The healthy drinks are part of my favorite things to get here and the foods always on point!

I am a big fan of First Watch. My first meal was at the First Watch in West Virginia, it was amazing! The service was excellent as well as the food. I started checking and found a First Watch in Greensboro. My Mom and I have gone twice both times service and food were excellent. My husband and I went on 2/24/23, The wait list was extremely long ( the first time that has happened) We were told it would be 10-15 min wait. After about 25 minutes I asked where we stood in line, we were asked if we would be willing to sit outside, I said yes. They opened up outside seating and stated seating others outside until all tables were full. I told my husband I was concerned we would be late for the car auction due to the service being so slow. About that time a gentleman came up and asked what we wanted to drink but he did not appear to be a waiter. He Also took our order at that time and said (he said his name unfortunately I do not remember his name) would be our waiter. The wait staff were hustling to get guests taken care of. They acted chipper and pleasant although under a lot of pressure. I went to the restroom and saw a server going out side and I asked him if he was (at the time I remembered his name). He said no and I said I was concerned he may not know he is our server due to the other gentlemen that took our order ( I did not want our food to just be sitting). He said he understood and smiled and we both went our own way. In just a few minutes our waiter came over and introduced himself and asked if we needed anything. He was very pleasant and said he was there if we did. Within just a few more minutes our food came. Food was good, we ate and saw Deandre the one who originally waited on us at the register. He apparently was the manager. What I noticed while we waited for our food was the staff were all about helping each other, even if it was not their job. it appeared they were following their example by their manager. Great job Deandre and your staff. I apologies I could not remember the name of our actual server but he was awesome! We sat outside at10:32 receipt # 40048. Our receipt says our waiter was Deandre but at the register, Deandre told the girl at the register to go ahead and ring us out so we or those behind us would not have to wait, and he would fix the server on the receipt later. First time in Greensboro and came across this place on yelp. Came in and was greeted right away and got seated from our Awesome server Sky. She was very attentive and made great recommendations on the food to choose. The food was awesome and Sky checked on us and filled our drinks without asking. Definitely coming back. read more

I absolutely love this place! I am obsessed with their fluffy Belgian waffles and the seasoned potatoes, they always have that one crunchy side! I see myself craving this 3 times a week but contain myself because it's not Waffle House. but soo worth it! The service and food is fast or the times I've gone it has been. Longest thing I usually wait for is the wait for a table but will definitely try calling ahead for a reservation next time like I've read some people do. read more

The worst service and eggs benedict I have ever been served in my life. Absolutely fucking screw this restaurant. I will never ever waste my time or money here again. The eggs weren't even poached and the hollandaise was garbage. Update: was mad as all hell when i went to type this and didn't even know it got posted. however, it still stands that it is the absolute worst eggs Benedict i've ever had. like literal garbage, i wouldn't call it an eggs Benedict. also to add more to their awfulness I had to give them another chance on mother's day because my mother wanted their food so my sister ordered online and i went to pick it up. waited 2 hours to pick up my food. the manager was rude and ignored me the whole time. i tried asking him and he kept blowing me off. after two hours i finally got some help from the very amazing hostess who found out my order apparently got lost and she took it down for me and got it to me as soon as possible. So, to reiterate, I hate this restaurant. Their food is garbage and their management is neglectful. The only good thing about that place is the super nice, wonderful, hardworking hostess who helped me out. She was swamped that whole day on mother's day and did everything she possibly could to help all of the people, unlike the manager who stood around looking like he didn't know he worked there. I arrived 1 PM on a Sunday. A manager in a black chef coat noticed me immediately and engaged; asking if I would join the community table or wait 20 minutes or so for a table. I declined and decided to get a to go order instead. Waited about 15 minutes for the to go order, avocado toast and large side of fruit. Avocado toast was amazing as were the eggs served with it!! I just recently went to First Watch a couple of days ago. I ordered the superfood bowl. It's almost like an açaí bowl, but without the smoothie base. The fruit that was on top of the bowl was fresh and tasted delicious. The give you a slice of toast topped with peanut butter and salt as a side. The reason I'm giving this restaurant four stars is because I think the salt tasted weird on the peanut butter bread. I also think the superfood bowl would taste better with an açaí base. read more

Service was immediately fantastic and great throughout the experience. We went for breakfast around 8:30 on a weekday and it wasn't too busy. There were a handful of other diners and plenty of wait staff. Our server was very friendly and didn't rush us. The food came out pretty quickly (about the time it takes to prepare eggs and toast) and was presented beautifully. It was delicious! The portion sizes were generous and I was very pleasantly surprised that they brought carafes of water and coffees when we ordered a water and a coffee. read more

We had a really bad experience at brunch today, and I'm disappointed because I previously loved this restaurant. We arrived as a family of four with two small kids. They got us right in and we wasted no time ordering because small kids are impatient. Our server had the drinks out quickly which was great. Then came the negative... We waited FOREVER for food. With no check in from the server. Finally, the kids plates came out. We were told that my husband and I would be another minute. Understandable, and I'd rather the kids get started. Their bacon was very undercooked. I'm not talking just not crisp, like really limp and nasty. We also had to ask for syrup which took a while. That was all still not a huge deal. Then my Bacado (bacon, avocado) omelet came out. No avocado, and no sour cream or pico. No toast as promised on the menu. The greens also were undressed. I am not one to send food back, but half the omelet was missing. I told the server and she took the whole plate back to remake it. Then my husband's food came out. The whole family was done eating when I tried to cancel my order. Because at that point, we were just done. Then the omelet came. The omelet was better, but not great. And the greens were slimy/clearly past their prime. I ate super quickly and we left. As I paid, I thought maybe someone would ask how it all was and I planned to be honest. No one did. I paid and left because my kids were very ready to go. The whole experience was poor. The food was bad. The service was lacking. I know restaurants are having issues right now, but what's the point in providing service if it's so bad?! Also, I noticed they're doing a robust pick up/take out service. Maybe focus on your dine in model again as a priority over take out?? I won't be back. read more

Met my parents here for breakfast this morning. We were seated right away & served coffee & water soon after being seated. Once we placed our order, we waited nearly 30 minutes for our food. (The restaurant was not busy). My father's eggs Benedict was barely lukewarm. My Mom & I had the truffle hash, which was delicious, but just barely warm. I wish I took a photo of my breakfast this morning. Today my boyfriend and I went to first watch for the first time and let me tell you it will not be the last. Our waitress Sky was so much fun and very helpful she even mentioned that the website had photos of the meals if it helped, and sure enough it really did! Great atmosphere, clean, up to date, and various menu options. Food is fresh and the menu isn't typical. Crazy busy, with a wait, but the place is only a week old. They have great choices for any preference. The coffee is wonderful, and when you order it, you get a pot! A 30 minute wait took over an hour and then the kitchen was backed up, so it took another 30 minutes to receive our food after order, and we didn't receive a plate of pancakes until after our party was finished eating.
