Love a good gas station taco spot! This was such a cute little hidden gem. Nice easy simple legit Tacos. Super popular even on this random weekday. A little dry for me, but good flavor!

This is a great taco spot if you're in the area! The tacos were good and they come out hot, I tried pastor and steak and both were excellent. Had to try the quesadillas as well and they were perfect! The red salsa is super tasty, the green packs some heat, tacos came with cilantro, onion and limes. The staff were kind and very helpful. I came on a particularly busy day (3 tacos and 2 quesadillas took about 40min), but they had phone and to go orders pretty constantly, it may have just been the worst time. The shop is a little run down, but it's clean and you come for the tacos not the vibes. Overall this was a great taco spot and definitely try it if you're in the area. Also call your order in ahead, that seems to be what most people do!

Still some of the best tacos I've had! Juicy and tender in flavor, perfectly spicy salsa on the side, limes, cilantro, and raw onions on the side for a perfect topping. Simple store front in a gas station parking lot, with dine in seating available. My advice would be to call in when you're about 10 min away for a pickup order. Straight and to the point tacos! Al pastor and steak are a win. Yum.

Looking for a quick authentic Mexican taco shop and this didn't disappoint. A hole in the wall, nothing fancy, but great tacos.

I've been wanting to try this little hole in the wall forever. Every time you drive by you can smell the goodness. And it did not disappoint. I had the steak taco and steak quesadilla - full of favor, and for a great price. Pro tip: call in your order.

I LOVE this place. LOVE it. They gave tripe ( which they serve regular or crunchy at your request) and lengua tacos which are to die for. Great job!

Delicious food, no frills place. Many order their food to go. I dined in which is essentially an enclosed porch added to the side of the building with 6 tables for 6. You order at the counter from a simple menu board. I tried the chicken, steak and pork tacos - one each. Good portion for lunch. Would want 6 tacos for dinner. They are small in size, but pack a punch with spicy sauces that come on the side except for the pastor. You can get cilantro and chopped onions added on top. The chicken meat is a little dry, but the sauce makes up for it. They have flour and corn tortillas. I opted for the corn which were made there and so good. Great taste. They double the tortillas for each taco. A number of beverage choices, including Mexican Coke. Loved this local place. Really tasty.

I didn't have to ask for extra anything. The staff was so sweet! Wish they had sides but some of the best places come with just the essentials. Def my new favorite spot for tacos!

Hands down the best breakfast tacos in Dallas! So simple and sooo delicious. I especially love their hot sauces. The green sauce packs a punch and super yummy. This place is a part of a gas station and they offer seating on the side of the shop. We decided to take it to go. Waited only about 10 minutes and they pack it up very well. The service is always great, quick and friendly. All their tacos are super authentic and love the egg and potato tacos. They add a lot of egg! The onions and fries add so much flavor. Best part is the cost is super inexpensive and only about $13 for 4 large tacos including tax which will more than satisfy your hunger. You have to visit this hidden gem if you haven't yet!!

It was my first visit, and it was absolutely worth the wait. I've seen all the Instagram posts, and I finally got my chance to experience it for myself. Since it was Taco Tuesday, I had to order the tacos and the ceviche. I snagged a cozy corner seat so I could take in the entire atmosphere, and everything was spot on. The food was delicious, the ambiance was beautiful, and the bartender was even kind enough to take my picture. From the service to the vibe, this place exceeded my expectations. It will definitely be one of the first places I think of for a date night!

LOVE this place. God bless the people who came up with Las Palmas…read more First of all, please never change the queso- it is heaven sent and we always take it to-go (I'm NEVER leaving the rest behind) and it tastes even better the next day. This queso is probably the best I've ever had. BTW it is a LIL spicy but I can let that slide. Another great appetizer option would be the Nachos Al Carbon with wagyu. Super good too & honestly you can even order it for just one person as a main dish-- the serving size is big enough. BUT THE REAL STAR OF THE SHOW AT LAS PALMAS ARE THE WAGYU FAJITAS!!! Incredible. Comes with flour or corn tortillas, beans, rice, and obviously the works: sour cream, guacamole, lettuce. You know the vibes. Speaking of vibes, they're always there at Las Palmas. It is always busy but I genuinely don't care and never mind waiting an hour and a half for our table. It's worth it. This place is a confirmed staple in Dallas. Probably come here once a month if not more often. Thank you for great food and good service too- that's hard to come by nowadays. TRY THIS PLACE OUT! This is your sign!

Now, I will note that the parking proved to be a touch challenging, and the grounds were a bit damp from the rain though, I suppose that is simply to be expected. It certainly did not dampen my spirits, because the moment I stepped inside, I was utterly captivated. The decor is absolutely magnificent, adorned with a curated collection of cowboy hats and photographs that beautifully capture the true, authentic spirit of Dallas. It has such character! I initially settled in at the intimate little bar, where the bartender greeted me with wonderful hospitality. To begin, I ordered a Spicy Mezcal Margarita an exceptionally flavorful choice that was executed flawlessly. After a lovely, brief chat with the bartender, the sun began to break through the clouds, warming up the day beautifully. Naturally, I decided to move out to the patio to fully immerse myself in the vibrant afternoon energy. The overall atmosphere, service, and decor are nothing short of extraordinary. For lunch, I treated myself to the Ribs, and they were divine truly delicious and prepared to perfection. Between the exceptional cuisine and the thoroughly satisfying ambiance, this establishment is an absolute triumph. I shall most certainly be returning

Chris our server was very friendly and knowledgeable. He took his time walking us through the menu and explaining what made El Carlos Elegante so special. The drinks were perfect. My wife loved her Desert Flor while I thoroughly enjoyed my Modelo Micheleda. Her Surf and Turf one hitter was exceptional. I have to say my Crab Cake was just ok. It tasted a little pasty and very heavy on the bread. The Pulpo was absolutely amazing. Perfect texture and the sauce it was served almost had me licking the plate. The El Machete was incredible from its presentation, to the freshness of the corn tortilla, to the quality of the meat inside. Definitely recommend this. We really liked our Okra + Shishito course, we just wished it had more okra in it. The two things I loved about the Al Pastor was of course the sauce it was served on but the fact that I got to enjoy it like a steak. It was served sliced on a bias like flank steak. Typically Al Pastor is finely chopped and served in tacos and burritos, so this was a different eating experience for me. And of course it was delicious as well. We cannot wait to come back and try more of the menu.

It was glorious and bountiful--there was ample dressing, cheese, and other ingredients I'm forgetting that made it unique. Unfortunately, during our second visit, the Caesar salad was significantly different. I think they used the same dressing, but there was very little of it. There was nearly no cheese and the other ingredients were similarly sparse. It was still good, but it in no way was the greatest I'd ever tried. I hope that this was a 1-off experience, as it truly was the best. I will report back next time. Service was great both times- they were very careful about my Cilantro request (none) and even though they gladly prepared dishes without it, they also made a list of things that already had none by default. Salmon ceviche, Pork al pastor, Carne asada, and the machete were also very good. The machete is a specialty- it had the house made masa and fillings can vary.
