Who knew this little whole in the wall would offer a huge 8oz fish sandwich with a side of slaw for $6. It's certainly enough food for 2 people. The fish is made while you wait and takes less than 10 minutes. I also tried a hot dog with kraut there and it frankly it's not worth mentioning. Get the fish. Let me know how the fries were.

Not the classiest of places, but man do they know how to deep fry!

No inside seating but their chili hot dogs and fish are iconic. Hot with chili pickle and onion are my go to.

Not good, fries are always cold and greasy. The buns are not fresh like the used to be and not good overall.

I got the famous fish sandwich and it was ok. I love the atmosphere because it seems like a little boardwalk shop.

Everyone says the big fish sandwich is awesome and it is, but their mushroom Swiss burger is probably one of my favorites and ranks up there with five guys burgers.

However... for the price, there should be no complaints. Their burgers, I have to say, are one of the best i've had. The homemade chili sauce they have for the dogs and burgers was awesome, too! And their fries? AWESOME! Fresh cut, crunchy, and just delicious. The only thing I did not like was the cheese sauce they used for the fries. It tasted processed, and like it was found from a jar of cheez wiz from the 1980's. Another compliment to the business goes to the older gentleman who I assumed was the manager. He was extremely friendly, and was very courteous and involved in making sure the customers were happy.

We were then told we couldn't order food because the cook was outside for the next 30 minutes on a smoke break! We were not about to wait 30 minutes to order food. It was 5:00 pm! That's when people usually eat. This was unacceptable. The only two employees in the place and neither of them were working! Very unacceptable customer service. This place needs better supervision and a manager on duty.

From the moment I walked in, the owners greeted me and immediately walked me through the whole process. The menu is extensive, but they explained it all and were more than happy to take any other questions. You can tell these two love what they do with so much fun hot dog decor on every wall, Springdale High School gear draping the walls, and such creative and honor for their craft of delivering top notch food to their community! I ordered the Kansas City Chief Hot Dog, the Elote Hot Dog, and a side of Notorious RBC fries!! I added on a Turners Tea and a pack of Chocolate Crinkle cookies!! Let me just say... ILLL BE BACKKK again and again!! I got the order to go and they individually packed my ranch and my lime so that I could dress the items when I was ready to eat. The Kansas City Chief was amazing. Sauerkraut and Thousand Island bubbling out of the bun... but just that snap of the hot dog and perfect bun to hold all of the culinary chaos in. The Elote Hot Dog was just like you'd want. The lime juice popping off with the fresh sweet corn and spices!! The Notorios RBC should definitely be notorious such flavor with the ranch, bacon, chili, and cheese but the fresh French fries held up and had crisp crunch throughout. Turners Iced Tea in a carton.... That's just true yinzer code! And the cookiessss... it really was a brookie and mannnn it was decadent and moist... almost as if they baked them just that morning!! The price is soooo reasonable. The vibe is Pittsburgh dive. The food will knock your socks off! Hot dog. Hot dog. Hot diggity dog!!!

There are additional shaded tables outside, too. The staff is very friendly, and made us feel welcome. Our hot dogs were terrific, (natural casing, and they did have the satisfying "snap!" as advertised) and our cookies were also outstanding. There are plenty of sides, too. One menu item included a trio of mac & cheese, baked beans, and coleslaw. If you are a vegetarian, you will likely be able to find something to eat here. We will definitely stop back here if we're in the area again!

With old pictures on the wall of special memories and even one of John with Steve Harvey! You can tell that there is love in what they make here. They are gearing towards all farm to table, featuring all of their fresh meats by @meatguyzpa, and you can tell the difference in everything we tried. I loved everything I ate here. Somehow their chili sauce sticks to the fries, and the cheese turns to cheesy goodness in front of you and makes a beautiful dish. The small portion was the size of my head! Their dogs are snappy, burgers have tons of toppings (I'm totally making a chili cheese burger the next time I go) and their chicken cutlet sandwich is off the charts! We also got their new gyros to go; and they were great even 15 minutes later when we got home. Loaded with meat and fillings, you can feel Greek heritage in this one. Happy Eating!

I wouldn't say it was hot though. The burger I ordered was thin which for the price makes sense. I actually like thin burgers so it didn't bother me in the least. We also ordered chili and cheese fries (we did work out prior to dinner hoping to balance!). The cheese was velveta slices and the fries are on the thicker side so I prefer New Brighton Hot Dog Shoppes chili and cheese fries. They are cash only so be prepared to visit the cash machine near by.
