You can debate who has the best burger in the country all you want, but when you get down to it, Five Guys should be in that conversation. The fact that it is a chain should not deter you. Double patties on regular orders, and toppings are free. e.g., grilled mushrooms, onions, BBQ sauce, etc. Order the burger YOU want. No frozen patties here, and the burgers will be filled to the max. Better watch out when you unwrap your creation. Oh and free peanuts. Come on. What's not to like about that. Service is friendly, and the interior is well maintained. Location is in downtown Naperville, and that makes it easy to walk off all those calories. Worth it!

I visited with my son awhile ago. From what I remember the burgers were good with lots of topping choices. They were on the greasy side though. I gave them a 3 coz if they were awesome I think I would remember. I do recall that the prices were a bit high. But to be fair, I think I need to give them another try.

Five Guys is an exciting upgrade from whatever used to be in this location. It's surprisingly spacious inside, and there's outdoor seating too. It was noted that 70% of the customers walk in and proceed to the wrong side of the line (by 'pick up', the sign means pick up, and not order here). I was more impressed with my burger and fries when I hit the Five Guys at the Dulles airport, but fresh patties and fresh cut fries should not go underappreciated. Can't beat additional toppings at no cost. The fries could have been crisper and more seasoned, but nothing that stopped me from shoveling them into my mouth. My brother noted that if there were to be a Venn diagram of consumers at the Naperville Running Store and the crowd at Five Guys, I would be in the middle. So either I really like my greasy ass fries and burgers and am an enthused runner, or... I'm a well-fed, fast-food-pounding eater who likes to shop with lean, hardcore athletes for running gear.

The cravings for greasy food is something sort of always happening with us lately. So to satisfy our cravings and since we are always at Downtown Naperville, we decided to go to Five Guys! I had bacon cheeseburger, fries, chocolate milkshake while my partner in crime had double patty cheeseburger, he was really hungry. The burgers are made to order, fries was a lot and hand cut. We have to wait like 5 minutes or so. While waiting they have boxes of peanuts by the counter so we helped ourselves and that serves as our appetizer lol! The restaurant is across Barnes and Noble and sits right next to Chipotle and Rosebud (E. Chicago and S. Washington). The burger was really good! GREASY GOOD!!! We ordered Cajun fries too. Don't expect the restaurant atmosphere to be like Red Robin, they have a few tables and it feels like if I am a teenager or a college student this will be one of the places were I will kill time (what do you expect North Central College is a couple of blocks away). It is not as clean as you wanted but not dirty too. Despite of that, I will come back for another cheeseburger!

Larger five guys in the surrounding area! Great location in Naperville! Staff was friendly and quick! Offered suggestion when we were going to order two regular fries to just get 1 large and it would be more than enough and he was right! Food was perfect, although a little pricey! But you get what you pay for ! Will be back

Wow! This place REALLY surprised us…read more We were looking for something different from the usual burgers, pizza, and tacos routine after my girlfriend mentioned she'd been craving gyros. Naturally, I started searching for places nearby, and while there was no shortage of options, Nicky's immediately stood out. Their photos looked incredibly well presented, with gyro meat piled high and genuinely generous portions. When we arrived just before 7 PM, the parking lot was nearly full, and after our experience, I can absolutely see why. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They could tell it was our first visit and happily walked us through the menu, answering every question with genuine warmth and patience. The food itself was excellent. Everything came out piping hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The gyro meat was tender without being overly fatty or dry. The hand-cut fries were especially impressive, perfectly crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and seasoned just right. The onion rings and mozzarella sticks were equally well executed. The real showstopper, though, was the imported Greek baklava. I've had baklava from many different regions and styles over the years, and this was easily some of the best I've ever had. Rich, syrupy, incredibly flavorful, with a heavier note of cinnamon layered throughout that made it truly stand out. The menu is expansive, covering all the classic greasy spoon favorites you'd hope for, and the restaurant itself was clean, bright, and bustling with people clearly enjoying themselves. Near the end of our meal, the same staff member who helped us at the counter came by to check on us and ask if we needed anything else, which was a really nice touch. She also mentioned this is the original family-owned location, and honestly, that care and pride really shows. Overall, a fantastic first experience, and we're very glad we decided to stop in. We'll definitely be back soon to try more of the menu.

Before we left I checked the website and saw that they were a cash only business. No problem except we took the 30 minute ride and when we arrived I realized I forgot my wallet at home. Fortunately for us it was a nearby Walgreens where we could get cash. My wife had her wallet so I zelled money to her. Once we got back we then saw that they do in fact take debit/ credit cards. Anywho. It was a no frills place very basic aesthetic nothing special to look at. Just a service counter where you can see them preparing the hot dogs. They do however have a steady line of people! They move the line very fast so you're not waiting long at all. We ordered 3 hot dogs with everything (mustard, onions, relish & sport peppers) the basic depression hot dog. They come with fresh cut fries & we got a fountain Cherry Coke to share. I spent $20 even with tip. The hot dogs were good i wasn't disappointed nice soft bun tasty condiments and a great snap to the hot dogs. I'll give it a 7/10. The fries had a decent amount of salt on them a bit oily and not too crispy but they were fair. They don't have any ketchup in the house. We keep tobacco in the SUV so I added some to the fries for a little bit. Without the tobacco the fries were still tasty. A solid 6.5/10. The service was good. Young people with good customer service. I loved it. 10/10 for service. All in all if I'm in the mood for a drive and a hot dogs I'll go back. If you're in the area and like hot dogs check them out. They also sell tamales. ( I didn't order one) 7.3/10..... all in all. It's really more like 3 1/2 stars! Remember Yelpers ALL reviews are subjective!
