Every time I eat here it just doesn't disappoint. I love the food options from vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free. They also have lots of stuff for the non restrictive eaters. Sunday brunch. Amazing. I used the waitlist feature on the Yelp app to save our place in line. I love that feature! As soon as we arrived, we were seated. The décor is very clean and the outside looks like a house. I really like places like that because it's like we're visiting a friend for a meal. I was looking for a starter drink and wanted something refreshing since it was nice and warm outside. I didn't want a mimosa; even though that is the go-to brunch drink. The waitress suggested the Orange Splash. It looked pretty good so I went with it. Oh my gosh. It was so refreshing! My friend and I had three drinks a piece! So yummy! I ordered the steak and eggs for my meal. The steak was cooked to a juicy medium and I asked for the eggs to be hard fried. That, along with the roasted tomatoes and asparagus, was perfection. The regular menu is always amazing, but I almost always get a special now that I've basically tried the entire lunch and dinner menu! Their goat cheese gnocchi is a staple. I order it every single time I pop in for dinner. The balsamic glaze and golden raisins bring the soft, fluffy dumplings to life. The mussels are a must-get and are always perfectly cooked. The bistro steak is always juicy and delicious, the tilapia piccata is spectacular and even the hot pot is a warm bowl of heaven. All the sandwiches are fresh, sustainable and almost always organic. I am telling you, you can not go wrong with ANYTHING on any of the menus. In fact, I am bringing my dad here tonight so he can see what I rant and rave about all the time! This place was super cute, very "in style" with decor and their menu was incredible. Though there was about a 25 minute wait the hubs and I just sat on the front porch with a drink. For sunday brunch in summer 25 minutes really isn't bad in this area. Went for brunch and got the Southern Benny, an eggs benedict with a lump crab cake, fried green tomato, and pimiento cheese. It was amazing! The hollandaise was perfect and not overwhelmingly heavy. The service was attentive, pleasant, and prompt which is important to me, especially on a sunday when my couch and dreading the impending work week are on my to-do list. WOW! My husband and I randomly found this restaurant and let me just say, I'm SO glad we did. We had just arrived in Summerville after a 4.5hr car ride and were super hungry! We were appreciative that our food came out so quickly. This makes it hard if you have people in from out of town and you're trying to make plans. - whether you're 1 person or 5, the table service is slow and your food will take 30-45 min to arrive. I've eaten here probably 8 times and it has consistently been that. I chalk this up to the kitchen not being very big or something. - the menu is on the more expensive side and the menu hardly changes at all. My only complaint is that I have trouble getting into the building because I'm in a wheelchair and there's no ramp into the actual entrance.
