Great service from Raul. Was very nice and offered good suggestions. Only issue I noticed was that it was kind of understaffed during a busy lunch hour and food took longer than usual. Also, all the pancakes we ordered were burnt on the bottom but the top tasted great. Lemon ricotta pancakes didn't taste too much like lemon and need more ricotta cheese. Also the lemon curd on top tasted like pure onion. The fruit preserves for the toast is AMAZING. I would buy a jar to take home if I could. Potatoes are delicious and so are the eggs. Ok, so this was not my first time here and probably won't be my last, but I am disappointed. So I used that app to get myself in line and try to beat some of the wait, which we did. We were. Party of 7, sat in a booth with an end chair. So here we go, our server brought some coffee and water for the table..... and forgot about us. I know we were talking but there is no reason to forget us. So when I was able to get someone's attention, they asked if they could help. But what we needed was someone to take our order. When our server arrived, I think she was a bit upset that we brought it to someone's attention that we had been waiting. After our order was taken they brought our food out, which was amazing. After some of our food was served, they forgot 1 order of French Toast, 1 chocolate milk, syrup and a fresh pot of coffee. Other then that the food, as mentioned before, was amazing. We had Avocado Toast, French Toast, Egg White Omelet, and Million Dollar Bacon. The food was great, but the service was weak. After paying our bill we were asked how it was, I said ok. We live within 3 minutes of the restaurant, however had not tried the place. We figured maybe this would be a weekly breakfast spot for us since we live so close. We ordered through Uber eats for pickup. I arrived 10 minutes early to ensure I would get my food fresh out of the kitchen. Pickup process was a complete mess. You get a lot of "shrug emojis" when asking when your order will come out. I waited by the pickup table for 20-30 minutes after the stated pickup time of 11:45 am only to be told that there's no such thing as order for pickup on Uber eats and the app is for delivery only. I figured this was possibly an anomaly, until an Uber driver next to me at the pickup table made it known that pickup on the weekends is always a mess. One of the staff members was very rude to him as well. Once the food arrived, I took it home (mind you, less than 3 minutes away) and it was luke warm temperature. Potatoes were a little underdone, bacon was crispy on the egg sandwich but overall not "outstanding" or "spectacular" tasting food like some of these other Yelp reviews state. Overall, the food is just fine. But given the price of some of items, the insane hassle of picking up, wild wait times for dine in (1 hour+) and very subpar customer service, this is a 100% skip. First Watch is fresh and tasty. We usually go to the Pembroke Pines location but when we tried this one the food was just as good.

This place never disappoints. The ideal time to go is definitely during the week. The weekends are way more full especially since it's so near the airport and the port is also near by. I love first watch! It is my go to nearby breakfast place because of its delicious healthy options that always taste fresh. The avocado toast (switching the eggs for potatoes) is one of my main choices for a filling plate. The chia seed bowl (and açaí bowl when they had it over summer) is a great option if you want a lighter healthy breakfast (it's vegan as is). I've also gotten the market sandwich (remove mayo and cheese to be vegan) with potatoes as the side as a great lunch option. It was filling and the veggies had great flavor. They also always have non-dairy Silk coffee creamers which is a plus. Definitely recommend any of their locations as I've been to various. read more

I read about the bad service in other reviews but decided to give this place a chance. The place is cute and seems clean. Those are the only pros. The coffee was bad, the service was terrible. From the minute we sat down and waited 10 minutes to be acknowledged we should have known it was going to be an unpleasant experience. Server was inattentive and forgot to bring out part of the order ahead of time as requested. When the food was brought to us, it was cold. Cold as ice. The food itself was mediocre at best. The manager was nowhere to be found in the dining space. When we asked to speak to him he seemed ineffectual and unmotivated. Did I mention we went at a time when there were more servers than patrons? Don't waste your time and money. Such a disappointment. And no, our meal was not comped. read more

They don't know how to make poached eggs please don't try the Eggs Benedict . The onions were just chopped like whatever on top, the bread was bad, super thin salmon slice, almost invisible, it was garnish with an also invisible hollandaise. After eating at the airport this place was a welcome change! My Fh and daughter and I had breakfast here before a day of sightseeing in the Everglades. We shared the Million Dollar Bacon which was worth every penny! So rich and flavorful! We also ordered a Chickichanga (egg and chorizo burrito) with a side salad instead of potatoes, Lovie had the Hacienda Hash and my girl had The Traditional. The food was fresh and served quickly. They were super sweet about swapping out potatoes for greens, too. I'd totally come back here. Oh, and try the Kale Tonic. Very disappointed with this First Watch location. I have previously gone to other First Watch establishments in different cities, and I have never felt like rating this restaurant with a one star. Our server, Citlally, gave us the worst service ever. She was rude and careless. She took our plate away while we were still eating, I had asked her to bring me something, and she just walked away as I talked to her. I found that very disrespectful. As for our food, it was cold and took very long to reach the table. She also slammed the plates a lot which is very harsh. Today we waited 40 minutes for our food (more than the time we were waiting to be seated) not the waiter's fault at all! He actually let us know in advance that the kitchen was running behind with the orders! Be aware that this place closes at 2:30 and we sat down at 1:40! Coffee was good , no straw for the ice coffee, we waited 15 minutes to get a straw, no water on the table!! I ordered a Bacado (omelette with bacon , avocado and cheese) first time in my entire life that I see frozen avocado in an omelette!! Is that even possible?? It was so hard that I finished eating and the avocado was still hard as rock! (See pics) I guess the cooking guy was more interested in clocking out than doing his job well !! He/she just throws the avocado on the omelette expecting the heat would do the rest!! I nicely complained to the waiter , he apologized after seeing the frozen avocado on my plate! Came to try this out after my mom raved about how great it was, so decided I had to see what made it great. Showed up on a Wednesday morning and ordered Trifecta - sunny side up eggs, chicken sausage, and a belgian waffle. At $9.99, you cant really complain at the price when it includes the waffle! The reason for 3 stars, however, would be because I wasnt crazy about the eggs or the chicken sausage, but the waffle was well worth it. Though I ordered to go, I did enjoy the vibe of the place, the staff was friendly, and it seemed like a place youd like to frequent more than once. I was there on the Sunday before Labor Day. I did not have a great experience. They were out orange and the million dollar bacon was more like a $1.50. I had been to First Watch in Central Fl. The bacon was 1/8 of an inch thick and delicious. The Ricotta cheese pancakes also missed the mark and were served on a small plate that made it uncomfortable to eat. I see a lot of very good reviews and I don't want to discourage anyone from trying First Watch. Maybe they were having a bad day. I will probably try them again myself. read more

This place has a wide variety of healthy options for breakfast! My ordered the power breakfast bowl which was a quinoa bowl with kale, mushrooms, Italian sauce and two fried eggs on top. Props to Ruth who was our server along with initially another bright and bubbly customer friendly woman-seemed like a manager or head server was the first to come to the table to offer coffee.
