We ordered the fresh juice, some meals were over by the time the juice came, it was a mess. Yesterday I came around 12:40, when we walked in the two girls at the front said it would be a 20 minute wait. She took my phone number to be alerted when the table would be ready. It was crowded and my elderly mother cannot stand long, so we walked back to our car. I got the confirmation that I was on the list. We waited for an hour, no alert. We left. First time at First Watch. We were warmly greeted and seated immediately. Our waiter Justin was very helpful making detailed recommendations from the menu. I decided on the market skillet hash with poached eggs and my wife had the traditional breakfast with scrambled eggs and bacon. The food was very good except for a couple of minor misses in execution. My wife's eggs were a bit dry and cold and the toast needed more time to toast. I love the variety of Benedict's and the whole grain pancakes are tasty. The food is fresh and Yelp worthy! Not to mention you can have a little taste of heaven right at home. I used the Yelp wait list feature to secure my place in line at First Watch on a Sunday after church. Imagine my disappointment when I arrived and there were people who were seated before my husband and I - despite the fact I received a text that our table was ready :( After I said something to the hostess, she apologized and took us immediately to our seats. I rushed off to the bathroom while my husband ordered beverages. The bathroom was disgusting (see pictures). This was not what you want to see right before sitting down to a meal. Our food arrived hot and tasted good. We both ordered standard breakfast items, however, the restaurant has a large menu with brunch/lunch items. This franchise is tucked away in a corner of a shopping plaza, so it is a little difficult (but not impossible) to find if you don't know your way. Today we visited First Watch for the first time around 2pm. I had the Floridian French Toast, he had the Chickichanga which also came with little home fries. This was my second visit for breakfast at First Watch. The location is small compared to other breakfast/brunch location but the wait was only 15 minutes. The menu has wide variety of options. In addition to the standard menu they have a seasonal menu. I had the pumpkin pancake breakfast which was reasonably priced and came with 2 eggs and a chicken sausage patty. The egg can be cooked anyway you like The pumpkin pancake was perfect. It was the size of the plate. It wasn't too sweet and the pumpkin flavor was not overpowering. They do not sell cocktails but they have a nice juice selection. I had the morning mediation which was delicious. The waitress leaves the bill on the table and you pay at the register. I left the tip on the table and noticed that a different person cleared the table. I told the cashier who was short and almost rude but she said that it would be given to our waitress. Out waitress was great so I hope she got the tip. I'll certainly return but next time I'll put the tip in the waitresses hand. read more

We were given two large bags, and as soon as we got back to the house, we realized one dish was missing. We called, and it was right in the counter. They were very apologetic, and when I went back to get it, they said it was already refunded to my credit card (without asking). I thought that was necessary, but good customer service that it was done without asking. When I got back to finally eat, I found out what all the hype was about. The avocado toast was delicious and the sunny side up eggs were a great touch! The elevated egg sandwich was amazing!!! I don't do pork, so I subbed the bacon with chicken sausage. The flavor on this sandwich was soooooo good!! The potatoes were a great addition! The pancakes are big enough for a meal themselves! The carrot cake and blueberry pancakes were both formidable. We know they can get busy,so we did an on-line call ahead as instructed,we did the call ahead 30 minutes on advance. We'll, either everyone else standing around outside had done the on-line thing, or it means nothing. Because EVERY person outside was taken before us. I asked the cashier when we would be called, and she said:OH-SOON. 10 minutes later we were seated. Our server ran by and said she would be with us SOON. Another 20 min we were given water. 10 min after that we got coffee. Another 15 min, our order was taken. We were near the area where the carry out bags were placed. Bag after bad was placed in that area, while VERY little food was taken to the tables of thd other diners. At one point we counted ~ 12 bags of in a row taken from the kitchen and put in the food delivery - carry out area. It had now been an hour since we ordered. They were obviously giving carry out preferences over in-person dining. We asked our server when our food would come out, and she said SOON. 15 minutes later 2 of our dishes came out.another 10 minutes later 2 more.and so on till finally everyone was served. Some of the dishes were wrong, but at this point we were hesitant to send anything back, for fear another hour spent in the restaurant. THEN THE ULTIMATE-we asked the cashier if 3 of us could split the check.NO PROBLEM she claimed. We proceeded to put a different credit card in when she told us to. Figuring it possibly wasn't all the servers fault, we each put a 20% ltip on each transaction. BUT the final bill was 60% higher than it should have been. We asked the cashier how that was possible and she just shrugged. We asked for the manager. We were told she was busy. We said we would wait, and stepped aside. When the manager came by, she tried to tell the cashier what to do. Finally the MGR told the cashier to step aside, reversed the charges and fixed the problem.
