Looking for lunch after a meeting at Starbucks which is a few doors down. Note to Manager/Owner: Storefront needs better signage! We were literally standing in front of the store but almost walked away thinking FW is a steakhouse given the current signage. As we sat down, the server walked by our table to show us the order from the next table over - it was the Seafood Curry and it looked so good, I changed my order. SALMON PLATE (4/5) - Really good, a bit over-cooked and heavy-handed with the salt. Salmon doesn't need much of either of those. Steamed vegetables on the side were unusually tasty. Most places cook them until they're mush. Not here, perfectly al dente and flavorful. SEAFOOD CURRY (4/5) - Solid creamy coconut-milk based curry with good seafood show. Shrimp were sweet. Served with brown rice that the server recommended and after trying the rice, I know why. Something addicting about that brown rice! I am a fan. This place hits the spot in terms of what the marketplace needed - a straightforward, affordable seafood grill. A nice quick service seafood spot for lunch. I came here last week on a whim and was pleasantly surprised with my meal. I had the tilapia bowl,which was plenty for me, served with veggies and rice. The searing on the tilapia was a nice textural component to each bite. It was attractive and tasty. I couldn't tell if the rice was seasoned, but it tasted a bit off. Their grilled fish tacos are delicious! They are also gluten free - because they use corn tortillas. I got the Mahi mahi tacos and it was super moist and tender. I skipped their house made sauce though, since it probably had dairy in it! I believe this is a local chain of restaurants with quality food. I highly doubt the fries are gluten free - but they're delicious as well! Don't even get me started on all the other goodies they have - which I can't eat! lol Overall I really enjoyed my taco combo. The first time I tried this place, I'm lovin' it with :D The food are fresh, simple, and delicious!! It has tacos, burritos, bowls, wraps, pasta, and plates. If you decide to try one of the plates, simply pick one of the main dishes; they are mostly grilled, from Salmon, Short Ribs, Chicken Katsu, Shrimp, Shrimp Skewer, Barramundi, Tilapia, Swai, and Mahi Mahi; all the plates comes with 2 side orders. The side orders including, French Fries, Steam Veggie, Green Salad, Grilled Zucchini, Brown Rice, and Steam Rice. I always have the Grilled Zucchini as a side order, the Grilled Zucchini is unbelievable juicy and gigantic!! Hahahaa... The service is very friendly, and the restaurant is pretty clean, but I always enjoy the food outside the store. They have few seats available outside the store, with the Starbucks next to it, here became one of my favorite locations to have lunch. read more

One of the best dishes in the Menu, is the Wild Fish & Wild Fries. The quality of the fish is really good and also the cream that they put on top is really good. It is a bit pricey but it is worth every penny. Overall, a good place to eat!!! read more

I had their fish tacos on numerous occasions. They're solid. Everything from the slaw to the fish is delicious. The mango compliments the slaw nicely and the fish is grilled just right. I've had their mahi burger which is pretty good. They special ordered a fish battered burger as I wasn't sure if I should get the fish and chips, or the burger. Was a good combo, and the fries are actually super good. Seasoned nicely and keeps it's crispness. Check this place out if you want good fish tacos. Unfortunately the person that assisted us Saturday night wasn't all that customer-service oriented. The male who assisted us assured me that the Thai Chicken plate wasn't all that spicy--and it was 'mild'. He also rang it up as Veggie Thai plate and I'm glad I caught his error: as it had to be corrected after I paid and looked at my receipt. We were the only customers in the store, and this person really wasn't listening or paying attention to either myself or my husband. My husband also ordered a specific fish and asked 'where' it came from. If the fish is fresh (which it states on the menu)...WHERE is the fish from? China, Phillipines, Vietnam? It should state on the box or label coming into the walk-in area...so this employee apparently doesn't know much about the food coming into the restaurant and remains ignorant. My meal arrived hot, but the spice level was a good MEDIUM level and much too spicy for my palate. I was very disappointed that this persons 'mild' certainly wasn't and I won't be returning again. I'm assuming the level can't be 'lowered' as the sauce may be warmed from a packet, etc. It wasn't worth complaining or bringing it to this persons attention either: with the lack-of-focus they showed us from the beginning. The guy that seemed to be the manager, spent his time chatting with a group of his friends instead of helping the customers to order when it got buzy during lunch hour. The batter was slightly spicy, we ate them all. I had the grilled shrimp with home seasoning with the grilled zucchini and brown rice. The seasoning was excellent but the shrimp were a touch overcooked. The grilled zucchini were seared just right and tasted very sweet, but they too were a touch overcooked. The brown rice was perfect. My son had the shrimp spaghetti. The shrimp were good, the sauce was decent, but the spaghetti was overcooked. My wife had the grilled chicken bowl. Again the chicken was excellent and cooked perfectly the vegetables were, ... You guessed it overcooked. We will be back. read more

All the side items are good too. The food is always seasoned well and although it is cook to order, it is ready quickly. What pushes this review to five stars is the portions. I took my daughter out for lunch and she asked for salmon. After a quick search on Yelp, I decided to take her to Fish's Wild. I had the chicken katsu with steamed veggies and salad, she had the kid's salmon and rice. The vegetables were cooked to perfection and well seasoned. The chicken wasn't greasy and the salmon was very good. Portions are big. They were friendly and helpful with my kid's multiple requests (spoon, more sauce, different sauce, etc). I tried this place a few weeks ago on a recommendation from my boss. He recommended the mahi mahi tacos, which were great. I've been back there 2 or 3 times since, and I've had something different every time. All of their food is pretty good. It's fresh, healthy, and reasonably priced. I even like their complimentary water a lot!! Their service is very good though. The last time I went there, I ate there. When I was eating I just watched the manager Andy. It was pretty crowded, and he was able to help all the customers with any questions they had with the menu, take their orders, bus tables, and help back in the kitchen. Everyone seemed to get what they ordered without too much of a wait and Andy didn't seem overwhelmed at all. I'll continue to tell everyone I know about this place. "Wow!" was the first word that came to mind when I took my first bite of my shrimp wrap with white rice. The flavors were well balanced - savory with a nice kick of black pepper spiciness. The wrap itself was toasted first, so there is a nice crisp to the occasional bite. Extra props for using washable, reusable metal flatwares (forks etc) instead of going the easy unsustainable plastic route. Would be even more awesome for environmentalists if they choose to use reusable cups instead of paper cups. The restaurant claims to use sustainable seafood...easy to say, but besides slapping the tagline on its takeout menu, no other information was provided...so it's questionable. This was place amazing!! Came to Cupertino from Vancouver, BC and wanted to have something healthy to eat. I yelped this place and the ratings did not disappoint. The service was amazing and everything was SO SO healthy. Encountered a customer who was incredibly rude to the cashier; the cashier handled it with ease. The woman came in with all of these allergies and was asking what all of the ingredients were in everything. Just a very disrespectful woman, I was pleasantly surprised at how professional the cashier handled the situation. The staff mainly spoke Spanish but spoke English well enough to be able to communicate with the customers. It was one of my favourite places in Cupertino! read more

With the amount of chicken and sides they give you, you can comfortably split it into 2 meals or stuff it into one very satisfying meal. Kudos on how they handle the steamed veggies. So many places overcook their cabbage into oblivion or try to add flavor by adding a ton of salt or oil. Not here. Just simple steaming done right to bring out the best in the veggies.
