This is not my first visit here. Not all First W franchises are the same. This one is ok, could be better. The primary highlight of this visit was the friendly, good service from Tina our Server. Also makes it so much easier to use "Yelp Call Ahead Seating" on the Yelp app or Google. As you can see based on my pics, their Mimosas are good. They serve Barefoot Dry Champagne. Generally the orange juice is crisp with a sweet fresh taste. Todays IT HAD AN ACIDIC TASTE:-(? I ordered the Chorizo Omelette, it was seasoned well. Caramelized onions and pickled jalapeños gave it that extra zing complementing the robust flavor of the chorizo. Glad the Kitchen Staff was generous with the Chorizo. As for the Breakfast Potatoes? I mentioned to Tina they were VERY SALTY:-( She said, seemed the kitchen prep crew had over seasoned these early in the morning. ***Since, they prepare large batches and add a pre-made dry seasoning purchased from ""A Vendor"" I'm not keen on pre-prepped mixed dry seasonings. They seemed NOT TO KNOW WHAT WAS IN THE SEASONING:-O it's not complicated to season food. ""CORP NEEDS TO CK-Out. The TV Show Chopped Jr(Food Network Channel) NINE YR OLDS Cooking! Met jack, Mgr. I ordered the shishito brisket hash and it was just potatoes, there was one piece of brisket the size of my pinky and it was just fat and gristle. Flavor for bland. First time here & is was fabulous! We got out of our vehicle & the host met us at the door and seated us immediately. The atmosphere and decor is fantastic. There is a big open bar with beautiful lighting. Our waitress was very kind and attentive. I love First Watch! Found this one in Vero Beach, so took my buddy who was visiting for breakfast. Although there were people waiting on the porch, we were seated immediately in getting in... think as we were 2, they had a table for us. It was buzzing in side but we had room, could hear each other, everything was clean and inviting. Cute waitress was efficient and pleasant. I had the lemon ricotta pancakes with bacon which was delicious. A big portion, but as always at First Watch, yummy! Bruce had an omelet w greens, some low carb offering. We have been here twice now and each time the food was outstanding. The service is friendly and the atmosphere is very inviting. They have great special choices as well as their standard menu choices. Plus, you can get a cocktail, if that's your thing. I have had brisket hash, as well as huevos rancheros which I loved. My wife has had the farmhouse skillet and the rustica frittata. Our daughter loves their French toast. I strongly recommend going online and doing an online and using their "get in line" option to save time when you arrive. Each time we did that our wait time was minimal during times where walk up times are over an hour. We plan on going back again soon. read more

I asked them to take some of the ice out and they said they can't and in stead they brought me another glass. So I decided to drain the whole drink and this is how much juice there was actually in a "full" glass. 5$ juice. nice one!!!! Update: I asked the server about the portion, I understood it wasn't her fault but I told her I didn't want to pay for the juice. She explained that THAT is the portion (lmaooooo ok???), she also said that it's an energy drink and that it's supposed to be a small portion. Stopped by for breakfast on Mother's Day. Despite having a reservation our group had to wait 45 mins for our table. Luckily there are benches outside the restaurant which are covered. Upon entering the restaurant the hostess (who was masked) took us to our table. Our waitress was very friendly and was great. However we noticed a few employees who were not wearing masks correctly (one male had a poorly fitting mask which was always riding down his face and another female server had her nose fully exposed with her mask). The reason this was irksome is the restaurant had a sign on front mandating all to be masked until they were at their table. Food was tasty and reasonably priced, however had to dock 2 stars for reservation mixup and employees not abiding by mask guidelines. If mgmt can address these areas in the future, I would be happy to visit again. read more

This is a clean, bright breakfast spot in a busy strip mall. We went for an early breakfast, so there was no wait or crowd. I ordered a turkey, egg, sweet potato and avocado bowl. It was simple, fresh and very palatable. My partner had a smoked salmon frittata. Both meals were served hot and came quickly. The mixed drinks are mild, which is ok for breakfast drinks. The Bloody Mary was thick and had a kick of spice. I prefer mine a little thinner and with something pickled along the side, but the bacon it came with was pretty cool. Service was attentive and friendly and our server had cute strawberry earrings. I enjoyed the experience but this is more of a treat breakfast place, not a daily standby. read more

Ordered a side of seasonal fruit for takeout (among other things) and it cost $4.29. VERY disappointed in the quantity of fruit I received (see photo). If this is the normal amount of fruit, don't waste your money. If they didn't have enough, they should have not given it to me and let me know it was unavailable. read more

Why did we come back for a second try? Our first experience was horrible. Food took forever and my wife found hair in her food. Low and behold after about a year we decided we would give it a second try. Huge mistake. First off, we put our name and they said about 20 minutes. No problem, we had 4 kids with us and three adults so we were fine with the wait. However, after 20 minutes we were still not seated. There were other large groups waiting who got there after us and were seated pretty quickly because they signed in on the app, honestly, signing in on app is a terrible practice and should be eliminated. No matter what you are offending a customer who is waiting for a table. After another 15 minutes we were finally seated. Kids and my wife's food came out super quick. However, my food never came out. Like literally never came out. We said something to the waitress about it and she assured us it would be ready soon. About 10 minutes after everyone else at our table finished eating, my food finally came out. The server could tell I was not happy with the food she brought out. I ordered a farmhouse skillet. What they brought me was literally a few potatoes and a couple small pieces of scrambled egg. For the price the portion was a joke and honestly looked Half eaten. After all that, she asked if I wanted them to remake it. Lol yeah please go remake after I've been sitting here watching my entire table eat. No thank you. My food was bland and underwhelming for the price, everyone at my table felt the same. We will not be back. Do not waste your time here. Dunkin' Donuts two doors down (not a fan either) looks like a Michelin star restaurant compared to this place. It's just a joke at this point. First watch is a restaurant I've seen before but hadn't tried. Now I'm smacking myself for not going earlier. Menu was full of options but I settled on the trifecta with a carrot cake pancake (humongous btw) bacon and scrambled eggs. Everything came out great and I was pleasantly surprised with the taste of the pancake. I didn't even have to use syrup, it was just that moist. Quite enjoyable. First of I recommend using Yelp to save your spot in line. There was a fairly large wait and we walked up and were seated almost right away. The food as seen in the pictures was quite delicious. The pancakes were the best part of the meal. The bacon was pretty good, not burnt but not flimsy at all! The chikichanga thing was alright, flavor and everything was there. Just a really light meal. The pancakes were the banana ones, and if you're not super hungry I would say one pancake would do the trick to fill you up. The juice was alright, a bit sharp. But good. I wish they had an açaí berry one, id spent good money for that. We will be going back and seeing what other entree's are worth trying and I'll continue to update my review. read more

Went to the Vero Beach First Watch. Disappointed again.My sister ordered eggs Benedict, and it arrived the same way as the last time we were there. The eggs were hard boiled. Sent it back & when the new one came out (it took 20 minutes) it was cold & the eggs were like jelly. First Watch used to be a great place before they expanded and became so commercialized. The service is always bad, they do a sort of "pooled service" which just makes it so no one really takes responsibility for making sure your order has been taken, you're getting what you need etc. and the food is really inconsistent. I've ordered avocado toast several times and it's always been different. The last time I ordered with poached eggs and instead of having fully cooked eggs on top of the toast they brought them half-cooked and watery in a little side bowl. They were inedible so they made me scrambled. Just seems there's very little care and consistency with their food so I won't be going anymore. My wife discovered First Watch in Orlando and immediately fell in love with the place due to being restricted to a gluten-free diet and the options available. When a location opened in Vero, she was thrilled and once a month she splurges on "Million Dollar Bacon" with her otherwise healthy breakfast. Today we ordered takeout since it was a "stay in" sort of Sunday and, after navigating the Sunday crowd that was waiting for seats, I escaped with our breakfast and a couple of bonus gluten-free brownies I bought at the register. When we got home, we pulled out our meal and settled in front of our couch... and then noticed the distinct lack of BACON. I called and politely conveyed how disappointed we were fully expecting to either take a credit for next time or going to get it to eat with what would soon be a cold breakfast. Instead, I was rendered speechless when the manager offered to get the bacon and bring it to us. Now, we only live about six minutes away, but this still was above and beyond. Vero Beach is notorious for being complacent when it comes to service in restaurants. First Watch has always been a great place to eat since we started going, but the Vero Beach location is a class act. Highly recommended and worth your business. read more
