Never coming here again. This restaurant probably provided the most terrible service I have ever experienced, and for something that could have been done in 2 seconds. They gave me my order with a huge tear at the side of the bag, which made me think that my order is going to rip through the bag at any point. I come back and try to ask them for another bag, except no one cares to help me out for a good 20 min! One of the ladies even looked in my direction but she just looked away right after. After she looked away, I yelled "EXCUSE ME" twice, and no response. There was even another worker like 2 feet away from me when I yelled it out, but both just completely ignored me. I dont know if it's the damn loud music they play at the restaurant or what, but I'm pretty sure they heard me. And why is the music even so loud? I had to turn around to see if there was a band or group playing live music in there. Wanna know the best part? I finally got one worker's attention and asked that I need another bag, and this dude has the audacity to say "oh" and just continue to help the other customers. I had to check my pulse at this point because I thought that maybe I died and I'm a ghost, explaining why these guys are ignoring me. After 20 min I get another worker's attention and finally get my bag. At this point, my fries became mashed potatoes from the sogginess and waiting so long. Terrible service. I placed a DoorDash order to pickup. I got there 10 minutes after my pick up time and then still had to wait another 10 to 15 minutes. My BF heard this place was better than In & Out burger so we decided to try. The menu was pretty pricey to me personally. I ordered the beacon cheese hotdog. It was surprisingly good. Ok, I consider myself a burger-connoisseur. Somehow, Five Guys is a burger staple for me. They are super yummy. You can't go wrong with the Bacon Cheeseburger, all-the-way (which means everything on it). Careful though, if you add jalapeños, they are not the pickled kind (they are just sliced raw jalapeños). The cajun fries are a MUST. I am obsessed with their electronic tech-savvy soda fountain. I just found out that if you select a type of soda (e.g., Fanta), it gives you options for various flavors (like 7 flavors). I tried the Peach Fanta, and just about died--it was heaven. My Dad selected the root beer, and it gave him the option to select regular or vanilla root beer. I swear, there must be about 50-60 types of sodas in this one dispenser. Unbelievable. I've been meaning to try Five Guys for like the past two years so I was stoked when I found out there was a Five Guys being built in Brentwood. I understand the appeal of Five Guys. You get to build your own burger without being charged extra for the toppings. They have cajun fries (that's a win for me). They have free peanuts (quirky freebie). Fast service. Bigger burgers (but a little more expensive). They sell hot dogs along side their burgers (I love weenies). Only gripe is that they don't sell milkshakes. What kind of burger place doesn't have milkshakes? I guess their interesting soda machine and various drink choices makes up for it but...I really wanted that milk shake. I ordered a little bacon cheeseburger with bacon, grilled onions, and hot sauce. I also ordered a regular size of cajun fries and a soda. I picked up a little tray of peanuts for myself. Peanuts are good. Salted and roasted. You must break open the shells yourself. The little burgers cost $5ish bucks so I was guessing it wasn't that small. Little burgers are actually one patty burgers while the "regular" burgers are two patties. The size of the burger is pretty big and the taste is hearty and meaty so I was satisfied with it. I'm used to burgers coming with lettuce and tomato so when I realized I forgot to add those to my order I felt bad for myself. The toppings I did add happened to be pretty good. The bacon was plentiful and a perfect crisp. The hot sauce was a nice add on but not uniquely their own. The grilled onions were okay. I do prefer the grilled onions at In-N-Out because their grilled onions are more caramelized. Their cheese is better, in my opinion, as well. The fries are pretty good. I didn't think they were too salty but many people did. The cajun spices were not as special and pronounced as I thought they'd be but it was a nice spice. If you are going to order fries, just get regular size and split with another person because there were so many fries in my bag, I swear I had to eat my way to my actual cheeseburger. Drinks are refillable so I recommend. Not the best burger I've ever had in the bay (as the posters inside would suggest) but I wouldn't mind going back. Had our order to go last night and it was good. I like that I can order from an app on my iPhone and customize it to how I want it. I have the mini bacon cheese burger which was good. The size was perfect and since I put what I wanted on it, well it was good! The fries were soft and I prefer them a little bit more done. We love Five Guys, it's super close and our go-to. They never mess up our order and the burgers are some of the best. They even number the burgers which can be pretty convenient. The Cajun fries are amazing and always plentiful. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because sometimes the fries are a bad batch so it ruins the whole fry, not just a few. Sometimes i'll get a shake because for a set price you can add unlimited flavors which is a great deal. They also have a good variety of drinks. Knocked off a star for sometimes slow service. We walked in to a line of 5 deep. While waiting in line I witnessed the guy making the fries drop the fry basket on the ground. I was thinking he would put it in another sink to get cleaned but he put it back in the fryer to clean it off. Put it back on the shelf and add fries to the basket. Not thinking right we turned around and walked out. We called 5 minutes later to inform the manager and "she is too busy to answer the phone right now and could I call back later". I like Five Guys- the burgers are good and I like the way they make their fries. Don't have many complaints- except that they get my order wrong 60% of the time. I usually do pick up- and don't realize that there is a mistake until I get home. I went tonight- and my order was wrong once again. I asked for mushrooms on my burger but they put onions instead. Normally, I'm fine with eating a burger that isn't exactly what I asked for- because mistakes happen and I'm not all that picky (I'm also not about to drive all the way back to tell them to remake it). But tonight, they have crossed the line. I absolutely DESPISE onions. Taking them off does nothing - their taste lingers. Would appreciate it if the employees paid closer attention to the orders. Love this place. For burgers and fries it beats Micky D's or burger king. This and in and out, but don't expect this place to be a regular stop on your diet routine unless your trying to gain weight and send your cholesterol skyward then this is for you.
