Honey Chipotle Chicken Hash and Pumpkin Pancake Breakfast

First watch, you never disappoint. If you are looking for a breakfast spot and you want quality food. This is the only place in Wilmington you should be going. The honey chipotle chicken has i got had every flavor and was amazing. A touch of spice with the quality of a nice heart breakfast. My wife got 2 pumpkin pancakes with chocolate chips and that was soft and warm with a great taste and nice sear to the pancake. This is a cute spot to enjoy breakfast or lunch and the atmosphere is also clean and inviting. The service team there is fast and efficient and they are all so nice! Will always come here for breakfast and need to try the lunch menu. This is also a locally sourced company!

I love coming here for breakfast. I often order the same thing (the BLT eggs Benedict) but I have tried several other items and my family has ate almost everything on the menu at one time or another (the lemon ricotta pancakes are great!). The restaurant can be a little noisy, but we sit outside when we can. The service is always great. I haven't had a bad waiter/waitress yet. Overall, I enjoy coming here.

I added us to the waiting list online which worked perfectly! So this is something I do recommend to anyone wishing to come at high peak times Saturdays and Sundays. The food was just okay for me I wasn't impressed as I thought I'd be. Everyone is different with regard to palettes. We got the chorizo omelette which we was hoping for some chorizo in it. However, it sprinkling of chorizo( nonexistent, lol). The inside is industrial and farm-to-table style. The pricing was on par because it's fresh. It's worth a try if you haven't been.

Hardly any salmon on the benedict for $15ish. Heavily salted potatos.

First time visiting. We ordered the french toast with a side of bacon, the smoked salmon eggs benedict, a side of the million-dollar bacon, cranberry juice, and a honey caramel crunch coffee for $50 (20% tip included). Pros: Fast friendly service Clean and inviting Vast menu Delicious french toast Cons: Salty salty salty potatos The hollandaise sauce had too much lemon Scarce salmon on the benedict (did not mirror their advertised picture) The honey caramel crunch iced coffee was too sweet On the fence: The price for limited salmon and $6 for a side of bacon. We will return for another visit. I love eggs benedict but their did not hit the mark. I will try something different.

After a long trip, we decided that we had to stop here for brunch. I loved the amount of windows, giving it a bright natural light. The decor was really fitting to its farm-to-table style. The food was good and it was a slightly more elevated breakfast. With that in mind, this wouldn't be my first choice for a kids breakfast. We don't drink often, and especially not for breakfast or brunch. First Watch does definitely have a larger selection of alcoholic beverages though, which I'm sure has something for anyone looking for a boozy brunch. Lol! The restaurant is a little pricier for a little more sophisticated food, but offers a few menu items you won't really find anywhere else, so definitely worth dropping by. Service was prompt and we even saw the staff assisting elderly in and out. All around a good experience, probably just better suited for someone else. 9/10

This fast casual chain is a solid choice for breakfast and lunch. They have a lot of options to choose from and the quality of the food is always solid. A little salty sometimes but overall good. The decor here is light and airy and reflects the local beach life personality. The service is good. Although sometimes I feel rushed here. I get it. I understand the need to turn over tables. But when it's not busy, don't rush me to pay the check. I like to sit and talk and enjoy my meal. The coffee is not good here. No espresso drinks. But the smoothies and juices are fantastic.

Craving breakfast again, I once again was limited of who was delivering. I saw First Watch and was not excited. I will say that this was the best meal that I have had yet. Still only 3 stars, but the best one. I ordered the traditional breakfast with chicken sausage patties. The eggs were cooked well, and the chicken sausage was average. The home fries were cooked well but very salty. The bread was very thick and had a unique taste. I much prefer other local restaurant breakfasts over this but of all the choices that I have had here, this was decent.

Oh my goodness they've done it again! When you already have one of the freshest menus in town and you make your avocado toast insanely next level by adding lump crab meat and pickled onions!!!! WOW. I added hot sauce and DAMN! Talk about a flavor explosion. Oh yeah, it also comes with two poached eggs that are cooked to perfection and I have no love for eggs, but these I ate right up!! Dipping my toast in the yolk til it was all gone. The new spring menu is out and I haven't worked my way through it yet. But I will and I totally suggest you do the same!

We came from out of town to visit and what a great spot we discovered ! For a quick stop for brunch on Sunday for both occasions I will say do expect to wait for a seat because it does get very busy! The first time around I had their carnitas burrito and that thing was huge and filling ! But so tasty and definitely recommend if you're famished. The second time I had I believe their Tri- fecta and hubby had the Traditional Breakfast. Can't go wrong with either all options were delicious & didn't disappoint! For portions wise I will say the second time around I wish I had ordered something more filling but the French toast to the bacon & even the new lavender lemonade I'm glad we got a gave it a shot all very yummy!

I came here in a group of 5 around at 11:10am, on my birthday which was on a Monday a few months ago. There was no wait. The restaurant has an open concept. Guests automatically receive a canister of coffee and 2 glasses, but beware as it's not complementary. We ordered around 11:30am and the food came about 10 minutes later. My kid got a chocolate chip pancake with bacon. I got pancake, bacon, eggs, and seasoned potatoes. They had smuckers sugar free syrup, which wasn't even opened yet, which says not many people request it. Nonetheless, it was great they offered it! We all enjoyed our food! I did end up getting a beverage called "Morning Meditation", which I liked. The service was great. I would most definitely return and even visit a location closer to me.

Our fist place we ate ate once we moved here. Quick little breakfast that was nice. Didn't have to much for those with restrictions but we made due. I like it when they arise to the challenge of me saying being me your favorite(when i don't like to chose)

After fruitlessly driving around to three different spots looking for brunch, my friend and I put our name in at First Watch (We did the put your name on the list ahead of time option). It was very breezy that day, but we were starving and chose to sit on the patio so we could go ahead and eat instead of waiting longer. Waverly was our waitress and was super friendly, helpful and nice. I ordered The Works omelet, a side of grits (these were so so) and a carrot cake pancake. The pancake was definitely the best part! My friend enjoyed her ham and gruyere omelet too.

Had breakfast here the other morning. It's a very casual environment with ample seating. I had the salmon eggs benedict. Salmon was tasty but a bit on the salty side. The poached eggs were cooked perfectly but instead of on an English muffin it was ciabatta bread. Would not have been my choice. The food was good but not memorable. Service was good. I for life of me don't understand why there are people waiting in line on the weekends. read more

This was a lot better than I was expecting. I was very uneasy about the restaurant, thanks to the relatively high prices of some of the items. But, by golly, the food was well worth it. Excellent french toast, eggs, etc. And terrific, efficient, attentive, and reassuring service from my server (who apparently is named "Sugar Pants," if I recall correctly). It's a chain which seems to sprout in some of the more expensive mcmansion-y neighborhoods, so I'm not really sure what their usual quality is. But, this one, in Wilmington, is excellent. I noticed that someone in the kitchen area was very efficiently managing things in a Patton-esque manner -- presumably a lot of the quality, and efficiency, is due to that guy. Now, I'll check out another branch and find out! read more

The packets of cream were congealed and bad. Waitresses knew it but never offered regular cream or told anyone. Bad move. This my coffee became a science project. When you offer fruit on the side - make sure it's ripe. Strawberries. Blueberries. Blackberries. Not hardened melon and pineapple. Sharing waitresses has never been a good idea. You don't know who is serving you. Too impersonal. This particular restaurant has been better. Seems it's too bend on serving quickly not properly. read more

Unfortunately I will not be returning to this location again. The waiters were nice but I did not receive the cleanest utensils. They give you water out of a glass container. The glass container was dirty and had particles hanging on the inside of it in the water. Also the glass cup was dirty and had the same thing on it. I couldn't even drink the water. The food was good but was very difficult to eat due to the uncleanliness. Also if you happen to drink this water , make sure you check the glass container to make sure it is clean ! read more

Giving it 3 stars not so much for the food but for the safety measures, or lack thereof, as we went on Thanksgiving weekend and Covid cases were still spiking at a record pace. They were at full 100% capacity and every table was occupied. We ended up getting the food to go. Food, with it being a chain in the south, was good and like all the other first watch. I got the the works omelette and it was as advertised, nothing special. read more

Our first time here at First Watch and our experience was amazing! The atmosphere is cozy and comforting while everyone was enjoying their meals. Even though they were packed inside and people we were waiting outside to dine, our wait was short and we were seated quickly. The menu has an amazing array of choices!!! There was a wait when we arrived, but we were seated quicker than anticipated. I believe it's because they were busy and trying to find their flow, but we were served first plastic disposable cups for our drinks - then midway through we received regular glasses. The food also took awhile to arrive, but like I said, I think they're still trying to sort things out. Everything on the menu was affordable and sounded good, but we both agreed it was lacking something. It was like they were trying to make interesting flavor combos, while also attempting to make it seem healthy...but the overall taste was lackluster. My bf ordered a waffle & said the fruit jam that came with it tasted like it came out of a can. He also said his biscuit tasted the same. Took my beautiful wife here for her birthday breakfast and we enjoyed the unique cocktails. The home fries were perfectly seasoned and "the works" omelet was packed with bacon ham and sausage - I opted out of the veggies so it was nice they don't skimp out on the meat. Always one of my first stops when I'm in town visiting my family. Food is consistent and fresh. The breakfast tacos are bussin. We usually do a weekday brunch when it's not slammed and always as for Gates! She had a great attitude and greets us with a smile. Solid all around breakfast spot. 10/10 would recommend!! read more

I had the market skillet and it was fantastic! The market and rustic items are the non-meat versions of dishes. The potatoes in the skillet are wonderful and i am not a big fan of potatoes. My husband had the chickichanga. It wasn't his thing. It looked good though. It looks like it has a holendaise sauce smother with sour cream. My husband just doesn't like either of those toppings to begin with. He thought the fillings were great though. We liked the industrial decor and the atmosphere was open and airy and friendly. We had a wonderful server who made the experience fun as well I recommend this restaurant for breakfast for sure. Will try a lunch option next time. read more

We showed up right at opening with 3 kids and 2 adults- haven't eaten out in FOREVER! So luckily it was only us and one other couple in the restaurant. The wait staff was great and checked on us just enough. The kids menu was just right and fun to color. I am only giving it 4 stars because I thought the French toast was so/so. My husband ordered the traditional breakfast and it wasn't as yummy looking as the Famous Toastery. Definitely need to try the Floridian French Toast- very unique. read more

The food is very good. However, we gave it a third shot and yet again we received dirty dishes. The first two times it was silverware, and the last time my coffee cup had some food on the side of it. I reluctantly scraped it off and drank my coffee. By the end of my cup I noticed the inside was not fully cleaned either. read more

Everything was delicious. Simply put. Every aspect of every dish just tasted fresh. I got the market hash. Potatoes were to die for, veggies were all fresh, the cheese wasn't overpowering. Perfect portion size. I didn't leave hating myself or needing to lie down. The sausage gravy was really good, but be aware it is turkey gravy and you can taste that. Morning meditation juice was interesting. Definitely tasted funky because of the beet juice but I'd probably order it again. Already can't wait to go back read more

My husband and I tried this place after church one Sunday morning and had a great experience! Honestly no complaints. We had great service and didn't wait long for our food at all either! I order the Kale Tonic juice and loved it, and my husband who doesn't like veggie drinks tried it and loved it too lol. Then I ordered the farmhouse skillet hash and it was SOOOO amazing and tasteful honestly!! I was surprised I got pretty full with it! Then my husband ordered the carnitas breakfast burrito special and he loved his! Then we ordered a side of the biscuits and gravy and I'm extremely picky about my gravy & biscuits but this was for sure one of my favorites! We loved our time there though because it doesn't seem there's many great brunch places around but this was definitely amazing! I could see us going again! Plus lots of healthy options!! Food was good. Unfortunately when we were in this week a male server with blonde hair was not wearing his mask at all times. When he entered the kitchen area and prepped plates his mask was off and he rubbed his face countless times (you can see into kitchen - large glass window) Even if Covid wasn't an issue right now I'd be unhappy with this. Every other staff member had their mask on the whole time we dined in. This server ruined our chances of returning. I was also not crazy about their seating. They are seating at full capacity and have tables "protected" by plexiglass which is a joke. read more

Rating one star for two reasons: 1. I ordered Eggs Benedict, which is supposed to have a poached egg, but the egg I received had a fully cooked yolk. I've been to other First Watch restaurants in the past and haven't experienced this before, but the main idea around an Eggs Benedict is the method the egg is cooked, so this was disappointing. 2. COVID-19 safety measures were lacking severely. Indoor seating was packed and the tables were very close together. They really need to rethink their layout and limit the capacity instead of trying to pack as many people as they can inside. I probably won't be back to this location! read more

When we've come with friends or larger groups, the service has been much more mediocre. The first time we visited, one of the waitresses was surprisingly rude when I asked about vegetarian options. All she said was "salad," despite there being multiple salads (2 out of the 3) on the menu, including a Caesar with anchovy and a wedge salad with bacon. Thankfully, another staff member stepped in and was much more helpful and respectful. I'm not sure why vegetarian requests are sometimes treated like an inconvenience or unusual concept. I'm married to a huge meat eater and enjoy going to places he likes, but I do wish vegetarian guests were met with a little more patience and understanding. Especially when I am the one paying the bill. The atmosphere is loud and busy, but they are generally accommodating. For larger parties, they require a credit card to hold the reservation and give a limited grace period, with a fee of around $15 per person for no-shows. I understand why restaurants have policies like this, but it felt a little unfair considering we still had to wait around 15-20 minutes past our reservation time to be seated. If guests are expected to strictly follow time slots, I think the restaurant should also try to hold themselves to those same standards. It also took close to two hours for our food to come out, and we repeatedly had to ask for smaller things like water or hot sauce. I completely understand that larger parties can take longer, but we were a group of seven, which didn't seem unusually large. Overall, the food and atmosphere keep us coming back, but the consistency in service could definitely be improved.

My daughter ordered the bacon, lettuce, and pimento cheese biscuit, but they were out of biscuits so she switched to a bagel instead. Unfortunately, they forgot the bacon entirely, which was pretty disappointing since that's a major part of the sandwich. My other daughter ordered the Baja breakfast burrito with salsa on the side, but the salsa was put directly on the burrito. To their credit, they did offer to remake it, but we had already been waiting about 20 minutes so we decided to just keep it. Oddly, we still had to wait another 7 minutes after that for our food. Not your typical, Olive Garden-style Italian fare. The menu is relatively small, with a good variety of salads, starters, and main courses. Quanto Basta is quickly becoming one of our favorites. I said a well kept secret because we have need seen it crowded. The atmosphere is about as good as it gets. There is authentic music playing lightly in the background. Noticeable but not intrusive. Just right for quiet conversation with your group or a friendly couple at the next table. Our server was Jason and he was excellent. He presented the evening's specials politely and answered out questions knowledgeably. We started with a cocktail. Carolyn had an Aperol Spritzer and I ordered the Jack Daniel's Italian Sour. One of the best sours I have ever had. Jack and Amaretto with a fresh made sour mix. Not too sweet, and was bourbon forward. We ordered Fettuccine John Angelo - fresh made pasta with an Alfredo style sauce, and Pancetta. Served with wedges of homemade rosemary focaccia baked fresh daily. We asked that it be split so we could both have some. We also ordered the Veal Scaloppine Alla Saltimbocca. A tender slice of veal with sage, prosciutto and melted mozzarella with white wine butter sauce. The kitchen wouldn't split that dish, but Jason brought us an extra plate and a sharp knife. Both dishes were delicious. Both were an ample serving that made it easy to share. It was just the right amount. The white wine butter sauce was spectacular (and the bread was perfect for sopping it up). Note: sopping is a southern thing, and perfectly permissible here. Seldom do we order dessert, but tonight we couldn't resist the Affogato Brownie, an Espresso - soaked, double dark chocolate brownie topped with vanilla gelato and amarena cherries. It was so good. They have an extensive wine list and some craft beers as well. Here's the best part - the prices were quite reasonable. Two cocktails ($13 each), two entrees, and dessert for $100 including a 20% tip! As I said, Quanto Basta is quickly becoming a favorite. We will be back and hope we will see you there!

Went this weekend with my daughter. I'll advise you to join the waitlist online. We did not and were given at 20-25 minute wait time. After 25 minutes I checked in and we were still 9th on the list. The hostess then proceeded to tell me that the online waitlist gets priority and gets bumped in front of people at the restaurant and that I may as well just wait since I wont find a shorter wait time anywhere else. It was quite rude. Once we got to our table, server Juan was excellent and the food was good. I just think maybe the hostess needs a little refresher in speaking with customers and if truly the online waitlist is priority here I think that is crazy. They should just fall in to line with the people at the restaurant not jump in front of them. If we come here again lol join the waitlist online but we had just been to barns and noble and thought we would try it. Not a great first impression. read more

This was the first place we visited after restrictions were lifted. Every Sunday morning we've been going to First Watch for breakfast. It's exceptional in that it has outside dining where we can bring Gracie, our dog. The menu is diverse and the food is excellent. The servers are very pleasant and attentive. Today we were served by Tina who was terrific. She brought a bowl of water for Gracie, and checked back with us several times. I am impressed by the way the workers help each other, and although rushed, are very pleasant and accommodating. This has become our breakfast place. read more
