My first sub-standard First Watch visit. I travel quite a bit and FW is my go-to breakfast when I want something dependably tasty. I'm not sure if this is a new location or what, but it just wasn't the great experience I'm used to. The hostess looked at me like I was from Mars when I told her I'd gotten in line on the app, and I was halfway through my meal when I got the text that my table was ready. The Million Dollar bacon was floppy instead of crisp, and the chili chorizo omelette was... well, look at the pic. The kitchen staff obviously had no interest putting together a decent looking plate. The high point was the server who was very good, attentive, and even apologetic when I told her the food was "fine", but that's not really her fault. Their shops in Stuart and West Palm Beach were excellent: The staff helpful, friendly and attentive. The food is always good. Their seasonal special Mexican corn scramble was great - it even looked exactly like the photo on their web site. The lemon ricotta pancakes were light, fluffy and flavorful. The avocado toast was pretty good, although one of the eggs was soft and runny as ordered while the other was overcooked. Our coffee was re-filled frequently (fresh pots dropped off). The staff, from the hostess to the food runners were friendly and helpful. On the other hand, our visit to the First Watch in Jupiter, along Indiantown Road, was terrible. The staff, from the manager and cook to our server, were indifferent. The food was haphazardly prepared - the over easy eggs were hard and cold. When we complained, rather than taking our food back and swapping it for fresh portions, the manager brought out a plate with over easy eggs and put it down on our table. Even the coffee was terrible - it was "burnt." We told our server, who brought out another pot of the same burnt coffee - she had no clue that they had to brew fresh coffee. So we went for my nieces bday party, 8 adults 5 kids. Waitress was very rude, every time we asked for something like a straw or napkins she would "huff and puff" then we asked if she can put a candle on the birthday girls pancake (we supplied it) she said "I'm busy I'll try I don't have time really". All I have to say is YUM! Went here for brunch with some friends and it was a roller-coaster of an experience. At first, I spent about 10 minutes looking through the menu for some breakfast item that caught my eye....nothing really did so I ended up going with the traditional breakfast (sausage, egg, potatoes, and toast). I didn't feel too confident about my choice, but everyone was ordering....so you know how that goes. Then the food came out and I was highly impressed. I came today for breakfast with my family and was seated almost immediately. After waiting for 15 minutes and noticing that 3 tables that were sat after us were greeted by their servers and orders taken. I had to ask the host who our server was. The host immediately went to the server Mariah and must have advised that we were waiting. While I couldn't gather everything, I was able to see the host at least say please with some urgency and pleading in her face. Mariah looked over and eventually came to our table. She did not introduce herself on arrival. She offered an off handed apology about confusion and rushed to take our order. We weren't given water or any of the normal pleasantries that we ordinarily receive during other visits. As a someone who not only frequents First Watch, but also is a server, I was very disappointed at this experience. I used to love coming here. This used to be my favorite breakfast spot near my house. This is the worst customer service I've ever had. This is the 3rd time this happens so I'm not even surprised. We walked in through the front, asked for outdoor seating. After 15 minutes outside a couple was seated and then another couple. Usually I hate going to this location on the weekends because I do not feel that their kitchen can handle the pressure of the rush. I mostly have issues with my order when I am there on the weekend. Yesterday, we arrived at 2:15 so it was smooth sailing. What I enjoy most about First Watch is the quality of their food, decor and their seasonal menus. I have been eating at this location since the day they opened so they get 4 stars because overall they have been consistent, they make things right when they mess up and I enjoy their staff. Visited First Watch with my boyfriend, best friend and her boyfriend during a weekend trip up to WPB for the Florida Georgia Line Concert last Summer. We decided it would be fun to check this place out for brunch since my bestie had it bookmarked right here on Yelp. Man, oh man was I happy we decided to stop in! The restaurant itself feels a bit "chainy" but after you sit down and really take it all in, you're immediately transported to a place that feels like all the food was farm-raised right out back. I ordered a "2 for You" off the lunch menu. Half of a Monterey Club Sandwich and a cup of the Seasonal Harvest Butternut Squash soup. Both of these items were absolutely delicious and very fresh! I couldn't leave without having the Brown Sugar Bacon tho, and I need to warn you - BEST. BACON. EVERRRR. It was so good I had to share it with the table, even tho I really wanted it all to myself. My boyfriend ordered a "2 For You" as well, with a Cobb salad and a half a Roast Beef and Havarti sandwich. He said his was better than mine but I doubt it. I imagine his selection was just as amazing as mine was. I honestly cannot wait to go back to First Watch. It first I was not in the mood to wait but I put my name on the list anyway and we were called within 10 minutes, even after being told it would take a half hour to get in. When we were seated we are immediately brought coffee and water, and asked if we wanted to spend a few more minutes looking at the menu. My friend and I both had some questions and discovered we can have our meals anyway we want them. So just a few minutes went by the waitress came back and we ordered. Our meals came in a reasonable amount of time maybe 10 minutes or so. And everything looked really good. I ordered one of the pan dishes with some customizations to suit my needs because I can't eat gluten and I don't like carbs. I was easily accommodated. Both my friend and I were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the meal. The ingredients are fresh and ample while the cooking was done perfectly. I know we were enjoying our food because we were pretty much silent while we ate. The waitress kept stopping by checking on us which was very nice. We had a thermal pot of hot coffee on a table and a quart bottle of water as well. We did not need any additional items from the waitress or waiter and were happy to enjoy our breakfast while busily catching up. We both agreed we would come back. Every time my husband has surgery at the hospital nearby I come here and have breakfast while I wait. Sometimes I even come and have lunch as well because I'm at the hospital most of the day.
