The food tasted incredibly fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. From the appetizers to the entrees, everything we ordered was excellent. The lobster ravioli was rich and perfectly cooked, the cheese ravioli was fresh and full of flavor, and the spaghetti and meatballs tasted like true homemade Italian comfort food. You can tell they really care about quality and presentation. If you're in the Knightdale area and have been thinking about trying it, don't let the empty parking lot fool you. We ended up trying out the garlic knots and the margarita pizza. The knots were AMAZING. Some of the best I've ever had. The pizza crust was lovely and the pizza was HUGE. One slice and two knots had me full. I enjoyed the fresh ricotta on the pizza (my boys were not big fans, so we got some plain cheese for them instead). The only potential ding was once we were sat, the service from there was really slow (a challenge with two special needs kids). The wine list was reasonable both by glass and by bottle - much more so than most upscale Italian places. I took the remainder of our pizza back to the hotel and then home with us after our event -- reheated a couple slices when we got home in the oven and it was still delicious. Overall a really pleasant experience. If we're back in town again in this area, we'd absolutely visit again.

After noticing the inaccuracies, I called the store to discuss the issue and seek a resolution. Unfortunately, the interaction only escalated my frustration. A woman named Jacqueline answered the phone and continuously spoke over me while I attempted to explain the issue. Throughout the conversation, she was combative, overbearing, and unprofessional rather than working collaboratively toward resolving the concern. I requested to speak with a manager, and Jacqueline stated that she was the manager. I then asked to speak with the store manager, but she refused to provide a contact number or any alternative way to reach him. I also requested contact information for the franchise owner, and Jacqueline incorrectly stated that Zaxby's is not a franchise. I have been a loyal customer of this location for the past 13 years and am extremely disappointed by the lack of customer service, professionalism, accountability, and willingness to resolve a simple issue. The overall experience, particularly the treatment I received from Jacqueline, was unacceptable and far below the standard I would expect from a long-standing establishment in the community.
