We LOVE first watch. There is always a pretty long wait but we use the mobile app and by the time we arrive to the restaurant we are getting seated! I have to say that for always being so full they flip the tables very fast all while main ting good service. Highly recommend. The pancakes are out of this world. I had just spent 3 days on the road driving down from NY and wanted a breakfast place that served healthy options. I was drawn by the positive reviews already offered. I also think the free coffee while you wait is a delightful touch. I was told I might have a 30-40 minute wait. But I was seated within 15 minutes. My food was very good. And it arrived fairly quickly, especially given how busy the place was. I'll be back. My only suggestion for improvement is for my server... It doesn't hurt to smile every now and then. He was polite & efficient. But he wasn't very friendly. read more

I really enjoyed this brunch with husband and parents. I've gone maybe three times so far and good has always been superb. So why the 4 stars?... you're probably thinking... Well I must say the only cons is the extremely long wait time to be seated and lack of seats for guests to wait for their seats. So basically be prepared to stand for 20+ minutes while you're waiting to eat the delicious food. Also what made the 4 versus 5 stars is one experience I had with my husband and mother. We took my mother for her birthday and our waitress was horrible (e.g., forgetting to ask us for drinks, not coming around our table at all, having slight attitude, etc.) I had to apologize to my mother that time especially because it was her birthday....well at least we enjoyed the food!!!:) read more

Received 3 stars because my meal was great. The food was hot and delicious. The service however was not good. The only thing the waiter/waitress was shift about was getting my check back. Otherwise I sat for several minutes when I first sat down, without being acknowledged. Staff members passed by my table but didn't offer any service for several minutes. When I did get my food, I needed salt and pepper which again getting someone to look my way or acknowledge me was difficult. I ended up eating the food without the salt and pepper only because of the lack of good service. The restaurant was not packed at all. I didn't go during peak hours so I felt as though my server could have passed by my table a couple of times to see if I needed anything. Or any server for that matter. You could tell it's a restaurant where each server is assigned a certain section or table. Overall I would order again but likely take out. read more

The food here was good but the air conditioning was ridiculously cold. (Just for context I have never felt the need to write a yelp review based on air conditioning before). Hard to enjoy the food while shivering. Also, I appreciated all of the healthy options on the menu, but in my opinion, a restaurant that touts itself for its healthy options should offer dairy alternatives such as soy milk, almond milk, etc. I was dismayed that the only alternatives for my coffee were artificially flavored creamers. read more

Best Breakfast Chain going anywhere in the country. Is this company publicly traded? Buy their stock. This is my go to breakfast place when I'm hungry. Good quality and good value. Kitchen is open and looks clean everytime I walk by. Even their coffee is above-average (better than diner quality coffee). They leave the carafe on the table, so you can keep your own coffee hot. Nice! I would like some more muffin choices. It's always the same: blueberry or lemon poppy. Get there early. Lines start at 8 or 8:30 am. Worth the wait. read more

The avocado, bacon omelette with salsa and sour cream was great! Everything had a wonderful look and they serve nice portions. The staff was friendly and accommodating. My only complaint was the blueberry pancakes. They lacked the light fluffiness the makes a pancake great and they need more blueberries. Hey guys lets get down to business. Everyone seems to enjoy your food and atmosphere but I'm here to tell them the truth. This place is overpriced, has awful food, and terrible service. Let's start out with the prices. Well as I take a look at your website you seem to post none of the prices along with the dishes you say you are able to serve. This is just part of your scam. Instead of telling your customers the price of your below average food before they are able to head into restaurant you spring your jacked up dishes on them once they are seated and under pressure of the restaurant staff. Now let's talk about the dishes. I've been to this establishment about 4 or 5 times because I'm willing to give people chances unlike the women in my life. I've tried your "million dollar bacon", "the traditional", "tri-fecta", and finally your "chocolate chip pancakes". I was underwhelmed by all of these dishes. The food was brought out slow, my bacon had been burnt, the pancakes were cold, and my eggs were an inconsistent texture. Failure to make simple dishes has been reflected in the star rating that you have received. I believe in second chances and so I am willing to give you a fifth but just make sure that next time you guys get it right. Some people say breakfast is the most important meal of the day but you guys don't seem to give a damn about the quality of product you are trying to sell. The opportunity cost of eating is not eating and on days when I have the opportunity to eat from your lousy establishment I'd rather not eat. But I am willing to give you one final chance but after that let's just say your days are numbered. read more

I love this place! The concept is like what I'm used to. I am from California where breakfast doesn't mean swimming in lard and gravy! Finding a bistro that can perfectly poach an egg is a " real find" East of the Mississippi! I had the spinach eggs benny, perfection! My 22 year old son had a breakfast skillet and had to ask for a to go box because he couldn't eat it all. It was also nice to have a nice quiet brunch where there was no liquor being served. This is a great place to take a client and seal the deal during the week. We went to North shore and I can't wait to go again! If you order coffee, they bring you a craffe for refills. We sat awhile at the table, another waitress was standing and talking nearby Thor 10 minutes. Our came and dropped off food and said she would be back, she came out with coffee and went back to the kitchen, came out again and on the way stopped at another table and ten another table who asked for coffee so instead of telling them he would be right back, she left the coffee and went back to the kitchen. Third times the charm, she finally came with the coffee and asked if we knew what we wanted to order? Well 8 minutes after 12 minute wait, we know what we want.
