I gave this place a 5 star and it's been a year since I've been back. Now I went and ordered two double burgers, a hot dog and medium fries. What I got when I got the order 1 hamburger and the soggiest lukewarm fries that was unedible (had to throw out as it was yucky). And the same manager was there when I got there but had his young assistant take the order. Don't serve food, you wouldn't eat. So disappointing. Tasty burger, interesting concept, and exceptional reputation but their overall quality for price leaves much to be desired. I think this chain is a little over hyped which really produced most of the disappointment when I visited this location. I had heard so much about 5 Guys that I came in expecting something spectacular but I'd say In-N-Out is just as good, if not better, at a cheaper price. A comparison of Five Guys to In-N-Out Burger: Meat: In-N-Out has much smaller patties with less beef flavor. Cooking style: I actually prefer In-N-Out "mustard grilled" as it lent a wonderful flavor to the patty. Also, they are more greasy at Five Guys. Toppings: although INO had tasty veggies, grilled onions, and thousand island dressing I still prefer the choices at FG. Fries: INO fries taste like a mix of potato and cardboard with the consistency of potato and styrofoam. Fries are a big deal for me when I go out for burgers. FG fries are fresh, taste like potato and don't need to be smothered with sauce to taste good. I didn't even finish eating the INO fries. Selection: it pisses me off that it is so hard to figure out how to order at INO. We decided to give this place a try again. I got sick the first time I tried five guys, but that was the one at the plant. I had the regular bacon cheeseburger, dad had a small, and we shared fries. My family and I have eaten at this location for many years... We actually meet there once a month every month to honor my mother who also loved that restaurant. Unfortunately yesterday approximately 130 in the afternoon, I ordered the same thing that I order every single month, a burger wrapped in lettuce. I asked if they could please put it in a foil container so that I could use a fork and a knife, I had just had some dental work done and could not bite into anything. When they called our number, I looked at it and the burgers were on one side of the container and the lettuce and toppings, We're on the other side of the container. My mayonnaise was in a separate container...A very gently brought it to their attention, that this was not the way I wanted it, the gentleman in the black shirt, he looked of Asian dissent, walked up to the counter and told me all I needed to do was flip it over on top of the burgers... I said I would rather just return that burger and start fresh and haven't made the way I always get it... He told me he wasn't taking my burger back, that there was nothing wrong with it. Later one of the other employees came up while we were eating and offered us a gift card and apologized for his behavior... I learned from her, That this rude and inconsiderate guy was the general manager... I am absolutely disgusted and this will be the end of a family tradition. Terrible service !!! I waited at the counter for for 5-10 minutes and not one person acknowledged my existence . Two different door dash people came to the counter and got their order without even looking at me. When I finally asked for my order, he just shove my order at me without even looking at me. I ordered two regular fries and usually they come overflowing, but the amount of fries barely filled the container. I asked to speak with a manager and all she said was sorry. Burgers are alright, but they only have beef patties for those who prefer chicken. I normally get a chicken sandwich but I decided to give this place a try. The burgers don't have anything on them, so u get to put whatever u want on them :) once I got my Burger, it was so big I had trouble taking a bite out of it,.which is nice,if my bread hadn't started crumbling on me! Ordered veggie sandwiches and fries online and went to pickup in 7 minutes. Five guys makes the fries when you get there so they are hot and fresh. The fries are flavorful. Helpful tip order one small fries order for two people. They give one extra scoop along with the cup of fries and there is a lot of them. The veggie sandwich is a sesame bun with tomatoes, lettuce, onions, relish, ketchup, mustard, etc. you can order the veggie sandwich with cheese or without but is a gooey mess, had it a veggie boca burger it would have tasted better. 4 stars for fries, 3 stars for veggie sandwich. Generally speaking, this places blowes In and Out of the water! Ok seriously, the best thing about this place is the parking situation. Compared to other locations, the parking situation makes this a much more convenient location to visit. The customer service is good too and the staff is friendly. The single thing that makes 5 Guys stand out from most other burger joints is the degree of options. I'll usually get a bacon burger with cheese, A-1 sauce and mushrooms. It's like a steak burger. Love the burgers here. I have a theory that the taste of a burger is directly proportional to how messy a burger is. You can order a very messy burger here (or have it plain if you must). Either way, it'll be good, wrapped in aluminum foil and have a number sticker that corresponds to the number of the order on the receipt... makes it very easy to figure out which buger or dog belongs to who. They have almost every condiment you can think of available and can get a small burger (single) or a regular (double patty), and I suspect you can get 3, 4, 5 or more if you order it. Beware the fries! Even a "little" goes a long way. It'll seem like a bag full. That's one of the things 5 Guys is famous for. They recently started offering the little size since a regular is enough for a family of 4! They offer filleted hotdogs and grilled burgers, cooked to order however you like. My daughter likes the dogs and has just started liking cheese burgers but she says it's too noisy, so she's not a huge fan, but that's the ambiance. Her dad loves the food and the music. They play Classic Vinyl from Sirius satellite radio, so hopefully you enjoy rock and roll with your burger. First time here, I went here lunch with my bf. Ralph (guy at the cash register) was very welcoming and customer service oriented! He explained the entire menu in brief and recommended the cajun fries, he said if we didn't like it we could bring it back to the counter and he'd switch it out to regular fries for us. I give up! I've been to two 5 Guys and they were both horrible experiences. The food was only so so. The major problem was the noise! The 'staff' had the sound system cranked up so loud they had to YELL to communicate with each other. Our order was messed up because the counter person probably couldn't hear us. We ended up eating outside. This has happened at TWO DIFFERENT 5 Guys. The food is just not worth the pain. Never thought I'd have to write a negative review for a fast food joint but here I am. My friend and I came in today and ordered a little cheeseburger with lettuce and onion and another little cheeseburger all the way style. PLEASE tell me how they managed to screw it up so bad. My little cheeseburger only had two toppings. All it literally had to be was the patty, buns, onion and lettuce and they managed to somehow screw that up. And my friend's burger was all the way style but it was more like half the way, hello???? Came home and unwrapped the burgers and they had put mayo, lettuce, pickles and tomato in one burger and onion, lettuce, ketchup and mushrooms in the other. I didn't even know mine had ketchup or mushrooms until I bit into it because it was on the bottom bun and the patty covered it. What if either of us had been allergic? Fast and tasty. I'm a pretty big In N Out fan, and Five Guys definitely holds up. It isn't a fancy, souped up restaurant burger, but that's not what I'm expecting when I go here.
