My review is the same. Good quality, but even pricier now. At this time, it is $12.99 for a bacon cheeseburger, $5.99 for regular fries, and $2.99 for a regular drink. That means you're paying just almost $22 for a casual dining meal where you order and pick up your food at a counter. They don't have any gluten-free buns, but the fries are in a dedicated fryer that doesn't have gluten. You can get your burger on lettuce instead of any bun, and they ask if you have an allergy so it seems safe for those with celiac. read more

I ordered the grilled veggie sandwich, which was listed as grilled onions, mushrooms and peppers with lettuce and tomatoes. Sounded great. The reality was raw peppers, tasteless onions and rubbery canned mushrooms on a cheap bun that was literally falling apart. The sandwich had absolutely no taste, to the point that the bread of the bun was the most flavorful part of the whole thing. I ended up throwing it away. read more

gosh, I sort of hate giving 2 stars, but it's just so dam expensive, from a value perspective, I just can't. (With the app, you can eat at McDonald's four times for this price) burger, good stuff, not sure of the %mix, but it's a rich one for sure, no qualms, I like it, I'm not here for a salad. When looking through the reviews it seems nothing has changed over the years here so I doubt this review will help. First thing when you walk in and a group of kids working were goofing off which if my restaurant looked as dirty as this one did I would not be happy. I am not sure I would have ordered as once I went to get my soda and ketchup I would have seen not 1 area or table wiped down and the floor full of food. When I pay $50 for a fast food meal for 3 people I would certainly expect more. The order was correct but one burger had burnt bacon pieces and a small amount of bbq sauce. Was craving 5 guys. This past weekend before the snow storm I went to go pick up burgers for my family. I ordered 3 little bacon cheeseburgers all the way and one of them with jalapenos. The cashier on duty confirmer my order, "all the way"! My order came out unreasonably fast and I just thought great service. When I got home I saw that my Burger had no toppings and I was a little bit disappointed. Then I started to eat my meal I realized it was such a dry old tasting burger. the bread was stale and the meat Patty tasted like it was pre cooked a day ago. This Burger was the worst Burger experience I have ever had and I am not joking or over exaggerating at all I would have been better off going to McDonald's dollar menu. Today was a good day ! Great service and clean cooking . The cooks station was nice and tidy and the floors swept clean despite the many people snacking on peanuts. I've been to other Five Guys where the employees stood around and shells were everywhere. The cooks were very friendly and made our food promptly . My cousin and I both ordered cheeseburgers with sauteed onion,lettuce, tomato,pickles and mayo. We decided on a medium fry to share (enough for two) and they did come out way to salty and the guys made me a salt-less batch right away. They have great fries ,but the fresh cut type fries can take on alot of salt to them, so be careful when ordering you may need to ask for unsalted if you have high B.P as I do. The burger was fantastic !!! Thick meat patty just like I make at home and fresh toppings made it stellar . The cheese was my problem and I hope they fix it one day. Oh no, Five Guys! What have you done?! Sadness here for the second time in a row. Unfortunately, it's come time to revise my review. I was hoping the last time was just a blip. Everything but the actual food quality went wrong. The place was strewn with peanut shells & residue upon arrival. The staff was frustrated with the changeover to a new computer system and struggled through. They are always friendly, but we were informed that some of the staff had been clocking in fraudulently, so that's the reason for a new system?! We also noticed last time a sign for new hires. Hmmm... If that wasn't enough to put us off, BOTH of our orders were wrong! Mushrooms on my lettuce wrap? I h8 mushrooms! I ended u having to pick them all off. My son doesn't do cheeseburgers. Of course, there's that weird orangey cheese. We scraped it off, but...yuck! Please Five Guys do whatever it takes to make yourselves "great again", or we won't be back. read more

Came here for the first time for lunch. First off, for a place that calls themselves 5 guys, I expect to see 5 guys. Instead, I saw 3 guys and a girl. That's not why they got a 1 star review, but it seems a little fishy that, maybe this was a 4 guys...not a 5 guys. Anyways, the restaurant was empty, the employees were hanging out waiting for customers which I thought was odd since the entire restaurant was a disaster. Every table and chair was covered with crumbs. The floors were disgusting and eating in such a filthy place with the view of an abandoned broken down gas station was almost impossible. 1 star, because if this place is a dirty in back of house as it is in front, I can promise you I will never be eating here again. What can I say? I like Five Guys it's a great quick bite. The burgers can be topped with a multitude of fresh toppings for no extra charge. The potatoes come in fresh and are cut and prepped and fried in peanut oil on location. No frozen french fries here. Idaho potatoes only! Come hungry and leave satisfied. Went to get bugers cause we heard their burgers are great.. it was the worst experience I have ever had. The customer service was atrocious. The food mediocre. The hamburger was ok.. but the fries were either soggy or burnt, the drinks were in bottles so they couldn't mess that up.. the kid at the register was very rude.. we thanked him and didn't even get a grunt of acknowledgement, he barely paid attention.. the manager was standing in the back by the fryers and making the fries.. I politely asker her if she was the manager I told her that the kid at the register was rude and she told me 'oh ill talk to him' not I'm sorry about that.. just I'll talk to him.. look I understand that it has been hard to find people to work these days, but you just lost a customer for life.. they used to be good and the food was good.. not anymore its a shame. The copious amount of Cajun fries did not disappoint. Hot and fresh. Spicy and salty; if you don't like salt you'd be advised to skip these. I'm a fan. Burger...it was decent. My product was not as ordered with some fixings I didn't ask for. I wish the menu was more specific to indicate a "cheeseburger" is actually a double meat burger. Much too large for my appetite. She was right down our st turned around and went 15 mins down the road to "deliver another order" while she was 500ft from our house. Our food was soggy. It was irritating. Okay, here's the deal on 5 GUYS. All locations have the same look and layout. All locations get their food ingredients, equipment, grills, soda fountains, seasonings, peanuts, napkins and furniture from the same distribution network. The only thing that distinguishes each location, good or bad, is THE CREW. The crew completely determines the quality of your burger experience. That being said, THE CREW at this location did an okay job with my burger order. They grilled the burger right, got my requested toppings right, and assembled it all in a decent, eye appealing presentation. If 5 GUYS wants to become a world leader in burger deliciousness then they need to institute a standardized quality training system for THE CREW. Then they need to regularly audit each location to make sure that THE CREW isn't slacking off. Simple enough. Unfortunately, the prices of the burgers keep rising steadily here. Soon they will be charging $10. But I will still always chose a 5 GUYS over any other burger chain. It's all about the taste, and 5 GUYS delivers! No matter how sloppy it looks when you unwrap it. I love 5 Guys but this location is poorly run. Been here twice, restaurant was not busy, and both times crappy service. First visit I had ordered online 15mins before I arrived, but still waited another 5-10mins even though order was supposed to be ready. Second time was beyond absurd, ordered online (4 burgers) and it took nearly 50 minutes to be ready. They took other people's orders *after* I arrived and they got their food before I did. I had to ask for my food 3 times before they finally got their act together. This Glastonbury location is awful. read more

Five Guys is A-OK. We like to go there periodically. The burgers and fries are delicious. Unfortunately, we don't go there often enough to remember their regular "burger" on the menu is a DOUBLE. If you want a SINGLE patty, you have to order the "junior" or "little" version. I love that they have the Coke dispensers with the touch screens and all the different flavors you can add. This Five Guys location is average in service speed and enthusiasm and cleanliness. No big complaints. I would go here to eat again. read more

Like several other reviewers, I'll give this location the benefit of the doubt and chalk up the less than stellar experience to newly opened. We came on a Friday a few weeks after the soft opening. At 645, there we no parking spaces, at least 6-8 cars waiting for spots and blocking traffic, and several double parked perhaps picking up. Due to the lack of parking, we left. We returned the next day, late afternoon, well before the dinner rush. A handful of parking spots were available. The parking lot is the same nightmarish lot layout as Friendly's was and further impeded by piles of snow. I will avoid coming at actual meal times to avoid this. At least two cars came in the exit...it' s marked, i don't get it!! Secondly, turning left out of the exit, is nearly impossible as it is a heavily travelled street. Both times after waiting, we just turned right and went around the block. Now onto the food experience.... I went mainly for the fries which are usually spectacular. Skin-on, seasoned perfectly, hot and not soggy. I'm sorry to say this wasn't the case at this location. I felt our entire meal sat waiting for someone to call our number. The fries were not hot and were soggy. The taste was still good but disappointing otherwise. My cheeseburger was about what I've had in the past but again not as hot...the group behind the counter didn't seem to be in sync the way I've seen at other five guys. I'll chalk it up to getting into the groove. It also seemed like a longer than normal wait time for our order number to be called. We did easily find a seat, a high top on the window which was pleasant. The busing staff wiping tables seemed to be on the ball and there was a uniform turnover of tables. The drink machines are computerized coke products with a huge number of selection options. This seemed to stymie some customers who stood there for way longer than necessary. Like another reviewer noted, the area where people wait for their takeout orders tends to block the condiment table as well as access to the soda machines...not the most optimal setup. The price for 2 cheeseburgers, one tiny fry and one drink was $19... That seemed pricier than I remember. The burgers however are a good size and all extras are no charge. Is the cheeseburger worth $6.69...that's debatable. It was tasty but for me Five Guys is about the fries. I hope they get it together and start serving the fries that I've come to expect. read more

Things I like. The music, and today it's not ear splitting. The burgers are juicy and cooked through properly. The gentleman at the register was very friendly. And, today the fries were crispy, for once. Things I don't like. The dirty tables. Literally every table was dirty, ranging from grease and catsup to peanut shells and skins. The soggy roll for the burger. Wrap a hot burger in a roll in foil and you make a steam bath for the roll. The small pond of water in front of the soda machine. Apparently the machine is leaking. Let me start with, I love 5 Guys. I started going years ago when they were only in DC. Now they are everywhere. The food is consistently delicious. Fresh ground beef, fresh cut fries. I won't eat a burger nearly anywhere else. I had the little hamburger, Teagan had the little bacon cheeseburger. We shared a regular Cajun fry. Both burgers cooked to order and served exactly like we ordered. Fries were fresh and hot and plenty to share. The Glastonbury location is smaller than most but still big enough to accommodate 16 Boy Scouts, 4 leaders and everyone else who walked in. We went at lunchtime and there was a small line but the staff kept it moving. The cashier was friendly, the person calling out numbers and passing out the food was also friendly and loud enough to be heard over the crowded restaurant. Our Boy Scout troop has made it a tradition to stop at 5 Guys after our outings. They offer great food, reasonably priced, quickly. I've never had a bad meal at any 5 Guys anywhere on the east coast!!!! If you haven't tried it yet, go NOW!!!!!! read more

The food is good. You can build a burger with what seems like endless toppings. I like turkey burger with grilled onions, cheese, mustard, jalapeños, and I'm sure many more. I like the fries too. The inside seems small for the amount of people that come through, but it's set up well. There are peanut shells all over the floor?? I guess that's the atmosphere when you eat them you're allowed to throw the shells on the ground. I just think that it makes it look less nice than it is. Not a fan of that. I agree with other reviewers about the price, it's a little much. By the time you get a burger, drink, and fries for 1 person, you're at almost $15!! That's way too much. I'll maybe come here once a month, but not more. I can't afford to do that often. Other fast food places can get me a burger, drink, and fries for much less. Let me say again, food is good, but it's just a lot of money to put down for those items. I've only been here a few times but I think it's safe to say that Five Guys is my favorite fast food restaurant by far. Last time I was there I had a cheeseburger and fries and it was AMAZING!
