Solid brunch experience but not spectacular. Very clean restaurant. We were seated promptly upon arrival on a Sunday no less. The menu sounds very enticing, but somehow it just doesn't deliver on its promises. Start with the million dollar bacon for example. Good premise, I love candied bacon, it's sweet and savory at the same time. However, the cut of meat used could've been thicker. Definitely needed to be crispier, a bit soggy or undercooked. My gold standard is OPH bacon. Thick and right amount of crisp and chew. Chickichanga was good, but again didn't blow me away. Mine was served at a luke warm temp for starters. I'm also accustomed to brunches that you don't clean your plate on. Portions seemed small-ish to me. Flavors were solid. 3 star experience. After not being a favorable fan, I was enticed to give First Watch another chance, thank you to corporate. This time because we were in the area we tried this location. I'm happy to say the service was very good. We came here for breakfast. I ordered the Eggs Benedict - Florentine (again) and my friend ordered a Bacon Cheese Omelet, both coming with a side salad of Mixed Greens. The Eggs Benedict was prepared better, the eggs were poached more runnier than before. All in all much improved than my last experience. If you are looking for a more healthier version of breakfast, low sodium, no spice, then this is the place. It's good but healthy. Everything was homemade. Including the orange juice. Order their bacon, its like nothing else. Absolutely delicious

Do not know where they took the food pictures shown for this first watch, but nothing we saw or received approached what is shown. The help and servers did the best they could, but the quality and taste were very poor. Find it to be the case with these chain bacon and egg places. Ordered salmon eggs benedict. Sounds great right? Showed up less than room temp with the smallest eggs anyone at our table has ever seen. And did I mention they used bread instead of a muffin or biscuit? Top it off with tasteless hollandaise obviously out of a bag with no butter. And then put in a couple tablespoons of salmon and you end up with a pathetic $20 meal. Asked about the lack of fish and was told "They weigh it so that's what you get." Must have had their thumb on the scale. So our 2 meals came to $45. We did receive more than ample apologies. Please. If your salmon is expensive, charge more and let's have some salmon. My wife's was also cold and tasteless. read more

My wife & I came for breakfast on a Saturday morning in June -and we were able to be seated right away. I'm Celiac and need gluten-free options and there were the usual options at most breakfast places which was good. I got the Bacado Omelette with basil pesto and a side salad and fruit. The Omelette was a 3-egg Omelette and very good, but the fruit portion was pretty small. My wife got the yogurt granola bowl and was happy with it. It came with a lot of fruit and subbed out the muffin for almond butter toast. She said it was all very good and a solid amount of food. We'll be back soon! read more

Busy Fathers Day Sunday. Long wait to be expected. Our server was very nice, and I would say that the breakfast was just Ok. Nothing special. The thing that disgusted my wife & me was the condition of their restrooms. They were all disgusting and filthy. Having restrooms that cater to both sexes is not ideal. People in general today are not considerate, and throw their trash all over the place. No seat covers for my wife. People are pigs, and the restaurant evidently couldn't keep up with the cleanliness issues. Why don't we get over the whole WOKE thing, and make the restrooms for Men & Women. When I go into a restaurant or office building and see the condition of the restroom facilities, that tells me a lot about how the business is run. This one, not so good! If you do continue to use unisex bathrooms, please provide seat covers for the ladies, as they do not like sitting on toilet seats that have urine all over them! read more

First Watch is a casual, reasonably priced breakfast and lunch spot. I've never dined in but have gotten takeout from them frequently. They have traditional breakfast as well as healthy bowl-type options. Though I haven't loved everything I've gotten, it's hard to beat the convenience factor-- estimates are always under 15 minutes and it's often ready before. Horrible service. Called ahead to make sure dogs are allowed, and they said yes. Upon arrival, they said no dogs are allowed on the patio. I had an encounter with 2 very rude people. They also made up a location name, even when I asked multiple times if this is on Scottsdale and near Hayden. The environment was horrible. Would not recommend, with or without dogs. I have ordered an extra taco with the breakfast tacos for the last 7 years at first watch and am always rung up for a side of protein. Today, instead of telling us they will not be able to offer an extra taco due to the inability to account for it, Jill told us we were lying and no one at first watch has ever allowed an extra taco to be rung up before. This place was super cute in general. Although the actual booths and built in seating styles seemed to not match the rest of the decor. My guess is that they did not renovate the interior except for the walls when moving in. (I was told it used to be a different breakfast place) I was coming for brunch with my family on a Sunday afternoon. I pulled up my yelp app to get directions and good thing I did because the app told me there was a 30 minute wait but I could reserve my spot online (thanks yelp!!). I checked us in and it gave me around 20 minutes to get there and check in with the hostess. After checking in person we only waited about 5 minutes. They left a jug of water and a coffee cup at our table. Nice touch! I loved that. I got a triathlete omelet (it was called something along those lines) and it was delicious. I totally forgot to take a picture because of how hungry I was and how delicious it looked!! At the time that I went it was definitely an older crowd. Most of the restaurant was guests of over 60 years old. Overall it was delicious food, decent service, plenty of menu options, a bit mixed in the ambiance, but busy.
