Good place. New building and it always seems clean on the outside. Covid 19 has everyone struggling, customers and owners. These guys make it look easy. Ordered on my phone. Payed by phone. When I got there it was complete. Quick check of the bag before I left. They provided napkins, ketchup for fries and solid packaging with easy to read writing on the food. I don't eat here often. I'll do it again. Thank you Five Guys. Only downside, they didn't ask what car I would be driving so they had to go from car to car asking about food orders. Didn't slow me down, but could if they got really busy ... and they deserve to get really busy.

So nasty I got food just now.. first found a hair in my sandwich and my girlfriend didn't even get A bacon sandwich at all instead just a random burger.

So an east coast resident mentions, "Hey you guys have in-n-out on the west coast right?" "Yeah, we do."..... "You guys ain't got shit on this place." It sounds like dem fightin' words, but lemme tell you, this place delivers. I will say its reminescent of In-n-out with its simple decor, use of fresh ingredients, pristine white colors, and fast service. That, my friends, is where the similarities end. Where in-n-out relies on the utmost simplicity, five guys lends itself to variety. The draw here is you have an extensive menu of toppings and brevy of sauces for your burger, that a free of charge......yes, free! Think of it like subway, but for burgers. I personally like the jalapeno, bbq sauce, grilled onions and grilled mushrooms and bacon- yes, this bacon is fresh, not that thin, pre cooked crap you get from jack in the crack. The burger itself is nothing like i've ever seen at a chain before. You dont have those uniform round frozen discs, these babies look handmade, lumps and all. Your "standard" burger is automatically 2 patties, you need to request a little burger if you want 1. Cheese and bacon cost extra, but believe me its worth it. The fries are mammoth. My friend said we could share one large for like 3-4 people, i was like please. She wasnt kidding, this mammoth cup came full to the brim in a bag, in which about a half cup more of fries laid at the bottom, wtf are you serious? If you have a choice, get the cajun. Last but not least, there are a few cardboard boxes completely FILLED with peanuts you can munch on for FREE. They also have my favorite, cherry coke, which CA seems to have shunned for god knows why. And while this is dependent on location, the employees were genuinely friendly....wish i could bring back just a hint of this magic to the bay area. Bottom Line: Lots of FREE stuff, fresh, delicious burgers, friendly service, ch.......aww hell wtf are you reading this for, get going already.

The most gigantic bag o' fries in the United States... and that's just the regular size.

MAY BE THE BEST BURGER IN TOWN I always feel guilty giving a fast food place five stars, but 5 Guys, does the burger biz right. The quality of their food and their friendly staff seems to be built into the business model and rivals Starbucks in terms of business consistency. Even at this location, in the heart of VCU, where one would expect service to slip because they're used to serving students 24-7, it wasn't the case here. Good job 5 Guys!

I've been meaning to check this place out, but just didn't get to it in San Diego (there's one in North Island and Point Loma). If you like having good food and a large amount of fries, this is the place to get it. People like to compare this place to In & Out, but I believe it's more like Fatburger minus the egg. My order: Cheesburger, Little hamburger (Girlfriend's), and cajun fries. The difference between a cheesburger and little cheesburger are the patty's. The cheesburger has two patty's while it's little brother only gets one. All the toppings are free and seem very fresh. I also like the fact that this place tells you where the meat is from. The burger was pretty good and pretty juicy. The cajun fries tasted great and there was a lot of it. People that work here are very friendly and the service is quick. The wait for my food wasn't that long and they even have free peanuts to munch on for the wait. As far as the dining area, it seemed very clean and spacious. We had a group of five people so we combined two tables together to accommodate everyone. Overall the dining experience was great, but you can't expect much from a fast food joint. It was clean and the employees are friendly and you can't beat that. I'm giving this place four stars because of the great food and fast service. The price isn't so bad as well. If your looking for some inexpensive and good food on the go or if your in a rush, this is place that you need to check out. That is if you like burgers and fries.

Not the same as the old King St location, but that's because of the physical location. The burgers n Fries always hit the spot.

Parking in the area is a little difficult and Sunday at lunch is no different. We were able to find street parking a few blocks down and were happy to enjoy the Spring weather. Eazzy Burger is a bit off of W Leigh St but adjacent to Ardent Craft Ales. The shared outdoor patio was casual with a contemporary flare and filled with Richmond 20-somethings. We easily found a table, put our things down, and headed in to Eazzy Burger to place our orders. The first thing I noticed is how creative the menu is! Craft burgers with a variety of options... everyone will find something they like. You place you order at the counter and then wait at your table until they call your name so be prepared! It took about 20 minutes (10 minutes less than what they told us!) for our 5 top to get our orders. The burgers were massive and the fries were cooked to perfection. An order of fries was missed but when I mentioned it to the expeditor at the counter, he was quick to remedy the situation. All in all, a 5 star experience!

Ok, so one of our party walked over & ordered the Big Iron Burger for sharing. Tasty beef given the angus short rib/Brisket/chuck blend and just the right size at 1/3 lb. Smoked tomato jam took it over the top! Hand cut fries were excellent as well the shoestring onions. Service was fast and friendly. Saw Hot Dogs on the menu also. Turns out ZZQ owns Eazzy. If you want a Burger with your ZZ Brisket, Eazzy has you covered.

No wonder this is a Richmond Staple…read more City dogs mainly serves hot dogs but they are so inventive with the toppings which makes their offerings so great. The hot dogs themselves have a good snap and are the perfect size for the buns they offer. My partner and I tried two different flavors of dogs each and shared a basket of tots which were huge, crispy and hot. My favorite dog that I got was the Indy Dog, topped with fries and sport peppers which made for a fun bite. The sport peppers offered the perfect amount of spice. Our server was really kind and the food came out very quick. I really dug the sports bar vibe and they offer indoor/outdoor seating which is nice, they could definitely accommodate large groups. This is definitely the place to go for a quick but good meal! The hot dogs are super nostalgic and the food is so reasonably priced, we were able to get 4 hot dogs with fun toppings and a huge basket of tots that we couldn't even finish for just under 25 dollars which felt like a tremendous value. Can't wait to come back and work my way through the menu!

Well, "teh machine was broke" at Krispy Kreme and they didn't have any glazed. Which led me to Sugar Shack Dounts. It's sort of in the Fan (I guess?) thank goodness for GPS or I'd never find it. Very small parking lot. No inside seating, all grab and go. Anyway. Walked in, scanned the donut case. Lots of Gucci looking donuts (I'm a big fan of glazed and chocolate iced...basic donuts). didn't see any glazed but they did have chocolate ice. Seemed somewhat busy for a Saturday morning (surprise? not to me, but apparenlty a surprise to whoever schedules people to work there). Service wasn't necessarily slow, but adding up the gucci coffees and all the door-dash (I'm assuming....there was a tape machine by the cash register steadily spitting out tickets) it was busy for one (then two) people to handle. Service was friendly enough. Second person showed up...placed my order, 3 chocolate glazed. $8! are you kidding? $8 for 3 donuts. Crazy. But I bought them. Went to my car to eat. So (after eating my 3 chocolate iced donuts): oh my. They were spectacular. A little "thicker" or "firmer" than a Krispy Kreme....and the chocolate ice stayed on the donut, solid, the whole time. Great flavor (donut and chocolate). So, yeah, you get what you pay for. I certainly wouldn't eat there everyday, or take a bunch of kids there.....but every once in a while? A nice treat.
