Went to this location for the first time for a quick dinner. If you haven't been to five guys, I would consider them a step above your fast food restaurant. You go in and order at the counter. There is places to sit and they make your burgers up fresh. You have a choice of what you want on it. While you wait, they have peanuts that you can munch on. It's kind of their claim to fame. We ordered our burgers and shakes with some fries to share. One Cajun and one regular for the kiddos. The food is good and the shakes were yummy. Their fries are more thicker than the shoestrings. We both ordered a cheeseburger all the way and split small fries and a banana shake. The store was quiet when we went since it was later at night, but it was stocked and clean. The staff were friendly and polite. Since they cook the burgers fresh, it can take about 10 mins to get the order. It's worth it! The burgers were juicy and cheesy and full of delicious toppings. Their fries are always a hit. The real star is the banana shake - it was cold and so full of banana flavor; it was the perfect way to end a round of golf on a summer night! Tables aren't ever "really" dirty, but rarely are they clean either. In general, Five Guys are overpriced in my opinion. Their lettuce wraps are VERY good and flavorful. Probably worth a 5 star rating. Sometimes their burgers get soggy buns due to being so juicy. A two edged sword.. My granddaughter was celebrating her 10th birthday and chose to eat at Five Guys where I'd not eaten before. They have a simple menu - burgers, hotdogs or veggie sandwich - and a choice of plain or Cajun fries. I ordered a regular hamburger and Cajun fries. They only offer American cheese so I opted out of the cheeseburger. There's a long list of toppings to choose from that are included with any sandwich. Everything is made to order, which I like. However, when I received my sandwich, there were 2 small patties with 3 or 4 pieces of meat broken off outside the bun. The top bun was flat and soggy and the bottom bun was unrecognizable because there were sautéed onions on both sides of it. When I picked my burger to eat it, it completely fell all apart with everything inside squishing out. I was so frustrated I went back to ask for a fresh bun, but they decided to make a new sandwich for me and it was much better. What I didn't like was that the meat breaking apart because it was dry, and it was not properly seasoned with salt so the burger was sort of bland. I sprinkled some salt on my burger but it didn't help much. The fries were hot but not twice-cooked as they should be when frying fresh potatoes, so they were limp and not at all crispy. There were at least a dozen large signs along the walls with testimonials of patrons and food experts claiming that Five Guys has the best burger anywhere - they were all from 2006 - 2009! Maybe it's time to go back to that era and renew the quality of burger preparation, but at $7.25/regular burger and $4.75/regular fries, they are overpriced and overrated, IMHO. read more

It was built in the past few years while I was off in college. I was back today cause I was craving burgers again. It's... your standard Five Guys. Which is pretty solid food, better than the many of the other burger options in Plymouth. The chain touts to using only fresh ingredients, and though it's harder to tell with the beef, you can definitely tell with the fresh veggies that they put on top. I got a burger with the works (NO MUSHROOMS), which was solid. I let it sit, while chatting with a friend and the bun did get a bit soggy as the juices leaked out, which was unfortunate. Eventually, everything came apart and I used my fingers to pick at the casualties. Also, the fries are thick and excellent. Overall, Five Guys is an incredibly solid addition to the fast-casual scene in Plymouth. I would definitely check it out if you haven't had it before, and dine in confidence if you have. read more

Out on a shopping trip and decided to stop at Five Guys, our first time there (at any Five Guys). The counter guys was very friendly and help guide through the ordering process. I had the double patty with bacon and bbq sauce; my wife had the single bacon cheeseburger and we split a medium fry. Wow! The burgers were juicy and tender. The taste was great, the down side (and a good problem to have) was that the medium fries were huge and to much for us to finish. Overall, loved the food. YummMazing! Is that a word? It better be! I've heard about this place before and finally made it there. The fries are amazing. Not to greasy, taste like they are actually made from a potato and you can see that. Not that fake potato stuff. These are real yummy, crispy on the outside, tender inside fries. I had the hamburger, and you can choose (what a novel concept) from all the fixing what you would like on yours. I appreciate the customization and I think its soooo much better, then pre-made options. I like pickles and cucumbers on mine, never an premade option. Came here like three times since I'm nearby and was disappointed, some reason my burger would always end all over the wrap. It's like they just throw it in there. One things that we were looking forward to in this place was a tasty and well made hot dog. The hot dogs were a complete disappointment. Wrapped in foil when they are too hot and this completely ruined the bread by soaking it. This was a very disappointing visit. We decided not to return. read more

The food here is great. Customize your burger however you'd like! Both the cajun and the regular fries are delicious and plentiful. The employees are always extremely friendly and helpful. Absolutely outstanding! The best place to get a fast casual burger. The burgers cooked by five guys are juicy, fresh, and delicious. They are by far my favorite burger to get. Before I knew about five guys, I thought Smashburger was pretty good. Five guys is way better, in my opinion. The beef is cooked well done, so you won't see any pink in the meat, but they are not dried out like your average fast food burger, so this isn't an issue in my book. There's 15 toppings to choose from, and I generally get tomatoes, grilled onions, and a few other randomly chosen toppings. The fries are the best fries you'll ever get. I prefer the cajun fries, which have more flavor than the regular fries. The fries are cut from whole potatoes, so some of the fries will have the potato skin, which contains loads of nutrients and vitamins. They are also fried in peanut oil, which makes them taste amazing! The only thing you may want to consider when purchasing fries is that they can turn soggy fast if they are not consumed right away. That's why I almost always eat inside the restaurant. The freshly fried fries taste amazing, especially due to the fact that malt vinegar is provided, which makes an excellent dipping sauce for the fries. The drink selection is decent, with your standard sodas and an iced tea machine with 4 choices. I prefer the unsweetened iced tea. They do not serve malts or milkshakes at this location, but they apparently will soon, according to the manager. Currently the only location in Minnesota that serves malts and milkshakes is the Apple Valley location. read more

Quick Berger. Not a fan of the bun, but the burger and fries are what you go there for. Single patties will do, two patties are the norm. The fry portion is gy-normus and excellent with Vinegar. The bonus is the peanuts. You can usually polish of a basket of peanuts while waiting for your food. read more

My first time @ Five Guys Burgers, but I was disappointed on a few items. I ordered the basic Cheeseburger with Fries....burger ordered to my taste. However I find out once my food arrives, the burger comes standard with 2 patties! Does the menu explain these are double burgers? I could not find anything written on the menu explaining why I got a double burger when I expected a traditional single patty. This was WAY too much meat for me and ruined what could have been a pretty decent burger. Second, the fries are not my taste. If you prefer crispy fries you won't like these fries. I guess I don't get it. The Burger is solid and the variety of fixings that you can put on it is good. That is what gets them the 2 stars. The fries, are awful. Not crispy, yet somehow still very greasy. I didn't finish my order, that is how bad they were. I got the bacon cheeseburger, a regular order of fries and a regular drink and my bill was 14.13. So while the burger was good, it was not worth 14.13. I won't be back. read more

The food was fine, fresh lettuce on the burger and the fries were crisp and bot as promised. But the eating area needed sone attention. Tables needed a good wipe down, the floor had water on it in odd places and needed to be swept.
