So this is a super generic, boujee breakfast spot. Like you come here to show your friends that you go out and are at the very least are somewhat cultured.. for stone oak. The food is super mid, kinda wack. Servers are tight though. This is Karen central so be on the lookout if you swing by. This is the perfect spot though to sell Girl Scout cookies outside of. But for real the jelly is the same at McDonald's, the potatoes are burnt to high hell, the eggs. You can make the same eggs at home, overall can't recommend this spot for breakfast. read more

This is one of my favorite breakfast places! Their food is super fresh and always tastes great. It's always busy so I'd suggest checking in ahead of time. Normally one of my fav places for breakfast. Usually split between this one at Sonterra and the 281/BrookHollow. Both usually really good. Today at Sonterra location, not so. Order was wrong, no big deal..fixed on spot. But then bacon was cold and sort of looked and felt like they probably tried to microwave it or something...just wasn't normal I've become accustomed to over years. Not sure if they just rushed through it or what. Staff was nice, so not a reflection on them. This is Just feedback to help you keep your standards high. read more

Oh my word, this restaurant gave me the urge of giving it a 0 star. My boy BRENT was not having a good day or something. He had quite an attitude golly. I used to love this restaurant but now is HORRIBLE!! They wasn't that busy to be so lazy. First my spoon was dirty, the bathroom was nasty, then I order Benedict eggs were over cook. So I ask for new eggs and the sauce was awful: looks like was water down, no flavor, no emulsify at all. My husband's potatoes were under cook as well. When the waitress brought my plate, 2 sec later she gave us the check. My breakfast was a JOKE!!!! Looks like the manager wasn't there. I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT AT ALL!!! I'm really disappointed and really MAD!!! We will NEVER come back to this place. read more

I was sent to order my food online instead and of course there is an up charge on everything online and the Ala cart items I wanted weren't available to order. Frustrating. Went there with my family. I had been to one in Ohio and that restaurant was amazing. This location, however, was awful. It wasn't very busy, but. We had to wait forever just to be seated. Finally we were assigned a table and then no one ever waited on us. We sat there for 20 minutes. Kept asking if we could have coffee. Always the answer was yes. No one ever brought any coffee. The worst part was there were about 5 guys in the conference room next to us that seemed like maybe they were the owners having a business meeting. They sat and watched all of this. And did nothing. Maybe you should stop having meetings about how you can run your business and actually RUN your business. Then. As we were leaving, a waitress says, 'you pay here.' ?!?! We didn't eat here because you didn't wait on us here so we have nothing to pay for here. We left and went to the Local Coffee shop next door. They treated us warmly. I highly recommend them. As for First Watch. They don't watch. And they would not be my first choice. Hope you have better luck with them than I did. read more

I ordered the hash but It had ranch potatoes in it. Hash is supposed to have hashbrowns. There were way too many caramelized onions and the flavor was very bland. The biscuits were dry and tasteless the sausage gravy was OK. I had my food delivered and it was absolutely cold when I got it. I wouldn't order from here again read more

I don't like to frequent chains while I travel but this was a safe bet while in San Antonio. Service was slow (but very nice and let me try samples of the juice options). Food was alright. I ordered the millionaire's bacon & cinnamon roll waffles while my husband ordered the BLT eggs Benedict. The millionaire's bacon seemed burnt. My husband said his meal was just okay. My waffles were yummy, however, the portion is pretty small. I asked if I can have cinnamon roll French toast, instead of waffles and they said no. Ehh, French toast was ok. I asked for bacon to be crispy and it was. Unfortunately it was stone cold as well, the waitress said she would fix it two minutes later she brought back bacon that was basically uncooked. The syrup dispenser was uncomfortably slow (I know that's kinda knit-picky but it really sucked) I'll give it another try as I went around closing time and maybe they were off there game because they were getting ready to leave. First Watch use to be The Egg and I but be prepared, it is nothing like the Egg and I. Atmosphere - The remodel is excellent, looks great. Menu - Do not like this menu. I really had to search to find something that appealed to me but that's my opinion, everyone has different tastes, you may like this "LA" style menu. Dining room - staff is OK, not overly friendly. I have dined here twice, first time, I had a problem with my food, the server asked to correct the problem, the second visit, I had a food problem, the server just said "oh" and walked off. Kitchen - this is where the biggest problem is. On both dining experiences, my food has come out warm, almost cold. Food is flavorless. The avocados on my Bacado were brown. My grits were so hard, sticky and lumpy, that no amount of butter could save them. Lets face it, we go to a restaurant for the food, the food has to be good. Too pricey for bad food. This company just entered the Texas market and is going through some growing pains. The food quality can improve, staff can improve, but menu selection will always be the same. So we came here after church thinking it was still The Egg and I. So glad this was still a place to get breakfast because we were starving. We had the Eggs Benedict, the Parma Skillet Hash, and simple 2 scrambled eggs w/ bacon, potatoes & toast. We had to wait for a table and they said it would be 20 min, but we were seated within 15 min. The decor inside is nice and everything is clean, but the tables could be a little more spaced apart. When people sit down, it's hard to get past them when you have to get up to go to the bathroom or leave (and I'm a 130lb girl saying this). The dishes are plated nicely and everything was tasty. I'll return again, hopefully when there are less people to squeeze by. read more

Just found my favorite new breakfast spot! Server was friendly and attentive. Food was fresh and delicious. Started off with a glass of Kale Tonic and the color of the drink was as bright as the taste. I was not expecting it to be that good! I ordered a Belgian waffle and it was light and airy, pork sausage link had a crisp casing and was full of flavor. I ordered a side biscuit and it was buttery and flaky and so so good. Lastly, the menu is very fairly priced. We ate to our complete satisfaction, and indeed were pleasantly full when we finished our meal, all for under $30! My daughter had avocado toast and scrambled eggs, I tasted the avocado spread and it was delish. The only problem we had was the soda, the diet coke was flat and I'm a diet coke fiend. My wife and I come here regularly. We always share a skillet and a side of biscuits and gravy. They have really good fresh juices. The million dollar bacon is legit. They can get very busy on the weekends. Luckily you can add yourself to the waitlist via yelp. They do not take reservations. My wife and I went early Sunday morning for breakfast and were very surprised there was no line at all. The service we received was good though it did seem the food took a little long to come to the table. My poached eggs on the pork belly bacon and grits were slightly over cooked but the whole dish was very good. We got a side of the millionaire bacon which was easily my favorite thing. My wife loved her chikicanga and the side of potatoes were delicious. I would definitely go back and look forward to trying other things on the menu. read more
