This review is far overdue, but better late than never! I had the misfortune of being rear-ended twice within a week! I was referred to Fix Auto for repairs by USAA (the other driver's insurance company for the first accident), and requested them after the second accident. Someone rear ended me pretty badly and I ended up taking my car to Fix Auto. They had someone take me to and from the rental car place when needed, completed the service before the estimated date, and ordered a new license plate holder for me since it was damaged in the accident (Alex even put it on for me during his lunch break!) My wife got into a minor accident which was not her fault, but her car's front bumper and hood were dented and needed to be inspected for further damage. USAA recommended this place, and my wife said the guy's eye just "lit up" when he heard USAA and without even popping the hood, he proclaimed she immediately needed a new hood, bumper, and possibly more work ($$$$). He seemed very eager to add on more, which was exactly what we didn't want because her car is older and we did not want to total it unless absolutely necessary. Without her work authorization or any paperwork, they put the work quote through the insurance for the recommended amount. We had no idea until we found out online that they already got their money! After cancelling the check, she went to another shop that was highly recommended in LB and felt more comfortable and they actually talked to her and explained everything thoroughly. I will review them when we get her car back. So we didn't get any work done here but didn't feel comfortable leaving her car with the person that helped us. read more

Wow! Happy But NOT! We were really happy to get there repairs done within such a quick turn around. Thanks. But only to be disappointed to have to pay the $500 deductible that shouldn't have been paid. It was written in my AAA Paperwork that the deductible was "WAIVED" but they still insisted it be paid. So now I'm out of $500 and have to wait to get it back from my Insurance company when I really didn't have it to give & wait. So 1 star for quickness on the repairs. But total Satisfaction. Terrible experience. Got in a collision, nothing too drastic, and took my car here recommended by Geico. After telling me they'd need to keep my car for 3 full weeks (why so long?) they told me they'd keep me updated on status. Did I receive a single update until the 3 weeks passed? No. Once it was finally time to pick it up, I was told they needed an additional day. Really over 3 weeks and you still can't complete it? So when I did finally go to pick up...it STILL wasn't done. Anyways I finally got it back and now 2 days later I've discovered 2 things wrong with my car (screechy noise when I turn my steering wheel and the rubber stopper in window peels down when I attempt to roll down). This seriously scares me what else under the hood I don't know about they half assed. Oh...and now here I am taking it back to get fixed meaning more rental car and more frustration. Incredible experience this past week with Fernando and the team at Fix Auto - Long Beach. After damaging the top/hood of my rear trunk, I was fortunate to find Fix Auto - Long Beach, one of the only Tesla-certified collision repair facilities near my home in the South Bay. After an initial consultation and time to order the necessary parts, my car was scheduled to be dropped off on a Monday morning. Fix Auto worked directly with my insurance company to handle payment, which was really nice. They also use a text message system to keep you apprised of the status of your repairs, and I received updates throughout the week, sometimes multiple times per day. They did a really good job on my car. The back section where I was hit looked better and my trunk functioned more properly than when I got it off the lot. The work they do is absolutely on point. My insurance paid for it so I only had to pay my deductible so I cannot speak on their prices. But they do excellent work, and I have a very difficult metallic paint that is easy to see if it is not matched up perfectly. Would highly recommend. Fast turn around and good communication. I picked this place because my insurance suggested it and I am glad I did! I've been in accidents before and have had to have my car fixed, but this was by far the best service I've ever had!! Daniel was amazing. Not only does my car look as good as it did when I purchased it, they detailed the inside as well! My car was ready within a week and happened to be complete on a Friday. I'm a nurse so I work 7am-7pm Friday, Monday, and Tuesday. They are closed on the weekend so I wouldn't have been able to pick up my car until Wednesday, my next off day. I had a significant amount of damage and they kept me updated on repairs. Aside from the completion date moving back a couple of times, I am satisfied. Don't take your car here. First off the expected wait time to get my car fixed was a month!! I just brought my car in to get an estimate, just an estimate for the damage. It's going on two weeks just for them to do that. When I called to see what was going on, they blamed it on my insurance for the delay. Then I called the next day and this guy says he will email the estimate to me. I still haven't gotten an email about anything. Very unprofessional. I had two choices for local repair shops given to me by my insurance company if I wanted the work guaranteed. The contrast in experience was huge and I'm so happy I chose Fix Auto over the other one. The first one would have taken days to even get in, and Fix Auto took me the first day. Nobody even greeted me at the first one and it seemed disorganized. Fix auto was extremely welcoming and engaged and the office was much more comfortable. This was a big deal after you've just experienced a traumatic accident. They took the car before all the coordination was done with the ins. co. and drove me home. Then they kept me informed by text and phone on the progress of the repair several times a week. They had my car ready as we scheduled, which was very expedient. I was also impressed that they gave me my car even though a supplier shorted them a small plastic piece and were willing to go to my home and install it rather than delay delivery of the car. These people, especially Alex, really, really get customer service and go the extra mile that I wish more companies did, no matter the type of company. And btw, they did a great job. The car looks exactly like it did before as if it was never in an accident. I selected this business strictly based on the excellent Yelp reviews and because it was a State Farm Insurance Select Service Repair Facility. My bumper on the right side was dented in a parking lot accident. I can't say enough about the quality customer service I received as soon as I walked through the door. I had called ahead of time to make sure that they had my claim information before going there. They run a very tidy, clean and organized front office. Within a few minutes after they obtained my basic information, Chelsea Logan came out to inspect the car and to let me know what they would do to fix the damage. Within minutes Chelsea informed me that her team was ready to start dismantling the bumper to determine the exact damage and would contact me with the estimate. Shortly after that, someone from Enterprise Rent-A-Car (from down the street) came to pick me up so I could rent my car from them while my damaged car was being fixed. Three days later in the afternoon, my car was ready to be picked up! During the entire process, Fix Auto Long Beach emailed and texted me with progress notes along the way. When I went to pick up my car, I was immediately taken care of and Chelsea was there to explain what they fixed and that the work came with a lifetime guarantee. They actually have two shops, one in Long Beach and the other in Signal Hill. Each shop takes different insurances. I would highly recommend this business needing their services. Front fender and headlight destroyed in an accident. Went to them because they were the closest recommended by my insurance company. Checked me in quickly and efficiently. Told me with great precision what needed to be done. Kept me informed on status by text message. When parts didn't come in on time they offered (without my request) to cover additional cost of replacement rental car. After doing the repair, one of the managers took the car out for a test ride. Wasn't satisfied with results, so did additional repairs and extended coverage of rental car for another day. Even fixed a small problem in the rear of the car which had nothing to do with the accident. (And, by the way, they didn't charge my insurer for that extra work.) Stayed late for me to pick up the car when it was ready. I left the rental with them and they arranged for rental company to pick it up. These folks are totally the real deal. read more
