I was absolutely unimpressed. I had heard so much about this place so I scheduled a meeting with a colleague. Parking was terrible but when I got in, the place was so cute. Totally Instagramable but I was here for a meeting. My server was slow and seemingly absent-minded. My guest and I told him that it was our first time and he just said "oh...okay. I'll give you more time." Walked away for a good 20 minutes. We thought he has left for the day so we had someone else take our order. Didn't even catch his name be he never told us. Likewise, as soon as we got out food he says "How is everything", we hadn't even gotten silverware so you tell me smh. We just nodded and smiled to keep polite but we were so annoyed. I took a chance and ordered the Chickichanga. The description sounded bomb but it was a total flop. Cold, flavorless and I was honestly just over it. My guest had to send her food back because her bacon was so burnt, when she picked it up it broke. smh Then our server disappeared for another 40 minutes or so. No refills on our water, nothing. We were ready to go and went to the counter to pay. I still tipped him because I respect waiters but my goodness, I hope he was just having an "off" day because he was awful. To make matters worse, there was construction going on with the LOUDEST drills I've ever heard. I left hungry with a headache. All around just a not-so-great experience. Really surprised this place only gets 3.5 stars. Jill and I were looking for breakfast after Easter Mass and decided to give First Watch a try. Our server was awesome. She suggested a slight change to what was on the menu and it was just perfect for what I like to eat. I had a variation of the Tri-fecta and enjoyed French toast, bacon and two scrambled eggs. Goodness, GREAT place for a filling weekend breakfast out. I wanted to try someplace new and I think I may have found another Sunday mid morning spot. I'm the kind of person who goes into a new place and asks what the best seller is and what my server's favorite menu item is. Annamaria recommended the Bacado - a perfectly cooked omelet with bacon AND avocado. Oh, and they serve lemon dressed greens with their breakfasts. Such a wonderful way to start the day. She was very attentive and I sincerely appreciate her attention to customer service. Eating at the community table was nice, as well. Though I was dining alone, I felt as though I was eating a weekend breakfast (usually special) with family. This was quite a nice experience, so much so that I may have to remove a star from a different breakfast place I reviewed. I'll be back - THANK YOU My 1 and only negative critique is the coffee. First time I ordered from uber eats, I didn't get the fruit that comes with the chikichanga. The food is really tasty. Anyway, so the second time I ordered I called to make sure I would and the size of the container they have made me and my mom laugh. I just know this isn't the portion you get in the restaurant. It is replacing all the egg and I resturaunts and if your looking for a typical southern style breakfast this is not the place for you. The food was cool not hot and is all very health conscience. I visited today for the soft opening and had the Chickichanga with Potatoes and the Sunrise Meditation drink. My daughter had the energy bowl with peanut butter toast. The food was pretty good, it was brought out cool which I prefer my food HOT. The potatoes were wayy too salty for my liking, next time I'll ask for no seasoning. The food was great! I liked that it was unique stuff that I wouldn't really make at home. The service was very slow though. I think they didn't have the proper amount of servers for the number of tables bc our waitress wasn't bad just overwhelmed I guess. We will be back. Hopefully with faster service though. This place isn't the best brunch spot per say but the food is edible. I got the breakfast sandwich with potatoes. The sandwich was great but the potatoes were a bit over cooked. I also got the grits and they were overly grainy and dry. I don't know if I got the wrong dish but I wasn't impressed. First Watch is my FAVORITE breakfast place!! I always get the trifecta, with the French toast and MILLION DOLLAR BACON! I love the bacon! My mouth is watering just thinking about it! My friend and I came into the restaurant to check this place out because we were told it was amazing. Sadly enough, we didn't get a great experience. We ordered eggs Benedict and it came out cold (both dishes). The only thing that came out warm were the biscuits and gravy. We were not asked if we wanted our food to come out altogether or whichever was done first. The server wasn't attentive. And once she dropped off the check, she completely disappeared.
