We found this place because my son asked his fellow med school students for a wonderful brunch place and this did not disappoint. Every meal came out hot and the waitress was spot on. There were pots of coffee on the table so the cups never got empty and the food was absolutely amazing. There were enough leftovers to put together another full meal for my son for breakfast the next day. Every meal that came out was cooked to perfection and one of the people in our party is gluten-free and they have gluten-free toast and other options at no additional charge. I can honestly say over the next four years of med school this will be one of our go to breakfast places each and every trip! read more

The line looked like it was out the door so my sister dropped me off and went to park the car. I walked in and only waited a few minutes and was seated, table for four. The waitresses were super busy and hurried at every move but they were never rude to the customer. The food was fresh and delicious. They had a nice selection of breakfast, brunch, and lunch items but not a ton of options. I would much rather see a nice basic variety than a restaurant that has to many options and does none of them well. The food here is fresh and healthy. Best bacon ever! My friends and I came to first watch on January 30 for brunch. The food was cold by the time we got it, we had no silverware or napkins and we were very disappointed. I had been bragging about how tasty this place was and everything came out cold and the service was terrible. We had a woman bring our food to us and she practically threw it on the table and just walked away. When we asked for silverware we were handed a mug of forks, spoons & knives. My friend placed a online order for us, we waited over 30 minutes past the time it was said to be ready, granted it was slammed in there but the host (very rude ) gave no communication just said "it'll be placed up there on the shelf when it's ready " we proceeded to wait eventually asked how much longer, a server had to go check on the order... to look like this when we got home ! Don't come here if you aren't from here. I was in town for my sister-in-law's graduation, and I'm sure you think you know where this is going... But a special occasion weekend is no excuse for what happened today. Over 1-hour wait for a table: Upon arrival we were told that we had a 20 minute wait for a party of 8. 25 minutes later I personally went inside to ask for an update and we were told it would be another 20 minutes. Not happy but we continued to wait. Another 25 minutes went by without update so we went back in to ask what was going on and we even volunteered to take tables that were split up. We stood and watched someone else take a clean table who hadn't been waiting as long as us and when I asked what that was about, only then were we informed that apparently people can queue jump if you use their app to put yourselves on the waiting list. My family, including grandparents, were left outside in the cold wind without being told about this rule. For an hour. 3 different hostesses failed to update us fully and didn't really apologize for it either. Food was okay - which is why it's two stars and not one. The potatoes were pretty undercooked and firm even though food came out all together and in a timely manor. Hostesses at checkout took almost ten minutes to attempt to figure out how to split a pretty simple bill on our table of 4 and even then we just settled for putting everything on one card because they actually never figured it out. I've had this place a few times and I'm honestly not sure what people are raving about. The first time I got eggs Benedict and it was the worst I've ever had. The egg was cooked fully (supposed to be poached) and the hollandaise sauce was the wrong color and did not taste like hollandaise at all. Very unpleasant experience. We were excited about the menu choices. But after we were seated at our table the waitress seemed to dislike us immediately for no reason, even though we were pleasant with her. She touched the rim of our glasses when delivering our drinks. I ordered the market hash, and requested no mozzarella, only goat cheese. My husband ordered the tri-athlete. His plate came 20 mins before mine, said it tasted like soggy water logged eggs and it was cold inside. When my food finally came, my husband had already finished his. I ate a few bites to find out they added mozzarella anyway, I was so hungry I ate it anyway even though I'm allergic and will be suffering for it. When we went to pay, the lady asked how our meal was. I was honest and said "not great!" She proceeded to make the excuse that they were so busy today and hopefully next time will be better. I understand a place being busy but I've also worked in the food service industry and know to never serve part of the table and not the rest, especially when it's just a couple. We each had a barbacoa breakfast burrito, and my wife had a cranberry crush, I had coffee. I usually love this place but I had really BAD experience today. We were sat at a dirty table. That should have been a red flag but we allowed them to clean it & we still ordered. When I ordered a drink, they didn't bring the cinnamon stick that Always comes with it. When I asked the server for the cinnamon stick, she rolled her eyes and agreed to bring cinnamon. Then, after ordering my food with extra cheese on top, the server brought my food and I could not see any cheese at all on my hash or on the eggs. She offered to add more cheese which I gladly accepted. All to be given a meal with eggs over cooked (over hard when I asked for over easy). She finally came to check on us 10 min later and that's when the restaurant was closed, chairs were on the tables, they were sweeping around us, and we requested the manager. The only thing the manager had to offer was 50% off the meal, not even preparing our order the way we requested initially. Service has worsened and I would not recommend at all. read more

Came here on a Sunday after church and the place was packed. They told us 30-40 minute wait which was accurate, but what they didn't explain was the 45 minute wait after you are already seated. I came here with my friends for a girls' brunch on a day with no class. I was super excited to dive in after hearing nothing but good things about this place from their Raleigh location. I then heard equally good things about the Greenville location and knew it was the perfect place for our next brunch outing. After perusing the menu, I was honestly disappointed that there were so few vegan options but knew I could make something work and possibly sneak in a little goat cheese for a treat. So ordered the beet toast on sourdough with the home fries and a coffee. I was impressed to see they had vanilla silk creamer available. When you order coffee they bring a whole carafe which keeps the coffee hot a practically unlimited for the duration of the visit. A few minutes later, our meals came out. I was impressed with the presentation. I loved the flavor of the beet toast and was glad I splurged with the goat cheese as it rounded out the flavors. The home fries were well-seasoned and made perfect with ketchup. I enjoyed the meal overall--both the service and the ambiance were top-notch. Yes, very friendly but not attentive at all my boyfriends drink was empty for ten minutes and she never came by or brought him a refill. My co-workers recommended this place and I decided I'd give it a try, the place is beautifully built on the inside and out; I ordered the pancakes, million dollar bacon (get the bacon), and omelette (came with potatoes). Pancakes: Solid.....They were good, I love places that take up the whole plate when they make pancakes. Pancakes: 7/10 Million Dollar Bacon: The John Cena of the place, it's essentially bacon with Honey Glazed stuff on top, it's good though. Bacon: 9.9/10 (Took up too much of the plate). Omelette (With Ham): Man oh man. This was the only thing that I didn't like, the ham looked like it had been stuffed in the omelette instead of cooked in the omelette. Also it didn't have a distinctive taste to make it pop from regular omelettes that you could find at the Ihop in this town (the worst Ihop in history!!!!).
