When you walk in the feel is a modern mixed with retro. Framed articles on the wall from sources that have awarded their food. The price is higher than an in-n-out double double but the burger is a lot larger too. I really like all their options for toppings, grilled mushrooms and onions. They also have a more diverse menu which includes hot dogs. This is where I'll be coming next time I have an in-n-out craving. Good quality burger for a little less than a restaurant. Hell no my burger had no pickles and had tomato thank goodness I wasn't allergic to tomatoes. Ordered for pickup the other day, two burgers and an order of fries. When I got there to pick up they said it'll be a minute for the fries, no problem. My order came up and the girl handed it to me, I went to the cash register to pay and the girl looked at me like she didn't know what I wanted, I told her I wanted to pay, she said she thought I already payed. I hadn't payed so she gave me the total and I payed and left at least $4 for the tip jar, feeling like a good person because I could've walked out with free food, but when I got home, I found that I only had one burger and some super under cooked fries. The burger was awesome and we split it, the fries were super lame and soggy but I guess I should've ordered them crispy. After spending almost 40 bucks on food me and my date were extremely disappointed to find out that 5 guys does not offer ranch. What type of food establishment doesn't offer ranch? Let alone one that sells cajon fries,burgers and prides themselves in offering a wide variety of toppings and condiments. Update: After a week we got a (missed) call from Five Guys customer service, they left a voice mail stating that we would get a full refund, which we indeed received shortly after. Because of this I've edited this review accordingly, even though off course the local experience at their Farfield location stands, at least they do follow-up on responses in a more than fair manner! In short: bad food, uninterested staff, don't get what you payed for = spend your money elsewhere! Longer version: Ordered through Google, 4 burgers with fries and 2 shakes, my family all choose custom options for their bacon burgers. What did we get? 4 plain burgers with some random things on it (if you're lucky) and my wife literally got a plain bun with a paddy on it, nothing else. We got 2 paper bags handed to us at pick-up and the second bag felt like it had our drinks, turns out that they you fries in drink cups.... We spent a total of $72 dollars on this mess and ended up with disappointed kids. Tried to contact them, twice, but you'll get no response from their "24/7" service. I am dead ass convinced the workers here either dont know how to listen, write down, or assemble an order properly. This is like the 5th time they messed up my order... I called in said bacon cheese burger mayo lettuce tomato ONLY.... pick up the order it says on the receipt, bacon Mayo lettuce tomato, this tells me the person that took my order understood me and took down my order correctly.... ok perfect get home. Seen three guys working the shift. Not five! Two guys working the back room perhaps or called it a night. Ordered a large Cajun fries. No, not large but freakishly huge! The paper bag that was handed to me had an overflow of fries. Not sure if this is a standard serving size, but if that's the case I've never seen anything like it. Anyhow, it made up for the long wait and I was a happy customer. The bacon cheeseburger was off the hook boy! I love the simplicity. The dining area is kept clean. This review is largely based on their app ordering system. My bf and I downloaded their app, chose this location as our pick up, and customized our order. Ordering was really simple and hassle free. We were surprised that after ordering the app had said that our food would be ready for pickup in 7 minutes. (with the exception of fries, they don't cook until you arrive). I live just a wee bit further than 7 minutes so I expected that if the app was accurate my food should be ready by the time I got there.... and it was! I was standing in line and another family wasn't ready so they said I could go ahead of them. I told them I had already ordered my food online so it was OK. The attentive cashier took note of my comment and yelled back to the kitchen "the online order is here!" and had my fries cooking right away. From there I didn't bother letting the cashier know I had an online order since she already knew and sat down and waited for our fries which was ready in 5 minutes. When we left we checked our burgers to make sure that they hadn't gotten cold while we drove out there... and they were perfect! The only thing I wish was that there was maybe a visual to the app so we knew what they food we were ordering looked like. We had no idea that a cheeseburger was actually a double and a little cheeseburger was a single. We ended up having way too much food, but it was so delicious. As someone who has a severe peanut allergy, I am disappointed to see that they have started allowing people to throw peanuts all over the restaurant (including on inside and outside tables) again. I thought this was something that was deemed unsanitary during the pandemic, and I am sad that I can no longer eat here due to this practice. Im going to review this place on two aspects, food and dining. FOOD- 5 stars The food was fantastic! I got a "Little bacon cheeseburger" "all the way" (lettuce, tomato, pickles, mayo, ketchup, mustard, grilled onions, grilled mushroom) added green peppers. The meat was flavorful and had a really nice char that you can taste, not a flavor you get very often with "fast burgers." The veggies were nicely fresh and crispy! I also got the cajun fires to go with my meal, those were really good too, not to high on the fire scale but just right with the heat. I will warn however, they fry their fries in peanut oil, so if you have peanut allergies do NOT eat the fires. They also have boxes of complimentary peanuts that you can snack on before you meal is ready. DINING- NO stars! This place is filthy! Nearly all the tables were littered with peanut shells and the remains of previous dinners food. There was a huge puddle of soda maybe? underneath the table we were sitting at as well as straw wrappers. The countertop where you place your order was wet, and the trash cans were overflowing. Recently came back here and the service was much better. I came while waiting for my haircut next door, so I came about 30 minutes after the place opened. The staff was much friendlier, but it did take about ten minutes to get my food. I ordered a cheeseburger, Cajun fries and a drink. The burger got a little messy, but since then I've heard to not put so much stuff in it. It was quite tasty though. Fries were a miss for me. The Cajun fries were too salty and I didn't end up finishing them. I will probably give this place one more try to see if the hype other people give me is true! read more

Oh my goodness! When we found out Five Guys was still open during the SIP, we were thrilled! Food is still awesome and the service outstanding. It was ordered online and I went to the store to pick it up. I was offered a drink for my wait (really not much of a wait at all!!) Nice people there too! And, they did an awesome job on our burgers, as usual! Wonderful, juicy burgers. Good sized and well put together. Fresh and great tasting fries! We will order again and again from Five Guys. After my first experience dining at another Five Guys location, years back in the Sacramento area, I was a bit hesitant to dine here. My group insisted on grabbing a burger here, so I decided to just give it a try. The employees here are very friendly and attentive, which is always nice. I'm very pleased with how great the food tasted here, since the previous location I tried sucked. My cheeseburger was made just right, so I gobbled it right up. Must let you know!! I went to this particular five guys and the man took my order and rang me up at the cash register. I walked away from the counter and the man proceeded to go to the grill and make my burger with the same gloves on, touching the patty, cheese and condiments. I stood there completely grossed out. After he finished I asked him, if he had changed his gloves, he told me "I always change my gloves" which was not true, I saw him. I told him I cannot afford to get sick. We are in a pandemic, let alone all the gross things on register screen. I left and threw the food in the trash. Waste of money. Will not go back to this five guys. Terrific first-time experience. Wandered in on a busy weekend after long drive in the country. Greeted right away and walked through the menu. Got a plenty big 'Little Burger," large fries and a drink. Pondered if bill was gonna be a lot for fast food, or cheap for casual dining. I'd say it's right in between on both category and price. Watched them cook - so interesting! My meal was ready the second it was wrapped, while I was still playing soda machine roulette. It was about 10 minutes after ordering, but I wasn't stressed because I watched them make it and knew it wasn't being ignored. They *were* busy, though. Burger with grilled onions and other stuff was terrific! I'm watching my diet, so I ate my half of the fries first. They might have been a little overcooked, but didn't taste that way. Pros: Nice juicy burgers with all of the toppings you want. The grilled onions were still firm, not soggy. The burgers are a decent size. The "regular" actually comes with two burger patties so I only ordered a "little cheeseburger." One order of french fries is large enough for two people to share. Cons: The grilled mushrooms on my burger was very rubbery; most likely canned. The fries were soggy. My friends and I decided to share both the regular fries and the "cajun" style fries. The regular fries had no flavor at all. I didn't care much for the cajun fries either, but that may just be a personal preference. All in all, it is an "ok" place to eat and I wanted to try the new burger joint. But in the end, I will most likely be going just one block down to In-N-Out in the future. read more

First time trying Five Guys up here in Fairfield. Just about the same as the one in San Leandro. Just a couple observations: - the food is a little greasy - extremely expensive I came with my mom, grandparents, and cousin. We got 4 burgers, 4 drinks, and some fries. It cost nearly $70! That's very overpriced, especially for something greasy that looks flattened by a frying pan. I've had better Five Guys, more or less better burgers in general, in my life. This Five Guys could use better chefs who can make better buns, fry patties without burning the edges, and add some love to each burger they prepare. read more

Came here on a Thursday afternoon and ordered 2 Burgers, 1 Fry, and a drink. My girlfriend and I waited over 45 minutes for this order. As well as having customers that came after us have their order before ours. We took it to go and when I got home, it's exactly what I expected. The burgers were burnt and the fries were crumbs. I know it wasn't a short staffing issue either because there was 5 employees "working" at the time. Management needs to take their employees more accountable for the quality assurance for Five Guys as a franchise. read more

So....my husband was raving and raving about this place from his bachelor days. For a man who barely has learned to cook - I surmise what good food is to him. Obviously since he is a BBQ grillmaster now he has opinions on ribs and meats. Well first impression of Five Guys is the nice color/retro theme feel. It was like a throwback restaurant. They have boxes of roasted free peanuts to snack on (so beware peanut allergic people). It was fairly empty when we arrived. I was not impressed with the prices - $5+ for a burger(so they BETTER be good). We got to choose our own toppings. The service was quick and polite enough. We got our burgers which where a bit of a sloppy mess. The bun was soggy and the meat was subpar...reminescent of microwaved hamburger patty. The flavor was nothing spectacular though we got an abundance of fries that were meh. Not quite crispy or soggy but felt more like a lump of baked potatoe. Though I must say the ketchup was amazing - you can't screw up on that. Haha. Just kidding. I wasn't impressed a bit overall. Rather go to In N Out. Or better yet I can make hamburger 100% better. I think great hamburger should have a toasted bun, slightly crisped patty though juicy on the inside with fresh crisp veggies. This was a notch above McDonald's cheeseburger. Though I know they tote fresh patties and fries...there's so much lacking. I regret the 700 calories I splurged there. First and last unfortunately for us. WORST FIVE GUYS EVER!!! I generally love five guys, probably my favorite burger chain but this location is absolutely terrible. They completely forgot the bacon on my bacon cheeseburger and barely melted the cheese at all. There was also so much mustard it covered the outside of the buns yet the ketchup was practically missing entirety. And the fries were absolute robbery! Five guys is known for giving incredibly generous portions of fries, a small being generally enough for two people. Well they barely gave us enough fries to fill the cup. Never go to this location if you are expecting a normal five guys experience. Probably fine if you just get a plain burger with no condiments but don't expect them to remember the bacon. read more

Stopped in last week and was disgusted with the store's cleanliness. Cobwebs were everywhere (under chairs, on tables, swinging from the lights) and the floor was incredibly greasy/slick. There was a "Now Hiring" sign on the door. Which led me to believe they are in desperate need of additional personnel. However, that is not an excuse for the current condition.
