Edited....funny enough Jason just had a million dollar home built in Roseville last year and he has all of us to thank for paying for it. I wonder if he is going to be the one to build the pool there. We too fell for the slick talking Jason Peebler. Unlike many of the other customers that he has scammed we are lucky enough to have a pool that can be used. It is a big sloppy mess with many deficiencies, but at least we can use it unlike most of the other people who also fell for this charlatan. If you look on the yelp page of his other company 5 star pool and pavers, you will see the same trend. Collecting money and doing subpar work or worse, no work at all. His crew does not know how to plaster and he has zero oversight. We paid for diamond Brite which is similar to Pebble tech and are now having to deal with a big old slippery mess. If you think you will have his bond from the licensing board to fall back on, forget it. You will be in a long line of people also trying to be made whole. You too can also join the long list of customers,, sub contractors, and vendors suing him. Just know, if you hire Jason, you might as well light a sack of cash on fire because then you wouldn't have a mess of a job to deal with on top of the loss of money. Jason and Ernie promise you everything and never deliver. They never show up unless there's money to collect. We paid for the majority of our pool and paver job prior to the completion of work only to get ripped off. When work was done, it had to be torn out as the craftsmanship was horrible. I still have no working vacuum as the plumbing was installed incorrectly. I have pavers with no grout and the Pebble Tech was installed incorrectly in our pool, so the pool is blotchy and stained. I paid for exterior stair lighting and to date I have none. I also had to pay off a $10,000 lien that was placed on my home by the Gunite company because Jason didn't pay them, even though I had paid Jason. His crew showed up to the job two weeks ago and informed me that Jason had closed the business and let them all go and hadn't paid them in weeks. Jason and his company will take your money, start the job, and then leave it a shamble. Read the reviews, check the photos, and buyer beware!!!!!!! I wish we had..... Jason/Ernie call us back. We already paid you $60k, are you abandoning job?? You demo'd our pool November 2023. Then spend 4 months trying to install a few tiles. It is now Dec 2024 and tile work or coping isn't finished. The resurfacing and pool plumbing and heater replacement should have been done by now. Pool has been left empty for last 2 wet seasons and we have high water table visible nearby. Call us back and complete this job. We have already paid you $60,000. All cost for material has been paid. You have been given access to the site and know what to complete. We have sent you multiple reminders and yet you abandon jobsite for more than 14 days (even months) at a time. This contractor has received more than 36 violations of the Business and Professional Code per the Contracting State Licensing Board. I'm so angry that I fell for this company! Unfortunately, the negative reviews were not up when they took my money in November! They demoed the pool as others described (removing the plaster down to the gunite) Then required the payment for most of the balance. It's been a month since then and they have not returned my calls since. They originally told me they were moving to a new location so I went to the old location and the supposed new location. Both offices are empty. The website has also been taken down! This is not incompetence, this is outright fraud! read more

I also signed a contract with Jason in early October. He demoed the pool and then nothing more was done. I was told that the manager of his company stole the money and the company is closing. How can all of us who lost our money connect to move forward with next steps? read more

If I could give negative stars or 0 stars I would. Jason started our pool, paver and yard landscaping project in September of 2023, the work was such poor quality and done so badly by December more then half the project had fallen apart. It took the company from December of 2023 to June of 2024 to start their good faith repairs on the project. Since June our yard has been completely ripped up for the repairs and unusable. He and his staff consistently make promises to be here and complete the work and then no show. We have made countless contact attempts and they either promise to be here and no show or just ignore our messages. We still have an unfinished project and a yard that my family can't even use. We have paid Jason and his company over 110k and have nothing to show for it. Now it appears Jason has closed his business, has multiple licensing code violations and multiple law suits against him for doing the same to other customers and abandoning projects after he received his payments. We are devastated and so upset by this experience. We only hope that he isn't able to continue to do business with anyone else in the future! read more

Their name says it all! From start to finish we had the best experience. Jason and Ernie managed the project with precision. I was skeptical putting in natural stone pavers around the pool but now wish I would have done it alone time ago as they are way more cool on the feet then concrete like Jason mentioned to me. If I could give this company in any of Jason's other companies negative stars I would! I too have been duped by this liar of a business owner. Even after reading all of these reviews and writing a yelp review once already, Jason threatened me telling me to take down my yelp review or else he wouldn't do the Fix repairs on the already out of code job that he did at my house. I paid $55,000 for a pool deck and resurfacing of my pool and many things were done out of code and he failed to install a drain system which is pretty much standard for any pool deck. Many of the pavers have weeds growing through them. My waterfall is burnt from when the workers torched it to "cure" it. But aside from all of the scummy work that was done Jason lied many times saying he was going to come back and fix it. We haven't heard one word from him since August and he has officially ghosted us. He's probably just buying time so that people think that they don't have anything against him and he can just do what he's doing to more people. Run run run far away. Do not even touch this company if it even exists anymore. You will be out 50+ grand with a shitty job on hand. I will be filing with the CSLB anyways just for principal because this is such bad business practices. read more

You might think it's a daunting task having a pool resurfaced and having new tile installed, let me tell you it's not. Five Star was able to come out and look at our pool on a Saturday. Jason came out and invited us to show up the next day at the showroom to pick out our ledger stone, tile and Pebble Tech surface. Jason was extremely helpful. The process is easier than you think. They came out and drained my pool on Monday. The demo team was there the following day and done within six hours. Wednesday, our swimming line tile went up and Thursday the ledger stone went up. His teams are highly professional and very courteous. A new LED light and variable speed whisper quiet motor was installed right after that. As a courtesy, he replaced all my above ground connecting pipes to my filter and motor. They also capped off m to y unused solar. They resurfaced my pool by Saturday. We were filling up the pool on Sunday. It's was completely remodeled in less then a week. His crew knows what they're doing. His price is better than all others. There is nothing to question.
