I personally felt like this car wash was over hyped. The pricing definitely went up. Car washes are expensive (around 20-30 dollars). Were not thorough in some areas (they sprayed down with water but didn't wipe and I ended cleaning the wet mud myself.) Other than that it's an okay car wash. If it was cheaper I'd go back but for the quality I received I am better off going to other car wash just a couple of blocks away on lincoln and California. read more

This is the best car wash around. If you see 3-4 cars ahead of you, that means you will wait a while. They don't rush the job and clean every inch of the car. They completely wipe down the interior, windows (inside & out), vacuum (remove mats and clean separately). Hand wash and dry paying attention to tire rims etc. After wiping the car down, they use an air hose to make sure the locks and all nooks and crannies are dry. In addition, these are very honest people! I had set aside $4 to put in the tip box. As they were finishing, I looked in my purse and couldn't find it. I thought I may have left it at the counter where I paid or dropped it on the floor. No luck. I got in the car, and there was the money...in the cup holder. They never touched it. I love that kind of honesty. This place gets my highest recommendation. Your car will look just like it did when you drove it off the sales lot, brand new. read more

Great car wash by far they actually take the time to clean your car and they do a very nice job

I am more than a little surprised by all the 5-star reviews. I got the basic $14 wash which (contrary to the confusing sign) includes interior and exterior cleaning. I got the car home and looked it over carefully, and the exterior was not close to clean. There were leaf stains that looked like they hadn't been touched, the top center of the car was still filthy, the frame around the hatchback door was still filthy, the windows were not cleaned at the edges... I could go on. This was just slightly better than the job you get at a $4 automatic wash. The kicker is, when I arrived there were maybe 5 cars in line ahead of me, and it took 70 MINUTES until they even started on my car. Really a waste of time and money, won't be going close to the place again. read more

Definitely the best hand car wash in the city. I've been to others around town and no one is as attentive and thorough as First Wheel. There are a variety of car wash packages, but I opt for the #4. The #4 is $12 and gets you the standard exterior car wash, a vacuum and clean of your interior and floor mats, and Armor All on your tires or your dashboard. I wish I would have found this place sooner!!! They do such a thorough job and pay attention to detail. They lifted the hood and cleared leaves I had no idea were under there and vacuumed every nook and cranny. Their prices are shockingly low... - I originally left a positive review before realizing this happened. I take back everything I said. I got a brand new crispy white deep scratch on top of my car after getting a car wash here. It had a deep groove and scrapped paint on the sides of the groove. I didn't have proof of it so they just kept denying and denying and said it was probably already there. The younger guy that was at the register even agreed that it looked like a brand new deep scratch and told me to come back the next day since they were closing. The owners wouldn't admit anything the next day and probably covered their tracks. Conveniently their cameras in the cleaning bay didn't work. The scratch was on top of the car where nothing ever gets to touch it except the car wash guys. The workers are sketchy and denied even the possibility that something might have gotten under their towels while cleaning. If that wasn't enough, the car wash itself was seriously lacking. It still had bird crap and lots of grunge left behind. I regret going here. I have washed my car several times after and the scratch never looked as new and apparent as it did when I brought it here. I went to this place to get an interior cleaning and exterior wash and they did a great job. Yes, there were spots that they missed, but my car was pretty dirty after the snow and messy weather, so compared to before, the after look was amazing! read more

Yes, they have raised the prices incrementally, but they vacuum and wash by hand with care. I have always had great results, similar to a full detail, for 20 bucks. With kids and crumbs and sand being a regular part of my car experience, having a thorough cleaning for $20 saves a ton of grief. Well worth the small cost. read more

Everyone was so nice, and the price was a great value. They do such an awesome that you'll want to leave a big tip, and you can't put tip on the credit card. no doubt they do a good job, but lately they have been charging more without first mentioning the change in price. I sell cars and was getinng cars detailed there more than twice a month. I use to have my cars detailed here, but they forced me to go to snappy. I took their suggestion and geting me cars detailed , better, faster, and at a great price. Thanks first wheel for telling me about snappy. Special thanks to the mom who always finds a way to overcharge, and tells me to go to snappy! They lost my business of over 2500 a year, for trying to charge 10 or 15 bucks here and there. What a shame. read more

Fabio at First Wheel is top notch. I had a problem with my car running correctly and Fabio diagnosed it was a bad head gasket for free.
