This place is AWESOME!!!! We checked in via yelp, and I'm glad we did because the wait it quite long since it's a popular new location, and the wait was about 15-20mins. The place is super cute, has a great farm/barn look and a great open floor with lots of seating. The food choices are HEAVENLY!!! Sooo much awesomeness, I wanted to order multiple dishes at once. We had the salmon Benedict and Avocado toast. I can't wait to come back for the pancakes, French toast, and all the other sweets they offer! We enjoyed mother's day breakfast at First Watch Oldsmar. Amazingly our meals arrived at our tables super quick despite the crowd. We sat outside with pros = quieter, immediate seating vs 20 min wait for inside and cons = cool breeze but still sticky humidity. I would recommend using the waitlist found on Yelp here as when we left the wait was huge. For our meals we had lemon ricotta pancakes, Bacado and Mediterranean bowl - all super delicious. All Moms received a Mother's Day small box of chocolates - thank you! Last thing - it was a pleasure going to a restaurant where it was easy to find a parking space. After a Yelp event at another location I had to visit First Watch again. Let's see let me start with little facts know one might know. First Watch serve the restaurant's new Project Sunrise coffee, grown by an independent group of female farmers in Huila, Colombia, called Mujeres en Café. How did this restaurant get its name? Since the majority of the people who visit First Watch are not sailors, pirates or sea-farin' scallywags, well First Watch is a nautical term that refers to the very first shift of the day. It is a Cafe chain for health-minded with breakfast, brunch & lunch options such as omelets, pancakes, salads and soups. The Avocado Toast is my favorite (The Avocado Toast was served with thick-cut whole grain toast topped with fresh smashed avocado and I got 2 eggs over-easy to go with it), followed by the Bistro Steak Hash, and then the Pancakes. First Watch pride themselves with Healthy, flavorful menu items include house-made granola, pico de gallo, organic greens, house-roasted vegetables and cage-free eggs. There are also traditional favorites such as omelets, pancakes, sandwiches, salads and soups.  I love the new design of the interior - very open feel. I highly recommend. The food at first watch in general is really great. However, this comment is on the customer service i experienced while doing an Uber eats delivery and had to pick up from this location. When i arrived at this location for a pickup, there was a small line to speak with a hostes so i waited. While standing there, more people came in and stood behind me. A second hostes comes out and looks past me (black male) and says to the people behind me (who were white). Hello, and how many are in your party? I kindly stepped to her and let her know i was next, and she refused to look at me and proceeded to seat the white family behind me. As that family walked by me, they all looked down towards the ground as they passed because they knew what had just happened. At this point I'm furious. When i went to speak with the other hostess, she knew what had happened as well because she was somewhat embarrassed. Who would think that in 2023 you still would have to deal with "in your face" racism. The extreme disrespect in this dispensation will mot be tolerated. Stay far away from this location unless you enjoy the mistreatment of others unless you yourself become a victom. read more

I've been to other locations before. This one has ample parking, quick wait times (even on a busy Saturday morning). Complimentary coffee and lemon water sits at the front door for those who do have to wait for a table. Wait staff was super attentive and nice. Food arrived promptly. Ordered the veggie wrap which came with a side of fruit. I could've subbed it for home fries but I decided to order the home fries in addition to my meal; all of which were delicious. The wrap oozed of cheese and flavor (and I'm not a huge fan of cheese). The home fries were lightly seasoned but perfect for a side. Good sized portions also to mention. The special cinnamon cider they had was pretty flavorful despite the small serving size glass. Prices were very reasonable. All in all, I'd highly recommend for a breakfast/brunch spot. read more

I had their chorizo breakfast burrito, avocado toast, breakfast tacos-not all at once, but it's one of my favorite places for breakfast on Saturday. Tried their Morning Meditation drink-it's refreshing and very healthy. They offer breakfast bowls, and a healthier menu. The staff is friendly and location is convenient with plenty of parking. First Watch opened on Monday and it seems they've been busy since their doors were unlocked. My Beau lives literally around the corner, so we've been waiting with fascination as we watched the eatery being built from the ground up, so when I stayed over the other night and headed home in the morning, I stopped in for breakfast. I was seated immediately. Inside is rustic but lovely, with lots of wood and metal decor. Reminiscent of farmhouse, but not quite. It smells good. Their menu isn't one I was familiar with, lots of whole grain and other things, but I found what I was looking for and ordered their Old Fashioned breakfast with Eggs, bacon and a belgain waffle, and a pot of coffee. The coffee was strong, and the table side creamer had seasonal PUMPKIN SPICE creamer in it as well as my prefered half/half. Breakfast came out in 10 minutes or a little more, the place was busy, after all and it was good. The bacon was well done and crispy, the eggs were as I ordered and the waffle was light and airy, with a side of fruit compote to go on top. I didn't think to ask for maple syrup. This place is a great atmosphere and great food, but the reason why I gave it a 2 is because my family and I wanted to come in for brunch and they almost turned us away, saying they don't accommodate for groups greater than 6. This shocked me because I didn't think restaurants turned people away for being too large. I could understand if the establishment was small, but in a place that has both indoor and outdoor seating, I would think you wouldn't turn people away!!!! Go to the one on US 19! This location was subpar...but left a bad taste in my mouth (see what I did there). So it was a little busy around 11am...I've seen worse; but it doesn't excuse the following issues: let's start with the dirty water glasses (almost lost my appetite)...Ive had better coffee at 7/eleven, it was bitter and not good...then there was the 32 minute wait for our small breakfast...lastly...above the screaming kids and loud mouth idiot next to us complaining about "there's no steak" in the same steak and bacon burrito that I too was waiting on! Of course when it did come out...over a 1/2 hour later...it was barely warm from sitting at the pass for 15 minutes. So...will we be coming back? Hell No! I ordered the Parma Skillet Hash: 2 cage free eggs on top of seasoned potatoes with Italian sausage, roasted Crimini mushrooms, onions and tomatoes with melted parmesan, mozzarella and fresh herbs. Picked a very busy time, midday on a Sunday, and although we were seated within fifteen minutes service was slow to take order and meal took over an hour to be served. We both had eggs Benedict which were done perfectly. The hollandaise could have used a bit more lemon but the eggs were just right. read more

One of the better breakfast/brunch spots in Tampa Bay with several locations throughout. Expect long waits on weekends but with Yelp's waitlist option, it makes it easy to time it right and not wait much. The seasonal menu is always pretty amazing. Pumpkin pancakes and short rib omelete are pretty outstanding. You also have to love that they leave a pot a coffee at your table!! read more

Prompt seating, quick service, great coffee. First watch is always great, they're one of the more corporate chains that I frequent and rarely have negative experiences with. This time around I got the Barbacoa breakfast tacos; the normal ones use chicken, but personally I think pork or beef pairs better with eggs. Comes with authentic cojito cheese and a slice of avocado on top, also black beans on the side. Very tasty, not super filling but just enough. I'll be back to this one for sure. read more

The staff are always very nice and it's kind of fun where there's more than one person who seems to take care of your table. The last time we went I got the short rib omelette and it was outstanding. I excited that they built a first watch a bit closer to where I live. I'm not much of a brunch person but when I do want brunch I know First Watch will prolly have something on the menu that I'm hungry for. I'm not sure if you can come during a time that this place isn't busy but I'm sure they have those rare occasions. If you're worried you'll wait a while to get seated you can always save your spot ahead of time on the yelp app. I've never had to wait too long to get seated but I usually wait a good while to get my food. I'm guessing it's because things here are made a little more fresh them your neighborhood McDonald's. But on average I wait about 30 min after I order to get the food. The dishes I've got so far are too my liking and definitely gets me filled for the day. I'm not really a coffee drinker but the coffee here is very tastes and has a cool story behind it. All in all this is becoming my go to brunch place. It's simple, homely and has what I want. The prices are bit higher than other brunch places but I'd say worth it. read more

This is my favorite breakfast spot! It's DELICIOUS! And we only waited for 15 minutes on a Sunday after church! For the food, I got the Traditional. My eggs were amazing, and the potatoes were pretty good. They probably would have been better with ketchup if I thought of it. The sausage was the best sausage I have ever had! The bread was to die for, especially with that yummy strawberry spread! And you can't go wrong with freshly squeezed orange juice! Our server, Tara was great, too! I have been driving by since their construction days and decided to stop by today. There was a good amount of customers for a Thursday at 9:30 in the morning. We were seated as soon as we walked in. Cute little place , I loved the decor and liked how i could see the kitchen from my booth. The menu, it's sort of in a paragraph form. I don't want to feel like I am reading the paper while trying to order some breakfast to be honest. I ended up ordering the biscuits and Turkey gravy which was delicious, it also came with eggs and potatoes. The biscuits or should I say one full biscuit plus a half of biscuit (like come on give me the other half for damn sakes) were smothered in that delicious gravy. My man ordered the Belgium waffle that came with bacon and eggs. The waffle light and fluffy (good) and the bacon was barely there...but this isn't Kekes anyways. Overall, would I come back? Yeah. Great food and atmosphere, except for our "entitled" waitress, Victoria (skinny/short hair) at Oldsmar First Watch. We were seated right away on Mother's Day (May 9, 2021 @7:55am) with our party of six and asked for four coffees. The waitress poured the two cups that were on our table and then left, supposedly to get two more cups. TEN MINUTES later, I waived her down for the coffee and she said with sass, "it's right here" (she had two cups in her hand). I said, "great, I just thought you were getting it earlier." No apologies, I'm not kidding, she said this: "we're a bit busy, hot food has priority so we serve the food first." She didn't ask us anything else, simply left the table. *Look at the picture. There were six other tables in the entire restaurant. We waited until it was 20 minutes into our morning breakfast to treat our mother, who was visiting from Colombia. Not one visit from her and I saw her leave the kitchen once. That was pretty much the breaking point for my wife, who then went to the front and asked to change the waitress. Of course, Victoria emerges and follows her back to the table, only to ask, "what would you like" (with attitude again!). Please train this girl - she's a waitress, not a Doctor or a Reverend. I usually always come to this one for breakfast seated and greeted instantly when you walk in the door. I decided to sit at the community table today service was still fast and consistent refills, 2 bite check. I had the chickichanga and the morning mediation two of my favorites. The juice is super refreshing and not to sweet great alternative is the kale tonic if you like your super foods. The chickichanga is my favorite thing on the menu whipped eggs, spicy chicken, peppers, sour cream with Monterey Jack cheese soooo good. This is the second time I've come to this first watch and the 2nd time the waitlist online said there was no wait and the second time I showed up with there being a wait. If the software doesn't work shut it down please! It's also the second time the rude hosts said it must be us and sometimes that just happens! I've been going to first watch using Nowait and yelp for years and never had an issue at any other locations other than Clearwater. I'm about to give up on first watch because even after this happened the hosts didn't seat us as we were the only people waiting to be seated two others walk in after 5-10 minutes and they were about to just seat them until my girlfriend spoke up and then they suddenly said oh sorry yes right this way. While sitting there we counted 5 tables open and clean and 3 more open waiting to be bussed. This is nothing less than poor management and staff. Oldsmar first watch is off our list too many other choices that honestly are better and cheaper. read more

This place probably has the worst customer service ever! Don't even bother ordering to-go or carry out. They'll either forget about your order or push it all the way back so you'll end up waiting an extra 30-45 mins on your order. Don't even bother order from uber eats or doordash either! They'll push back your food and if you order via pickup they won't even hit the button stating that's its ready and just leave your food on their pick up table! I literally had to go in there and demand my food when I ordered a pickup even though I waited 45 mins past my pickup time. Pathetic customer service. read more
