Five guys in my opinion is better than In-N-Out. However there is some Pros and Cons Pros: There is free peanuts. They have quality service. The burgers is outrageously good. You can choose anything you want on the burger (Condiments). They have a soda machine. Meaning, you can taste a lot more drinks than usual. Line goes by quick, Often times. Fries are tasty, like McDonald's fries, but homemade. Cons: Their isn't a lot of downsides. One is however, the bathroom stinks inside. The bathroom is never cleaned. The tables are some what dirty. Not too any dining options in La Quinta, so we stopped here. The burgers are grossly overpriced at over $8 each, and they are tiny, squished and greasy. The fries a much better value, a large bag, but so salty, they were inedible. Service was fine, the space clean and food made quickly. As soon as we walked into the restaurant we were greeted by the employees and nice cool air conditioning! The sign on the door politely ask to wear a face covering, that was nice since quarantine is still in effect. The young man who took our order was accurate,friendly, and outgoing and kept eye contact with us. Love this place, but only in moderation. I usually order the little cheeseburger, which is anything but little. It's the best fast food burger I know. Sure, you can't specify the done-ness (as some have complained), but you can't do that at In N Out, Burger King, or Wendy's, either. The burgers are fresh and taste good. I love that grilled mushrooms are free! But I stop in for fries alone. Fresh potatoes, thick cut, and fried to perfection. The portions are ridiculous, so a regular feeds at least two people. One word - GREASY You can see all the grease at the bottom of the bag.. But I suppose that's what helps make a good burger. The little cheeseburger is pretty good and still quite a big burger. I get it all-dressed with mushrooms and jalapeños. Lots of tables to sit at. And they have peanuts you can munch on while you wait for your burger. Unfortunately the fries aren't consistent. Without a doubt, hands-down the best fast-food burger in the Valley. Order your burger with one or two patties, and then have them put any number of different toppings on it. Besides the uber-delicious burgers, also got a "small" order of fries -- which was so large that I took most of them home and heated them up the next day with some chili and cheese. Be sure to grab some peanuts while you're waiting for your order to be called. The only thing I would like to see improved is the seating: the tables and chairs are almost on top of each other, so it's a little bit of a maze if you need to get to a table in the center of the seating area. Basically just a higher priced version of a certain regional chain. The burgers are good but 2-3x more expensive than INO. However this is definitely the best place to go if you want to customize your burger with A1, jalapenos, or any of 30 other condiments. Special award for the fries which are thick and fresh cut. Normally would rate higher for unlimited soft drinks but the markup is absurd compared to $1 any size at McDs. Normally I would rate 4* for food and great friendly service, but subtract 1* for high prices and waiting time. read more

Fithiest Five Guys I've ever been to! Tables wipe with food wiped onto chairs and floor. Trash barrels untouchable due to food on the lid you push in to throw away your garbage. Where is the manager? One guy left to clean, sweep, and empty trash. Really! Bathroom is a disaster with broken toilet paper holder, smelly, and tile hasn't been cleaned. If you want a clean burger experience I can think of two other places you might want to try. But you're gonna pay extra for the goodies they put on at those places. At Five Guys they will put the kitchen sink on your burger for you with no extra charges. The fries are good and from fresh taters. I like them crispy and you can ask for that. Outstanding burgers and and wonderful customer service.... We arrived from out of town on vacation in La Quinta and ordered online to pick up after a long drive... We picked up and when we got to our place we noticed one of the burgers was missing from our order... We called and Erica the manager apologized and said we can come back anytime to replace our order... We went back a few days later and she honored our order and even offered to refund us for our trouble. So i really use to love this place superb burgers the fries are whatever. So i came here the other day and it was absolutely horrible. First off the cashier was not great at all she had told me an my mother that its so annoying working with all the guys in the kitchen "shes was the only girl" which if it were the other way around all hell would break loose!! Not only that the whole staff was arguing with each other so unprofessional and they had messed up peoples orders.By the time we got our food which was almost a 20 min wait ridiculous. I opened my burger to put ketchup and there was literally only half a patty maybe less same thing as my moms an they tried to cover it up by putting extra bacon where the patty was missing it was so unprofessional from the first time i went. All in all it has a lot of potential but they need to get rid of some of the staff if not all i came in between 1:30-2:30 just a heads of for people first trying it!! read more
