Food seems unchanged from the Egg and I, and is still good. However, decor is dark, seats are uncomfortable, prices seem to have risen a bit, and it is now very noisy. Service was a little off, but that's probably because they had to hire a new staff because of time off during renovation. If you are unaccompanied, there is a good chance you will be seated at a bar seat across from someone else. It has gone from comfortable and cozy to dark and hectic. I have a nut allergy and I had the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes. The cooks were able to make all of my food completely nut free. On top of that the batter is whole grain so it is healthier than most. These pancakes were the best breakfast I've had in my whole life! That is why I give First Watch 5 stars. read more

Went with my husband on Friday 8-3-2018 for breakfast. Worst meal EVER!!! We won't be going back! I ordered Eggs Benedict but with scrambled eggs instead of fried. What I got was a scrambled egg in disguise. It was actually a fried egg chopped with hollandaise sauce thrown on top. I even complained when I paid my bill. The cashier said that the cook had done this before and that he would talk to him. They didn't even offer to refund my money. read more

Great service, great options, and great value of food. I was delighted to find out about a First Watch location near where I work (having moved here from the northeast where they have more locations). The quality is the same, if not better than the northeast locations. Everything from free coffee while you wait to menu selections is pretty consistent. The tri-athelete, and the veg'd out are our favorites, but other options look good as well....for egg eating vegetarians, plenty of options! My only con (and it is a huge con!) is that for a breakfast place, they do not offer espresso! Come on First Watch, you need to at least start offering a stronger selection of various coffees (mine was watered down during my visit). However this doesn't warrant a 1 star deduction. read more

We usually come on Sunday's but this is my first time writing a review on them. The atmosphere is nice, the menu is very healthy and light. I'm having the Bacon and Onion Hash, but I always substitute the bacon for ham. It is the best! This restaurant is worth while trying. They are only open for breakfast. My husband and I have enjoyed First Watch in a few different states. Food and service was almost always excellent or at least good. Our first visit to the Sunrise location was exceptional. We were well greeted, 6/9/16- our wait for a table was reasonable. The restaurant was very clean including the bathroom. Our waitress Nicole was friendly and helpful. The food was served hot and perfectly prepared. The feel of this place is reflected by the people that work there. I asked Nicole if I could speak with the manager. When he came and introduced himself I immediately new that his personality was key in this restaurant. He was very friendly and it was a pleasure for my husband and I to give Rich (the manager) and his staff of professionals a big thumbs up. We will bring our friends next time. read more

First Watch is my favorite neighborhood restaurant to go for breakfast. It is far and away better than "pancake chains" and more reasonable than the trendy and overpriced brunch spots in the Las Olas area. Unless you want to spend an hour in line getting hangry, I highly suggest you use the No Wait app and arrive just as your table is ready. It can be very frustrating to go to First Watch if you are unaware that everyone uses No Wait to get in line for a table. I always order the Traditional or the Trifecta even though the whole menu sounds mouth watering. The coffee is usually so-so but at least they leave the whole carafe on the table for refills. The staff is usually very friendly and efficient and the food usually gets to the table rapidly. Took my mom to this place for brunch. Was excited to try this new place. Honestly, I was disappointed by the food options--I am not a fan of whole-grain anything and quinoa salads, but I get that some people like that stuff. It looked good and healthy, colorful, etc. The French Toast was decent. He service, however, left a lot to be desired. We were not asked if we had a seating preference, the server only came to take our drink order and food orders--did not check in at all, refill our drinks, or even bring us the check, until prompted. We waited a little over an hour for a table on Sunday morning, which was expected so no issue there. However, when we sat down to look at our menus, our server immediately asked what we're having. We ordered our drinks, but requested more time with the menu. She walked back over twice within 2 minutes, so we just went ahead and rushed our choices. The food itself was just okay. Not at all what we had hoped for with the anticipation and long wait. Burnt potatoes, dry eggs, over ripe fruit...to name just a few disappointments. But the worst part of our experience had to be the rushing from the server. From the time we sat down to the time we paid our check, only 35 minutes had past. The unfortunate thing is, that she rushed us for no reason. The line of people waiting ended before we left, so there were plenty of open tables. The food is great but is not consistent in all of their restaurants. Had to update my review because even though their food is good they are not accommodating when it comes to making reservations - you can only do this through one app only. If your service is not working or your signal is bad , you cannot make a reservation. They will not take reservations by phone and so they tell you to walk in wait and be at the mercy of customer demand , if demand is low you wait a few minutes if demand is high then you will sit there and wait a long time while anyone who was able to make the reservation through their app keeps walking in front of you. NOT customer friendly. read more

Omg!!! I just found a new secret brunch spot, and it's only 2 mins away from all my outlet stores. Had the best avocado sandwich with egg whites, and the best 'millionaire' bacon I have ever eaten. This is the 4th First Watch in Florida that I've dined at, and this one, like the others, did not disappoint. Standard breakfast/brunch/lunch fare, served from 7:30AM to 2:30PM daily. If you arrive between 10AM and 1PM on a weekend, do not be discouraged by the long wait outside. Take it as a testament to the quality of food you will receive, and trust me, the line moves quickly. Just use the idle time to look at the menu and make some decisions. As far as the menu is concerned, you have a variety to choose from: sweet and savory to please both the health-nuts and the over-indulgers. Portions are large, ingredients are fresh, and the quality is high (I stuffed myself with the eggs benedict and left feeling full, but not sluggish and greased up like I would coming out of an IHOP or Denny's). Service is always attentive, and time the arrival of your food from order placement - I've never had to wait longer than 10 minutes. Favorite breakfast spot. read more

One of my favorite breakfast places. I like it because they have different choices that really can't be found many other places and healthier alternatives which you are not charged extra for. I am only giving it 4 stars because my boyfriend says they don't give you enough food. I am on a diet so I look at it like they are trying to help me out. They just have fun choices and the best strawberry yogurt ever. So far I have tried the Siesta Key Cocktail(parfait) and the Fresh fruit crepes and they were both yummy. Today I had the special(they have a new cool one everyday) apple cinnamon pancake with egg beaters and turkey sausage. My only complaint would be that the pancake was lacking in the apple department. I saw a waitress touching all the toasted bread in the kitchen with her bare hands and wiping her nose with that same hand (no tissue). Most of the waitresses used tongs, so at least it was just one. There was also black floating flakes in the water. It was probably seeds from the bread, but that's still not pleasant. The food was decent and the coffee was good. Don't you check before you put it in the bag or is it because I'm leaving and you won't have to worry about it. So stupidly, I have heard the name before but always thought it was an urgent care center-not really sure where I got that from (hangs head in shame). However coming from boot camp and craving something good, this seemed like a favorite with yelpers. I can totally see why that is and why this place had a 75 minute wait and seem pretty crowded. The manager was rude and pushy with no interest in customer service or assisting her staff that was running around. Told first of a 35 to 40 minute wait and checked at 35 minutes because the waitlist app showed a change from 18 parties ahead to 15 parties ahead.
