    Power Wrap
    Val S.

Stopped in for breakfast with no reservation and were sat immediately on a Sunday morning. Our server went through the seasonal menu and answered any questions we had. The power wrap was delicious and filling. The pancake came with warm syrup, which was amazing. I would recommend trying the health juices, as those were tasty as well.

We have been to First Watch many times before and in different states. Their food is always consistently good. Today we didn't have too much to wait. We checked in before we arrived and it said it was a 20 minute wait when we arrived we checked in again and they said we still had a 20-25 min wait. We asked to sit bar seating and we were seated right away. We ordered our usual TriFecta with a Belgian Waffle. My husband's waffle was not cooked enough and not crispy at all so he sent it back and they happily made him a new plate. My waffle was cooked well however everything in my plate was cold already. All in all I've had better experiences at First Watch. Our waitress was very nice, helpful and quick to serve.

Great casual breakfast spot. It was busy but the staff was hustling to get people seated and served quickly. Our server was wonderful, attentive, and had great recommendations. From the seasonal menu we started with the cinnamon roll topped with lemon glaze and gold. For my main dish I had the elevated egg sandwich which was delicious and filling. It came with a side of potatoes that were nice and crispy. The menu is pretty big so definitely something for everyone.

I usually love first watch so decided to stop at this one during a recent trip. Even though it was busy, the wait wasn't too long. However, the place was pretty small. I felt like we were sitting on top of the table next to us. People kept bumping into my chair when I was eating (guests and staff). My eggs Benedict was not great. Usually I like them runny and flavorful and this one was so cooked, the yolk was hard. I barely ate it. Wasn't a great experience overall.

The food is always delicious here and their specials are always so unique and tasty. We got the carrot and pecan pancakes, lemon ricotta pancakes, million dollar bacon, eggs Benedict Florentine, and the elevated egg sandwich. Everything was cooked to perfection and they gave us such attentive service asking the way. We went late on a Saturday morning and the dining room was packed yet the food still came out quickly!

Delicious multigrain pancakes that doesn't even taste multigrain! 2 is the right amount for a full meal- don't be fooled by the menu warning to consider the size! All the staff are nice and friendly; service is good; atmosphere is lovely.

Entrance - super comfy with all the wood and farm feel.

Please check out this breakfast place! It's worthy it all around. I started off with a morning meditation juice, which was a real delight. Then we had the fruit bowl, the breakfast tacos, and all of it was very pleasing. Service was extremely well and the farm atmosphere and decoration really makes this a very comfortable breakfast spot. Well done.

First Watch is always a solid choice for breakfast or brunch. The service is friendly, the food is consistently delicious across all the locations and it's priced decent. There are to many good menu choices. I pair whatever I get with the dressed greens. Something about that simple dressing is soooo good. The lemon ricotta pancakes are my go to, Bacado is a close second with the avacado toast. The only and I mean only downside is that you can't do a boozy brunch here as they don't have alcohol. Also, do yourself a favor and try the million dollar bacon.

Exceptional breakfast and a very kind and efficient server. The trifecta was delicious. Best pancake I've ever had!Lots of healthy options. Generous portions. Easy parking. We will be back!

    Chile chorizo omelet

It's a fine place for a reasonably healthful brunch, but there's nothing extraordinary here. First Watch is a chain of breakfast-lunch restaurants that serves traditional, American breakfasts as well as some healthier items. I ordered a decaf coffee and the chile chorizo omelet. I was told that they were out of decaf and more was being brewed. The waitress poured me the last of the decaf (one-third of a cup of lukewarm coffee) and said she'd bring me the fresh coffee when it was done. They must have been brewing a tankard truck of coffee as I did not get more coffee until I had finished my meal. I was not offered water or regular coffee while I was waiting. So I was very thirsty as I didn't really care to linger to drink my coffee after I ate my food. I liked the different sweetener choices for my coffee but was disappointed that First Watch uses those International House disposible creamers and that most of the creamers in the bowl were flavored. Yuck. How about a tiny pitcher of milk or cream instead? The chile chorizo omelet was okay. Props to them for making it feel healthful with a very non-greasy omelet and salad as the side. But that definitely was not chorizo (not that I think authentic non-greasy chorizo exists). Dousing the omelet with hot sauce helped, but as I was without a drink for most of my meal, all that salt made me miserable. The side salad was very good as was the whole grain toast. I don't know if I'll return. The service wasn't great, and the food wasn't that special. There are better places to get breakfast in South Tampa for a comparable price.

We were a group of 10 and our server was excellent! The whole staff really! We sat outside and enjoyed our food+ mimosas. There was a tv out there so i know if i ever go with my husband he can watch his games (gooooo sports) while i indulge in my mimosas. I'd been studying the menu ever since my friend told me we were going. I ended up going with the avocado tartine and added smoked salmon. It was delicious and went well with a day of heavy drinking!! We also ordered the grazing board for the table which was amazing. I loved the assortment of cheeses and snacks. The butter on the board was bussinnnnn! I was in heaven!! I should mention the bottomless mimosas were $25 and the bottles literally just keep coming! Safe to say we were all feeling nice and toasty by the time we left. We hung out for a while without even getting kicked out I'd love to visit again and try more menu items. The server mentioned the cubano is the best Cuban you'll have. Now I'm always a bit skeptical bc everyone says that lol but the cubano came out looking gooooodT! I didn't try it but my friend who ordered it loved it! Parking was easy and right outside. We parked and checked in pretty quickly with ease. Thanks for the awesome service and experience! I definitely recommend adding district south kitchen & craft to your list of boozy brunch spots!

A colleague and I split a small order of smoked wings with sides of BBQ sauce and blue cheese. Although small, the wings were indeed smoky and crisp. Very tasty, just not a plump wing. I went with the steak frites. A boneless ribeye grilled to temp. Nice dry rub, tender and a thick cut. The fries were dusted with Parmesan and served hot and crispy. My colleague's lentil curry soup gave a WOW response. He wished he had ordered a bowl. There were other interesting entrees on the menu. It's worthy of a return to sample the rest of the menu. This is a very good place to dine.

There was a great amount of creamer, and the fish was so fresh and not that weird fishy smell to it. The greens complemented and balanced out the fattiness of the salmon. We also got their brunch burger, which we ordered at medium rare. It's probably the first place I've ever served me an actual medium rare burger cooked correctly! The egg was nice and runny the bun was seasoned. I could've gone without the croissant bun. I think it got soggy and the flavor didn't quite fit. I was expecting a more buttery, flaky croissant rather I got a more sweet dough croissant. Otherwise, the other components were put together very well. The french fries are also cooked perfectly. Highly recommend. Then we ended the meal off with macadamia pancakes. The pancakes themselves were kind of flat but surprisingly very moist and very yummy. I wasn't expecting them to be moist because I have flat they were, but it was very good. The macadamia and the fruit combo on top was delicious. The passionfruit syrup was tangy and sour. My only feedback is to serve it with whipped cream or something to just relieved all the sourness that's on this plate. Otherwise very well executed. We'll definitely be back!

Overall, I enjoyed the experience, but I wish I liked the food more…read more We came on a Saturday morning for brunch. I was really worried about parking because I remembered what it was like with that early on, but it seems like their parking has expanded. I think it's because it's now right next to a fitness studio that together they realize they needed a lot more parking, so there is quite a bit of parking in the parking lot behind it. That being said the restaurant wasn't that crowded so I don't know what it's like when both the restaurant and the fitness studio is crowded, but for a Saturday brunch, we had no issues finding a parking spot. We primarily came because the kids wanted to try the arcade. We got super lucky that the kids went into the arcade before a birthday party started. Once the birthday party started, they put out a sign that said there was a private event so it was completely closed to the public. That would've been such a disappointment so if you are really looking forward to the arcade like my kids are, I think it's worth a call ahead of time to make sure there is no private event that has booked that space. Overall, I wish I like the food better. The pretzel board was delicious and definitely a highlight. I got a mint tea that was absolutely amazing. At first. I felt like it was a little too sweet, but I really warmed up to it. Next time I should ask though for the sweetener on the side for me to control the sweetness level. I got the steak hash, and I wasn't a big fan. The steak was slightly over salted, although it was cooked perfectly. The potato hash was huge chunks of potatoes, so I just felt like it was a major potato overload. Overall, for the price of the dish, I thought it would be much better. I think fewer potatoes would have made it better, because the meat if it wasn't over salted would have been quite good. I got my eggs sunny side up and they were cooked perfectly. I really appreciate their kids menu, it has pictures of all the food so the kids were able to look at the pictures to choose. They both wanted their own pizza, one with fries, the other with fruit. The fries were delicious my son love them, the fruit was also good. They both only ate one slice of their pizza so we definitely could've gotten them one pizza to share. I got them both gummy bear lemonade, and it was actually quite sour to my surprise. We asked to switch out one lemonade for a Coke when my older son wouldn't drink it. I was surprised that we ended up being charged for both the Coke and the gummy bear lemonade when he didn't drink it. However, overall, our service was fantastic so I'm not going to let that small thing dampen my review of the service. My husband got the Caesar wrap, he really enjoyed it. He got truffle fries, which ended up being a good call because my older son ate all the fries. My husband got a margarita and really liked it. Overall, I think they do drinks well here. We sat outside and it was gorgeous. It's fully covered. We didn't feel that hot and they do have TV so you can watch sports. I do love the decor of this place overall. This isn't a place that we are running to come back to you, but I do believe we will be back in the future.
