So glad this finally opened in Largo, it needed a good sit-down breakfast/brunch spot in the area! Went during their first week and the food was consistent with other First Watch locations I've been to, which is exactly what you want. There was a long wait but luckily there was bar seating available. The blueberry pancakes were delicious, easily one of the best pancakes I've had recently. The apple chicken sausage patties were also a standout, great flavor. And the juice tasted freshly squeezed, you could really tell the difference. Only minor note is service was a bit slow, but that's understandable since they've only been open a week. Every new restaurant has some kinks to work out, and I'd chalk this up to normal growing pains . Will definitely be back to see how things are once they settle in! read more

I really wanted to enjoy the new First Watch in Largo, but unfortunately our first experience was chaotic enough that we decided not to dine. My guest and I arrived around 11:30 a.m. Sunday, knowing it was peak brunch time and that First Watch doesn't take reservations. We were quoted a 60-90 minute wait for two, yet a significant portion of the dining room was unseated. We overheard staff discussing being short-staffed, and guests attempting to order takeout were also being quoted long waits because the kitchen was backed up. The restaurant simply seemed overwhelmed. To make matters worse, I visited the restroom and found vomit left on a toilet seat. Between the staffing issues, backed-up kitchen, partially empty dining room, crowd waiting to be seated, and restroom condition, everything felt disorganized. We eventually went elsewhere. I checked in at 11:37 a.m. and didn't receive the text to return to the host stand until 1:15 p.m., nearly 100 minutes later. By then, we had gone to Silver Diner down the street, waited, ordered, eaten, paid, and left. I understand new restaurants have growing pains and Sunday brunch is demanding, but that makes adequate staffing and operational readiness even more important. If demand consistently exceeds capacity, management may need to reconsider staffing, waitlist procedures, or even reservations. I'm giving two stars because we never actually tried the food, so it wouldn't be fair to judge that. I'd still return during the week or at a less demanding time because I want this location to succeed. For now, though, a nearly 100-minute wait while portions of the dining room remain unseated, combined with kitchen delays and restroom cleanliness issues, is simply not the first impression you want from a brand-new restaurant. read more

My husband and I are on vacation and tried First Watch for the first time. We loved it! I got the Avocado Toast with 2 eggs, and bacon. My husband got scrambled eggs, bacon and potatoes. Could not have picked a better spot to take my grandfather to breakfast for his 90th birthday. We only waited about 5 minutes to be seated. Taelor provided amazing service and the food was just as good. We both got the trifecta w/ Belgian waffle. They even gave my guy a free blueberry muffin w/ a candle on a happy birthday plate. Will definitely return to this new location. Be sure to get here as early as you can, as the later it gets the wait can be longer. It'll be worth your wait nonetheless. read more

Took Mommy here to celebrate her birthday & we got my aunt from the nursing home to celebrate since metro access only goes but so far!. We were greeted immediately as well as the wait wasn't long despite being Extremely packed!!, they made accommodations for my aunts wheelchair. Our Waiter Josh was so Nice, welcoming and a good conversation!!. He checked on our table frequently got everything we asked for even when his hands were full or taking menus from another table! He deserved 5 stars!!... onto The Food!! this was all of our first time at FW in general! Mommy got the Trifecta-Multi-Grain Pancakes (Fell apart and even when syrup broke down even more so it wasn't enjoyable) , Regular Bacon (too greasy mom had to dab it & her plate with a few Napkins ) , Scrambled eggs (but they didn't mix the cheese in at all just sprinkled it on top and added chives for garnish!! ;( , My Aunt got the BLTE. Sandwhich which came with a handful of mixed greens just because ! but she turned it into Salad! Since it was just sitting there , I got the Half Sandwhich and Soup - Monterey Club! & Soup of the Day Broccoli & cheddar!! -which wasn't overpowering the soup with glomps of cheese !! Move aside, the Silver Diner, Copper Canyon Grill, and neighboring restaurants, this is an upgrade of tasty, exciting dishes with delish and vibrant ingredients! New breakfast/lunch spot in Glen Arden is a must-try. I had the mashed avocado egg brioche sandwich with bacon and dressed arugula. It was excellent, and the fried potatoes were cooked well with a slight bitter kick (it may need a slight adjustment). The vibe is clean, modern, and bright. Coffee and water are left at your table in a carafe and jug instead of constant refills, which leaves a cozy feeling. My waitress was awkward; she sat down and read the dish to me after I placed the order if there was anything I dislike or want to remove from the order. I had to wait for my order longer than any other tables, and the manager was kind to check on me and resolved the waiting immediately. Here's a warning in a good way: it gets packed, so make a reservation. Am so glad to have a spot like this in my neighborhood, I will definitely be back. read more

Restaurant is very nice - bright and open unlike Bowie location. Food was just as good but I don't get why First Watch always serves cold waffles. Clearly they can see if the butter is not melting. Sent them back and got one that was at least warm but when I went to pay both waffles (2) we're on my bill. No liquor license yet so no mimosas. I will definitely return but why does their inside signage say Woodmore and they are next door to Jaspers in Largo. Service was very good and manager apologized for cold waffles. read more

Seemed slightly xxx that I walked to the pickup counter. - [ ] I opted for bar service rather than get on the wait list. There were many empty tables, so the wait list surprised me. They may have a staff shortage for a Tuesday. - [ ] The bar seats Nine. It's okay if you're with someone but a little snug when it starts filling up. - [ ] The parking lot had a lot of cars. They may have underestimated demand for a new (to this area) sit down restaurant. - [ ] I noticed a few people at tables with no food. Several staff of indeterminate roles were standing around. - [ ] I wonder if there is a kitchen staff issue. - [ ] Server at the bar has too many assignments. - [ ] I ordered an extra (3rd) scrambled egg with the Trifecta breakfast. When the order arrived, I could tell it was only two eggs. Ironically, the replacement egg was larger than the initial scramble. - [ ] Waffle was not hot enough to melt the whipped butter but The syrup was warm. - [ ] Paying your check requires use of a QR code.
