I had a horrible experience. I ordered online, came at the time the confirmation said it would be ready. Was told my order couldn't be found and then told it would take 5 more mins for my order to be ready because they were busy. 30 mins later after standing inside waiting for my food, I was told my food was never made and they were all out of the food I ordered. Then I was told they made my food but couldn't find it. I watched someone order food and leave with their order all while I stood there waiting. The hostess went back a third time and came back and told me again my order would be ready in 5 mins. I then asked for a refund. This was horrible service and a horrible experience. Walked in on a busy Sunday morning. Had high hopes on our first visit. We were immediately seated. Helped wait staff who dropped stuff from neighboring table a few minutes after being seated. That's how my hubby is, kind and helpful. She said she'd be right back. She was. She was back often. She went by 3-4 times at least. Never to visit us, though. I tried First Watch in Austin and was ecstatic to find one in the Clear Lake/Webster area. Their trifecta with a plate-size lemon ricotta pancake is heavenly. No syrup needed thanks to the creamy lemon curd sitting atop the pancake. Their chicken sausage is a great, flavorful switch from bacon. The people there are very kind and attentive too. Left me on hold for almost 30 minutes!!!!! No exaggeration there either! Called in to order for pick up, as I waited on the phone 10 minutes pass, I stay on medical Blvd which is not even 5 minutes from the store. So I decided to drive up there since I was on the phone waiting 20 minutes now. Get there and see my phone was still on hold 30 minutes later and there was no wait and not many people inside. Go in and tell one server I was on hold for 30 minutes on the phone and they just look at me confused. Like come on, y'all arnt busy and then your servers are leaving customers on hold for half an hour and ask for a simple explanation you look lost and confused. I was so very disappointed with this location. I made a special trip to go to this location, because I was in the area. I have always had a good experience at the Pearland Parkway location. Well when I got there they weren't busy, and I sat there at least 15 minutes and no one came and acknowledge me or got my drink order. They sat me next to 2 dirty tables. I went this morning with my family and was waiting for 40 minutes and so we decided to leave.. so I told the cashier to charge me whatever it was that I owed and I explained to her why we wa leaving she said this is not a drive thru restaurant, so she was very rude and she needed to call the manager to charge me and left me there another 5 minutes waiting because if I had left she was calling the cops... very bad place for family!!! This is a trendy food in a strip.center restaurant. While I have been to a few over the years and really enjoyed the twists I just ordered standard bacon and eggs this time. Service was very good. Coffee was great. Eggs were cooked properly and there was 4 nice pieces of bacon. The one thick slice of house baked toast would have been impressive had it not been cold. The potatoes were also at room temperature. I expected better. From reading other similar reviews it appears the kitchen needs to look at it's basics . I'll be back to try some of thier unique fare as it looked interesting but if it comes cold again......... read more

My coworker and I came to this location during our HOUR lunch break and the service was SO SLOW!!! We were there for 45 mins with just our drinks. I ordered a 1/2 salad and soup combo and she ordered a BLT sandwich. We ended up asking the waitress for a to-go box, before we even got our food, because we had to get back to work. Had the 1/2 Club, it's a great sandwich. The salad wasn't very tasty(avocado chop), and the tomato basil tastes like it came from a can, the prices are pretty outrageous for what you get. My boyfriend ordered the French toast, it comes with no sides even though it's like 10$. Our waitress is kind and semi attentive but she didn't even give us water with our coffee. The food is worth four stars. Our service was worth two. Michael seems a bit lost. He did not bring my coffee for about 10 mins into the experience. He took too long to take our order. We noticed him taking orders of customers who came in after us first. We ordered and my wife requested coffee. She had to remind him 5 mins later. Coffee finally came out 1 min before the food. To be clear the coffee was to enjoy while waiting for the food. Time from order to food delivery was fine. The food was very good. Pricing moderate. May come back. First time and last time here. Service here sucks, literally waited 35 freaking minutes just to get my juice and are food wasn't even ready. When my drink was brought, i asked the waiter for a straw, he literally got an attitude and threw the straw. Also within the 35 minutes are food still wasn't ready. The waitress we had literally only checked on us at least 3 times. When our food came out it wasn't even hot, so you can tell it's just been sitting there and when asked for silverware, we just got ignored. My mother and I went to the soft opening on April 26th. Although the restaurant was packed, between Mirtha and Karina, our service was great. We tried all three of the fresh juices. My favorite was Spring Clean - earthy, citrusy, and fresh tasting. My mother likes Morning Meditation the best - fruity tasting. We liked the kale tonic as well - the kale does not overwhelm the flavor at all. We ordered the Tri-fecta with Belgian waffle and the Lemon Blueberry Qunioa pancakes-so good you can't believe it's healthier. Food was delicious. The coffee was fine, but I liked The Egg and I's coffee more. We returned a couple of more times over the past month. Service and food continued to be excellent.
