So I actually worked here when they first open. I remember for the first month they had lines out the door everyday for lunch. But the hype definitely died down now. I came in for lunch around 12:30ish and there was only 1 group of people eating and nobody in line. As for the burger itself, It's still have the same taste since I first ate it . Soooo gooood!!! I use to eat this burger everyday and never got tired of it.

I have always heard about Five Guys burgers but never really had the motivation to try them out due to the burger being so expensive. I finally caved in. I really liked all the option that you can add into your burger and create one that satisfies your tastebuds. Though, I didn't know that the burger came with two meats! All I could taste was just the meat patty with a hint of the other ingredients. I think it definitely needs more mayonnaise and sauce. I have nothing special to say other than that it's a burger. I do like how soft and squishy the burger is, haha! I got the large Cajun fries and I'm not sure if that's the usual amount of seasoning they put on but it did not taste Cajun-E at all! It just tasted like salty fries and that's it with a hint of Cajun. I was expecting it to be very flavorful but it was not. You know! I liked that I tried this place but I will not be back especially how expensive it is for a mediocre burger and Cajun fries with not a lot of seasoning. It was kind of a let down for me. Those mukbangs made it seem soooo delicious. For me it was a 6/10 I got the Bacon Cheeseburger ($14.39) Cheeseburger ($13.19) Large Cajun Fries ($8.75) Total: $39.74 Like wow lol

Food was the greatest thing ever, would definitely come again. The tables were so clean and the neon Five Guys sign was pretty cool. When I came in with my e-bike the employees were totally cool about it. When I went to buy my food the person at checkout was super nice to me, he asked how my day was and complemented me and my bike! Then he told me the order was on the house and I couldn't believe it, what a nice guy! I would like to give credit to the dude who was so kind to me, on the receipt it says the cashier was Monceis C but on the bottom portion it said "employee 100% name: Shane Thornton" I am guessing the guy who was so nice was Shane Thornton, but if not I apologize for getting it wrong give these people a raise, five guys!

We arrived a little after 7 and it was not busy inside for a Tuesday. It seems most people take their food to go. They do have ample seating inside if you come with a group which is nice. The ambiance inside was nice. A lot of fun decor and even a cutout to take funny pictures. They even have a tv playing music videos with modern music. Cool vibe! You can order via the kiosk with your card or at the counter whichever you prefer. We all ordered individually from m the kiosk and had no issues. Since there were seven of us who ordered, some orders arrived later than others. I can understand this since they're alls full filling online and delivery orders. I ordered the Texas forever hotdog since I love bbq and made it a combo with regular fries and soda. They get bonus points for serving Coke products, especially Coke Zero. My friends ordered hot dogs , corn dogs and the truffle and bulgogi fries. The stand out hotdog for them was the truffle dog! I recommend their business!

Every few blocks on this stretch of Alum Rock Avenue has a similar setup: A truck/food stand for mainly to-go orders with very limited seatings. A regular taco is two small soft tortillas with your choice of grilled meats. You then have to add toppings and condiments at a garnishes station. Let convenience be your deciding factor then.

Damian's is located inside a plaza on Alum Rock and should be easy to spot. There's a cart stocked with cilantros, onions, limes, salsas, jalapeños, and grilled onions that you can add onto your tacos, as well as ketchup and mustard for your hot dogs. Their tacos are $2.50 each with the exception of Lengua which is $3. They also offer bacon wrapped hot dogs for $4. We tried.. Pastor - This one was okay. Not bad but nothing special. Chuleta - I've never heard of this until now, but it's smoked pork chops. It tasted like bacon and was surprisingly good. Would recommend. Tripa - I didn't have any, but the boyfriend said it's the best tripa tacos he's had. Most places don't offer tripa, and the places that do offer it cook it a little too crispy. He said this one was the perfect balance of chewy and crispy. Would recommend. Cabeza - This is my favorite taco meat and they did not disappoint. Soft, juicy, tender. Would recommend. Lengua - Their lengua obviously has been braised for a long time. Most lengua is a little chewy but this one melts in your mouth. Unfortunately we prefer our lengua with a slight chew but this was still good depending on your preference. So tldr: Would recommend the cabeza and tripa tacos, and give the chuleta tacos a try if you like bacon. They're cash only so be sure to bring cash.
