Walked in at 10am on a Saturday. Was told it would take 20-30 minutes for a table for 2. After 20 minutes they told me it would be another 20 minutes. At 40 minutes they told me you are still not at the 45 minute mark so they are right on time, which of course was a lie. At 55 minutes I noticed that there was a first-come, first-serve group table and we sat there - not sure why they didn't point us there to begin with. Evident that the on-line booking system is not effectively taking reservations nor predicting wait times. Also evident that the booking system is preferrentially seating 4+ groups to get more money per table. Will actively steer friends and family away from this place. read more

Huge fan of FirstWatch normally. Usually amazing fresh breakfast and brunch. Today at the Wendover location, It was medicocre. I write honest and usually very hopeful reviews, but today was not too hot. And so We've gotta keep these real and stay on our toes for that top notch FirstWatch caliber. The eggs were old, and had been sitting. They came out immediately after ordering. The place was surprisingly dirty and unkept. Wrong jams, wrong order. Moms salad was ok and her carrot juice was good though. Overall, 2 stars today. read more

The staff here is so amazing! During our visit I watched a pink haired young man sit down beside an elderly man and explain the menu items - it was an amazing experience. Another thing that was very bothersome was it took almost an hour for the food to reach our table and even then it wasn't hot it was cold. Went in with my friend for brunch on Monday. We ordered a pot of coffee. They brought us two coffee mugs both of which had leftover coffee droplets and coffee grounds inside. We did not stay to eat. They do not know how to work their IPAD waiting app. Been there twice and they seat people out of order and ahead of wait times. Have to go up and be asked to be seated. It only took about 10 minutes to get a seat. The decor looks great. The food was good, the grits were really good. The service is awful. Really began to think the staff was anti-HPU. My son was wearing his school sweatshirt and hat, so that was the only reason I could see that we had to ask someone if we had a server. Two families that were seated after us had been greeted by a server, had received their coffee and juice, and we had not even been approached. The server we stopped was nice and took our drink order, my husband told her we had never been there before. After we placed our order, we waited 40 minutes for 3 orders of waffles. We were there long enough to notice that the bus boy was wearing gloves to clean the tables. We were there for almost 1 1/2 hours for breakfast and had to ask for everything. Really disappointing for my husband's birthday lunch. My husband complained as we paid our 48.00 lunch bill about how bad the service was, there was another women complaning about the service also. read more

Nice spot my grandmother and I went for breakfast on a Wednesday. We had a really nice waitress I can't think of her name. She was skinny and wore long braid down her back I think it was Skylar but I'm not sure . She was so helpful and was able to answer all of our questions. This place is my go-to for delivered breakfast. My expectations for delivery food are always low, I worked service industry for 12 years- I get it. The farmhouse hash is what I always get and almost every time the potatoes are burnt. Not crispy, they taste bitter, smoky, and burnt. Most of their menu items are wildly overpriced but I felt this one was fair enough. The cheese and avacado are always skimp, so I decided to add extra today. We arrived at the restaurant at 10 AM this morning, we waited and hour and a half for be seated and then 45 minutes for our food. The service was very slow and poor. Food was pretty good, scramble eggs not good at all! While waiting outside to be seated we observed that the guests from 9 of the 10 tables outside finished eating and left the restaurant but the tables were not cleaned unit at least 45 minutes later. Upon entering the restaurant the host was quoting new guests 2 hours to be seated and almost half of the tables inside were empty. It was painful to watch as dozens of people just turned around and left frustrated. There was clearly no management is sight! We felt sorry for the people who did show up to work there that day as they were slammed and the restaurant was performing at maybe 30%. Painful to watch, hope they can get this corrected and stay in business. read more

This was my and my daughters first visit. I would come back for the service alone. The hostess took our information to check us in and made it extremely pleasant even though she said It was going to be about an hour wait. We were starving but wanted to try it out. It was only about 20 mins so so i was glad we stayed. Once seated we were greeted quickly by our server. Skylar was great. She was very personable and was very knowledgeable about the menu. She seemed to enjoy her job and was unbothered by the amount of tables. She seemed to handle each table with an amazing attitude. We weren't quite ready to order because of our unfamiliarity with the menu but she was glad to help by giving great suggestions based oh our stated likes and dislikes. She enthusiastically discussed the specials and immediately sold me on the Purple Haze it was AMAZING. I probably wouldn't get it again though because of the $5 price tag and no refills but it was great for a one time try. She kept us informed of the status of our food and I was so impressed with how pleasant the servers were that assisted her by bringing out our food. They treated us as if THEY were our servers. Great teamwork! Keep Skylar around. I will ask for her when we come back. The food was delicious. I will say that one of our favorite restaurants is very similar but gives way better portions for the price. I hardly ever finish my food at a restaurant but didn't have anything left. Bummer. I do love the freshness of the veggies and the multigrain bread should be sold by the loaf. I first ate first watch by doordash delivery, and the food came very quick. And it was a big order, and everything was pretty much correct. So then, my second time trying first watch again was not a pleasant experience.. I ordered my food online at firstwatch.com, had each meal (2 meals) under my name and my boyfriends name but under one order of course. I had him pick it up, 15 minutes after I placed the order because that's when they said it was ready.. he has never been in the restaurant before, but he was greeted and asked what name the order was under and he told them our names.. he was given the food and was then asked to wait outside in hot weather, or course he would start sweating.. wait outside? So did he receive our whole order or no? They didn't give him time to check the food inside the bag or helped him understand that both orders were in the bag so he was confused if we received both of our food or not, and when he tried to question or ask for help, he felt like the women in the front kept shoo-ing him away.. horrible service, another woman just kept talking to him about unrelated things & talked about knowing him through instagram, etc. besides trying to check his food (I was on the phone the whole time so I could hear his entire experience, trying to help him exactly what our order was) He said the restaurant was very nice in the inside..Food was good, service could've been better in the front, he had to ask for the manager for someone to actually talk to him about our food, he was very helpful to him and told him that both of our orders were in the bag. I had the farmhouse hash, the avocados definitely could've been fresher.. wish I could've taken a picture but by the time the confusion was sorted and he was back with the food, I had to eat fast & quickly head to work. Pretty solid breakfast & brunch stop. I'm guessing it's a growing modern style chain. It's simple a beautiful interior which style is modern and clean. The place just opened and it was packed. Took an hour and half to get seated and meals. The food was really good. It says everything is freshly made and it definitely seems like it. I would give it 5 so for starters 1-do not go 45min before closing 2-do not go day before or on a Holiday the service is not up to par the servers seem to get sidetracked very easily. Food is rushed being cooked so dishes will come out missing items like toast once again don't expect to get it when you inform server because they get sidetracked and forget. Omelette's over cooked potatoes under cooked toast missing drinks came out not in fancy way as prior. Favorite items the Mimosa, pomegranate drink, shrimp and grits, eggs Benedict, and Frittata omelette (veggie). I love bacon but was not really impressed with the Million Dollar bacon just seemed regular to me.
