, or had it off the hook. I'd called 10x for my curbside order, before I stopped one of the many workers who were serving the patio, and asked why no one was picking up the phone. This is when I found out that apparently the curbside/to go employee called out. The worker who told me this said they'd bring my order out, when eventually I noticed they weren't going to. I had to go in and grab get my order, which is partially besides the point. A service (curbside) was offered by this entity, and they had hours since opening to determine how all areas of business would be covered. Customers should not have to experience poor customer service, just because someone "called out". On top of that, we are still in a pandemic, and customers choose to elect 'curbside' delivery for various reasons. This was unacceptable. read more
