Part of the First Watch franchise near University of Central Florida. Nice, clean venue with a relaxed atmosphere. I only had two Morning Meditations (orange, lemon, turmeric, ornanic ginger, agave nectar and a splash of beet juice). The service by Kristen was attentive and very friendly. Will come again!

Always a treat to come to first watch and I appreciate the wide variety of options they have to offer. It has a casual atmosphere and quick waiters. I got the pesto quinoa chicken bowl and a morning meditation drink. I enjoyed everything I got. My bf got the waffles and the limited time pineapple juice coconut water drink. He was not a huge fan of the rim on the drink other than that he didn't mind it. While I don't think First watch's food prices are crazy due to current inflation, I do think their juice prices are excessive so that is why I've knocked down one star.

Come back another day if you see this manager. She likes to gaslight and sabotage First Watch experiences. Or just don't go to First Watch.

The visit to First Watch UCF was the single most disappointing visit of our Orlando trip in 2025. I've visited a First Watch in Winter Park and it is night and day to the one at UCF. The 1st negative experience was after being seated. We were a group of 13 but 12 seats were arranged. No problem. We moved the 6 2-person tables apart to make way from to create room for a chair to be placed in between. After doing so, an irate manager reprimanded our table that we created an obstruction in a very unprofessional tone. We assured her that all we had to do is move slightly in another direction to alleviate the passageway. She didn't like the response when we told her it's not a big deal and we could fix it. Not many customers appreciate being spoken to like a child when they are grown adults having to deal with short tempered managers trying to exercise their authority when it was not warranted. We didn't pursue a complaint or escalate a higher up that we were spoken to rudely because the other half of the table were children and didn't want to cause a scene. The waitress was great at first. She did exactly what was required as a server and in no way was she in control of what happened after she took our order, just to be fair. Our order was taken and that's when things got sketchy. It's not uncommon to notice that in this area of Orlando that the primary demographic is less of people of color. You can see that in plain sight when you walk in. You can also see in plain sight when a large group of people of color walk into a predominantly white establishment, like our group. Now that we got that out of the way, let's talk about our service after the horrible interaction with the manager after we showed disapproval of her tone to grown Americans, whether she believes we deserve the same dignity as the majority of the clientele or not. We sat there waiting for an hour and 30 min for all of our food to come out. We found it odd that we couldn't have all our food come at the same time. Whether it be staggered for 30 to 35 min, not 20 min for the 1st dish to 1 hour 30 min for the last dish. Our table consisted of 6 adults, 7 kids. Of the adults, 2 police officers, 1 Navy Veteran. I mention this because I assumed "First Watch" had a Navy nautical term associated but as I wiki, it's some other terminology. Even though they were not in uniform on a Sunday morning brunch, you'd still expect every customer to receive the same respect, gratuity they are being given and charged and earned in return. As for the children not receiving their food in an appropriate time after ordering, I assumed, less than an hour and 30 minutes would be efficient. One child suffers from Type 1 diabetes, the other is a Stage 4 Cancer survivor. One of the guests in our party, a Police officer visiting from California questioned the manager because his son who is the Type 1 diabetic needed to feed due to his insulin level3, was met with hostility from the same manager from when we were seated. Apparently , she's responsible for the seating and expediting of the orders to the tables. All he wanted was to get food for his son and the rest of the group that was waiting for over an hour. He told the manager that there was food missing and she rudely told him that there are stations and some orders get out before others, yet the table in front of us finished after we were seated, then cleaned, newly reseated, they ordered, and then received their sandwiches before our table got their last orders of sandwiches. So that only leads is to believe that the manager was purposely sabotaging our table. Just because the manager felt disrespected that we expressed our displeasure in her tone to us. That doesn't give her the right to jeopardize our visit by staggering our order for 1 and 1/2 hours in retaliation.

I had not eaten at a First Watch since we moved here from Charlotte about three years ago. They had a deal around Thanksgiving that if you purchase a $50 gift card you received a $10 bonus bucks gift card that expires 2/23/25. It was getting close to my $10 expiring so I decided I needed to go for breakfast on my way to school. When I looked at the terms for the bonus gift card, I noticed you could use it for an online order so I chose that instead of eating in the restaurant. In my order, I indicated that I needed utensils, but I did not receive any of my bag. There were no napkins either. Luckily I had some extra things in my car so I was able to eat. I would have preferred. The potatoes be cooked more, but everything was fine. I was mainly disappointed by the fact that I went to use my $50 gift card and the balance on it was zero even though I never used it. I put in a ticket so we'll see what happens. I probably won't be buying any more digital gift cards in the future.

My fav. Is definitely the French toast -light and fluffy.

Staff is amazing! The ambiance is nice. The parking spots are tight. The French toast is wonderful! The Parma skillet hash was a little too greasy and super salty. My wife got an omelet and her regular skillet potatoes were super salty. It was good but not great. But the waitress was super nice and it was packed. She didn't care for the bread either.

I ordered the traditional breakfast to share with my boyfriend, and we swapped the toast this time for sourdough. The food was really good per usual and their bacon IS TO DIE FOR. First Watch serves up a consistent and delicious breakfast no matter which location I've tried. This one happens to be down the street from UCF, and decked out with UCF Knights décor. It seems like a newer plaza and the place was incredibly clean and not too busy on a Sunday morning around 8am. We were seated promptly and served our meals quickly. Everything brought out was accurate, as was the bill. Zero complaints. It's the first time I ordered the Traditional Breakfast and I went with scrambled eggs (pleasantly not overdone), pork sausage links (big and awesome), English muffin, and hash browns (crispy and tasty). We also ordered the Floridian French Toast which looked amazing - literally stacked with fresh bananas, kiwi, and strawberry. I heard the fresh jam was surprisingly good and syrup wasn't necessary. Glad we stopped in. This location is also next to (walkable) the Hilton Home2Suites UCF.

Pros: 1. blueberry pancakes are okay but the blueberry compote that comes with them is pretty awesome. 2. the health factor. it is nice to kind of be forced into ordering something moderately healthy Cons: 1. i hate to sound old but this location is packed with college students all wearing their pajamas. we went at 10:30ish on a monday and it was packed. read more

The other day I was in a rush to get from one appointment to another and only had a small amount of time to eat in between. I was craving a good sandwich but I had no idea where to get one along my route on University Blvd, which is mostly filled with pizza and burger joints. A few sub shops and Mexican places are thrown in there for good measure. Aside from Panera there weren't too many places that instantly came to mind. A quick search on my phone brought up a place I hadn't been to in awhile, First Watch, and a brief overview of their menu led me to order a Reuben with a side of Cream of Chicken and Wild Rice soup. After placing the order I headed that way and was there in 20 minutes, finding my sandwich and soup ready for me. Most days I would have been ok with waiting a few minutes if I had to but the fact that it was ready when I got there that day was perfect. At first glance, this looked more like a melt than a sandwich. The marble rye bread was buttered, and it looked like it had been pressed, but the end result was more satisfying than I could have imagined. The bread was crisp, but it wasn't so crisp that you had to chew through it hard to get to the meat, in fact it basically gave way around the meat and provided enough crispiness to add varying texture and crunch but let you enjoy the deliciousness wedged inside. The corned beef, sauerkraut, swiss and thousand island dressing were proportioned perfectly, letting each add it's own flavor without overpowering the rest. This sandwich was the comfort food I needed that day. Just when I thought it couldn't get any better, I tried the soup. Suddenly I wished I had an entire soup pot full of it, and that it was about 30 degrees colder. This is the kind of soup you'd have on a cold day and it would both fill you up and leave you feeling warmer inside. Whoever came up with this recipe did this soup justice by not overdoing it with salt like most other restaurants do. The ingredients they use have the chance to "do the talking" without feeling like you're slurping down on a salt shaker. The final reason this meal left me so happy was that it only cost $7.99 + tax. Do you hear that Fresh To Order?? I can get a WHOLE sandwich and a cup of soup for less than you charge for a 1/2 sandwich 1/2 soup combo. That kind of value combined with it's amazing taste moves it from "hard to beat" to "unbeatable". Way to go First Watch! I will definitely be back for more! read more

First time here. Everything seem quite nice. Food was decent. Coffee was good. Reason for 3 star because it's just normal standard. Nothing special about the place. I could go to Ihop and it would be just great if not better. I was told the foods there was organic ? Maybe that's why for the higher price. Overall, it's not a bad place to drop by every so so often. Or to make yourself feel better because you are eating some organic made pancake. read more

Love this first watch, the employees and management have been great on multiple occasions, and always keep us coming back. The food doesn't disappoint and I love the open policy to sharing for those who know they won't eat full portions or who want to share different items. Management has been great here, the one time we had an issue he was incredibly attentive and sensitive to the situation, and made sure we didn't pay for the item and were return customers. Also went the extra mile contacting my fiance's school to get her purse back after she forgot it there that same day, very nice guy. :) read more

So many healthy options, the food is always delicious and the coffee is pretty good too. There is something for everybody on the menu, even for those with picky kids. All the staff we interacted with on our several visits here was spot on, always accommodating of our requests. I would give 5 stars but my toast and eggs arrived cold. Easy to fix though. read more

This is the last time we try to eat here. 1st time the food was good but cold. Decided to give a second chance and no different. Long wait and food cold. How do you charge 10.00 for eggs and serve them cold. I would like to have asked a show if hands how many plates were cold and nobody else had the guts to complain. We asked to speak to the manager and of course she was apologetic but it does not make up for the high cost of cold food! read more

I just finished having breakfast here. It was good. Very tasty Eggs benedict. One thing I did not like was the avocado was not prestine. It would have been nice if the side of avocados looked fresh. I first found out about first watch through yelp, it's #1 for breakfast every time I search it up. Everytime I come they always seem to top the last time I came! Such a great brunch spot with amazing service! Avocado toast will always be my favorite dish and the kale tonic is so refreshing. My family and I only wish this place was a bit closer down south but now I am able to come all the time because of school. Perfect place for a nutritious bite. The restaurant was very inviting, clean, and cozy. The staff were very attentive and provided great customer service. Love the coffee, Gluten-Free Menu options and the Day Glow orange-carrot juice. I enjoyed the French Toast made with raisin bread. Two things I didn't get to enjoy were my side dishes, the Turkey Sausages and the avocados. The sausages were a bit dry and cold and the avocados were really ripe and blackened. If you want to wait 20 minutes to be greeted this is the place for you! My SO and I arrived at 1:30 and were seated right away. The restaurant was NOT busy at all. About 20 minutes passed by so I went inside to alert them that we had yet to be greeted. Maybe 5 minutes later our server came to the table. The service was rushed and he only came to the table twice. The food was super whatever. I've been a server for two years and a half now and this just wasn't a good experience. For a restaurant that claims to have such great service and great food, it was super whatever. Don't recommend this location. read more

We were seated quite quickly but then the wait started. We sat at our table for 20 minutes without even a single glance towards our table from an employee. We were actually sitting behind the host station where there were three employees standing there conversing. Tables around us were all helped promptly while we sat there twiddling our thumbs and looking for service. After waiting an additional 5 minutes we decided to leave and go to another location where we were seated greeted and helped all within five minutes. We also called and were put on hold for another 15 minutes after requesting to speak to a manager. So in total almost an hour of our Saturday wasted waiting for help. read more

I always love coming to First Watch, even on busier days like Sunday when the church crowd comes around. Not only is the food exceptional, but the staff is friendly and attentive to guest's needs and dietary restrictions. We ordered 4 entrees (to share) and each one was great! The seasonal menu showcases squash, pumpkin, and other fall favorites in a familiar but exciting way. The pumpkin pancakes are awesome, but the fritata was out of this world! The food is super bland. We had the elevated egg sandwich and it has absolutely zero flavor. I asked for grits and they had a horrible taste. Left a bad taste in my mouth. These grits are super buttery and salty. We also ordered the veggie omelet with potatoes. The potato seasoning was bitter. Their silverware were dirty. We asked twice for new silverware and it came back dirty. I am so disappointed because we heard such positives reviews. Our experience was not positive. read more

Great time. Service was absolutely amazing. Our server was as sweet as could be and she took great care of us. Food was overall great, my boyfriend got the Florida French toast and the kiwi was not ripe and the French toast "kinda sucked" (according to him) but my omelette was amazing and the coffee was delicious. I highly recommend their fresh pressed juice. Definitely will be back. read more

I LOVE everything about this restaurant! Not only is the food delicious,hot and tasty, but the servers and environment are fabulous. I love the warm greeting I recieve everytime when I come in; family friendly and great for any occasion really. Today - poor management ? Table left un-bused for over an hour?

Every time i have gone tables have been bused very quickly due to guests coming in at the rate they did. The manager had already stopped by my table and checked in with us every time we have ate here. i've never had any problems, i love it!

I went with the sausage egg and cheese sandwich on an English muffin with a side of hash browns. The sandwich tasted very homemade and I love that! The sausage was probably my fav part. Although I asked for my hasbrowns to be crispy and they were, they also lacked flavor so next time I may ask for them to be cooked regularly!

I figured I was asking too much to ask for napkins so I stopped at a table and grabbed some paper towels from one of the rolls. Finally get to where i'm able to eat. I used to get the sliders all the time so I was excited! You get a variety and they're big sliders, like hefty! Boy was i disappointed when I opened my to-go box. The portion of meat was atleast half of what i've gotten in the past and for my pork slider it was maybe 1/3 of the meat it usually is. I ended up taking the top part of the slider bun off and eating them like open faced sandwiches because otherwise there would have been more bread than meat. Overall, 4Rivers is one of my favorite BBQ spots, I love the Messy Pig and the Six Shooter and all their desserts! I really hope I just went on off days and this isn't the new norm for 4R!

The mentaiko fries are still a must order every single visit, and for dessert you can't skip the matcha tiramisu or the taro ice cream with the hot green tea.
