This restaurant is really good. Everything is fresh from the juices to there entrees. This is one of those breakfast and brunch place where they close at 2:30pm. The entree that I got was called the pest power quinoa chicken bowl, which was very very good. Packed with protein and very filling. I also got their Day Glow juice, which had carrots, oranges, lemon and fresh ginger, this was also very good. And lastly me and the wifey shared the lemon ricotta pancakes, which again was delicious. The customer services was excellent and the food came out pretty fast as well. The only bad thing about this location is that the parking lot is to small for what is all around it. There's a lot of other restaurants and even a gym right next to it causing it to be packed with cars. So you would have to go to a different parking lot once it's packed. Pretty good breakfast!! Most especially enjoyed their pot roast hash during the holidays.. I'm super sad it's done and gone :( The place just got newly renovated... very clean, modern, fresh farm looking ambiance.. I love it.. Depending on the time and day you go there, the wait time can be ridiculous.. but it's ok.. the food makes up for the times lol.. Had a breakfast Works omelet here this morning and the portion was huge! Great coffee and I love that they leave the coffee pot on the table. Same for water. They leave the carafe to refill as you need. Food is so fresh and great quality. There is no comparison to Keke's. I tried them last week. Food wasn't as good and they had to refill coffee and water which there were times of empty glasses for us. Service here is phenomenal! Everyone was smiling and happy. They have great teamwork as another server picked up my plate and another brought more water. Highly recommend their multigrain bread! Fresh orange juice tasted so good. Will return again and highly recommend this place. I used the app to get a seat before I got there. Love that the kitchen wears gloves! Big plus for me! And the bathrooms were super clean! I love coming to this place when I'm in the mood for having an upper scale brunch after mass or some type of special occasion. Everyone is really nice and they have great customer service. First watch has lived up to my expectations! We had to wait a while to get seated but they give you free coffee while you wait. I love that they have flavored coffee creamer (French vanilla and Hazelnut). I had pecan pancakes and they were delicious but HUGE!! The wait staff was very friendly and they give you a pitcher of coffee and water at your table which is very convenient! First watch also has free wifi. I ordered my food on the phone for pick up and was told it would be ready in ten minutes. However, upon arrival i had to wait another 15 minutes for my food. When my food was finally ready the women at the front failed to noticed my food had arrived at the desk right behind her. She was pretty and had blue eyes and the gentlemen in front of her was quite a distraction and caused yet another 5 minute delay in me receiving my food. After waiting about a half hour to get my food, parts of my meal were missing. My english muffin that came with my meal wasn't there. Very concerned about this location. First Watch has typically been very good service and food. This trip I found both very lacking. I waited for about 10 minutes at the front counter after arriving without anyone acknowledging my presence. Several of the wait staff walked past while entering and leaving the kitchen. I ordered the Burrito Vera Cruz. This should be a burrito with egg, green chilli, and sausage. In the past, the additional components to the egg have been substantial. This trip, I felt like asking "where's the beef?" It was all egg with microscopic bits of sausage and limited chilli. Disappointing. read more

Food is amazing but the service has been awful. Wait staff think it's acceptable to ignore tables because there is pitcher of water on the table. Sat with an empty water pitchers and empty sodas until someone happened to pass by the table that I could grab. Also had to find servers to ask for boxes and they would come back with inappropriate containers (just a box, with no containers for yogurt etc.). Not just a one time issue, each time I've gone I've had the same bad service. They have plenty of servers and the place wasn't packed, so what's the deal? read more

First Watch has recently gone down in quality from, cold potatoes to Blueberry Pancakes containing only seven blueberries and blueberry syrup that tastes like someone put liquid smoke in it. The limited choice of bread available with its recent change in menu makes it difficult to justify one of the highest prices for breakfast in the UCF area. read more

This location is amazing! I've been to so many other first watch locations and breakfast restaurants around the university area and this one is 1) cleaner 2) brighter 3) friendlier ! Don't listen to the other reviews, they're most likely jealous iHop or KeKe's employees. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if this location put both of those chains out of business. Better pancakes, better omelets, a better atmosphere, I could go on and on.... The service at this location is better too. Ask for the taller, redheaded server--she's amazing and a lot of fun! She's served me more than once and has been there for at least a year or two--she obviously loves first watch, and it's always a good sign when the employees are happy at work. The outside seating is really peaceful, but inside it's not so bad either. It's very slow during the week so that is a great time to come with a colleague or friend. Weekends I go and they always have free coffee when there is a wait: BONUS! I have been going to this location since it opened and even though it did have a rough patch about four months ago, it has become even better than it was when it first opened its doors. I ordered the Trifecta with Floridian french toast: I got two big, fluffy slices of Floridian french toast, loaded with kiwi, banana, and strawberry, and a turkey patty and two scrambled egg whites---that's the other thing, NO up charge for egg whites! Amazing! Overall, in comparison with Keke's I have found that first watch 1)gives you a whole coffee pot, whereas Kekes only gives you a tiny cup 2) the potatoes at Kekes are greasy, whereas these are healthier and tastier and 3) the pancakes and waffles are so much better, they're multigrain but they taste just like buttermilk. They aren't too heavy---I found the pancakes at Keke's to be very thick and pasty. read more

Terrible service. I asked to sit outside & had no problem waiting for the tables to be cleared. Once the tables were cleaned, someone else who came in after me was seated first. Once seated, I ordered & received my orange juice but needed a minute to look over the menu. A minute turned into 20 minutes of waiting for the waiter to come back & take my order. We were about to get our table and we were told the next available was for us. Then the lady acted like we had just shown up and put us in the back of the 45 minute queue after already waiting 30 minutes. Better communication is needed between staff and customers. My wife and I had breakfast this morning at the UCF location. There was a wait, but they provided coffee during the wait. The service was excellent, but the food was disappointing. My wife had the blueberry pancakes while I had the Sour Dough French Toast. I would have ordered the pancakes but they only offered whole grain. My wife normally eats everything with gusto but did not care for the pancakes which came apart on her plate. The French Toast was a little better but not much. We both prefer the pancakes and French Toast from Perkins. read more

Ummm,WOW...I hadn't been to First Watch for over a year. I typically hang out at other brunch spots like Briar Patch . However my mother had a coupon "buy one get one" so we went . I have to say their menu has changed significantly, the food was superb! I had a party in my mouth, and that is an understatement! I had the morning veg omelette , I typically don't like all of those ingredients (really just mushrooms) but it was extremely delicious and I do thoroughly enjoy goat cheese. The breakfast potatoes were brilliant by itself. I try to stay away from gluten however the bread was also excellent by itself. The server was kind and wonderful! My mother is typically hard to please and she enjoyed her salmon something or other omelette with avocado. I liked the Ambiance, the industrial Chic thing going on . I would highly recommend this to a friend and or Yelp stranger. We will continue to go there quite frequently! read more

Great breakfast, we used to go to the Dr Phillips location, but now go to the University one. Great service always, food is always fresh and well made. My husband loves the Trifecta, I always get the Avocado, Tomato, and Bacon skillet, it's delicious, but you have to ask for a side of their Veracruz sauce, it's like a creamy salsa. So good on eggs. Definitely our go-to place for breakfast. Fair pricing as well. Good choices for the little ones too, like crepes with fruit, pancakes, and healthy sandwiches. We've never tried them for lunch, but their salads and sandwiches look really tasty. Oh, and be prepared to wait on the weekends, but worth it! You get free coffee while you wait:) read more
