Came around 6pm and it was empty. Ordered a cheeseburger and liked how they have a great variety of toppings. Having it been my first time, I did not know it came with two meat patties so that was a surprise when I opened it. I liked the free peanuts too. This meal was pretty messy and greasy, the fries were also a bit on the saltier side. Not my first choice for burgers but not bad. It was filling but super heavy though so be aware.

    FRIES FOR DAYS

Five Guys fries are bomb. I don't typically enjoy eating at chains when on vacation, but for Five Guys, I made the exception. I got my usual, the single patty cheeseburger with some of my favorite toppings - grilled veggies, tomato, lettuce, ketchup and mustard. Done and done. And of course I had to get an order of fries. Just like at every other Five Guys in the US, they filled my bag of fries to the brim (aka, past the confines of the small cup). Burger was cooked pretty well - juicy but a little over the temperature that I prefer. SIDENOTE: Five Guys isn't In-N-Out and it isn't What-a-Burger and it isn't Shake Shack. But it ranks up there as a major cult following burger contender. I know food is made to order, but it IS a little slow. We were in a rush to get to our movie showing next door (so convenient!) so we had to scarf down our food. Make sure to set aside around 30-45 minutes to ensure you can eat your food without getting indigestion afterward. This Five Guys Location is definitely the most convenient place to grab an easy bite to eat before a movie. Just do it!

Guess they don't do extra scoops anymore?

Should have ordered a small because that's what we got instead of a Medium fry. I know it was 9:30 and almost close but there were tons of fries and we should have gotten our extra scoop. I understand cleaning before Close but not when you're cleaning the grease and taking the above the grill pieces when you're also cooking our food. It was barely 9:30 when they were doing all the cleaning

A Bit Pricey, But Best Burgers In Seattle For My Money! SITREP There are several locations throughout the Seattle area, but luckily for me there is a Five Guys Burgers and Fries ("Five Guys") right across the street in my mom's hood. https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/five-guys-burgers-and-fries-seattle?select=Ju6R2VpllsC_qtt6smd5fQ THE SETUP There is something to be said about straight-forward meat-cheeseburgers that are packed full of flavor of fresh goodness. Made to order, you can watch the whole process of burger-making right before your eyes! (And in a way, these guys are absolute hams and are flattered when they have an audience!) THE BURGERS Mom and both enjoyed our burgers, hers merely being a slightly more dimininutive version of my full-sized Bacon-Double Cheeseburger! https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/five-guys-burgers-and-fries-seattle?select=TQG7x0bLNxFG-aOw2yfKDw * Close-up of my FULL-ON Version of the Bacon Double-Cheeseburger (and "yes" that is ONE of several Jalapenos peeking out from under the bun) - $8.59: https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/five-guys-burgers-and-fries-seattle?select=jEe97W_mjEyHNe34QmZUFA * Mom's "Petite" Version of the same - $7.09 https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/five-guys-burgers-and-fries-seattle?select=0Za5Hxwy43PiWmUs4FdEJA THE EXTRAS! Take a look at the pile of fries we got! I ordered a LARGE, basically a large cup acting likje a basket, and with overflow in the bag! - $5.79 https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/five-guys-burgers-and-fries-seattle?select=s2V6R1JwwRVyIggikGA3Cg And I love the soda fountain! It's one of those Coke machines that lets you configure your soda with many many different flavor opportunities! (When given this option, I always go for Coke Zero with the Raspberry flavor) - $2.69-large ;) https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/five-guys-burgers-and-fries-seattle?select=3R0xB4O_xbzBx2sCHi61ew THE LOWDOWN Not inexpensive, but an absolutely high quality & delicious burger meal experience.

A Seattle dog is a quintessential food item while visiting Seattle. I am happy to say the Dog In The Park Seattle Dog lived up to my expectations. A crispy grilled dog, cream cheese, and plenty of grilled veggies. There are loads of toppings to choose from, too, but the young man serving up the dogs recommended just plain for the first time to really get the classic experience. I think some light mustard and maybe some saurkraut would have been a great addition. Friendly service and good recommendations for a first-timer, though. Love how we can have fun playing games, taking pics, choosing a song, and having great conversations in the comfy booths. Service is helpful. One night one of the games ate our quarters up and never worked so we let the bartender know and a few minutes later he gave us our quarters back. Staff is efficient and keeps the bar clean picking up any left behind glasses quickly. The bar is quirky and fun. Private and comfy booths, and lots of clowns everywhere. Sad clowns, happy clowns, creepy clowns, and more clowns than you can count! The bathrooms are unisex with plenty of stickers to look at. Always hand soap and toilet paper available even when busy. Hard working staff! Some areas of the bar like near the bathrooms have flashy lights and makes it feel like you're at the circus. The vibe is laid back and care free. Have yet to try the food so no words on that quite yet! Always a great time at Shorty's. Literally one of my favorite bars! Highly recommend!

The lady running the store was extremely nice, especially to my daughter (which always wins extra points from me!). I of course ordered the Seattle dog. They had various condiments and toppings available on the side including ketchup, mustard, sauerkraut, pickles and pickled carrots. It was just the perfect amount of food with lots of flavors. After we were done eating, we came by the stand to grab some napkins and the lady asked us how the food was. I thought it was a nice gesture. She really didn't have to say anything and she had quite a few customers in line. She was able to multitask and provide excellent service to every customer. This is a hotdog stand.
