This shop has been excellent! I was unsure of where to take my vehicle and ultimately chose Fix Auto on Vanderbilt. I initially spoke to the office manager and she advised that have a rental vehicle reimbursement system which is great because I do not have rental coverage on my policy--this was a huge factor in choosing this shop for repairs. I took my car in and Chris was very helpful through out the process. He kept me updated every step of the way and always answered my questions in a timely manner. I believe the office managers name is Jennifer, I spoke to her as well and she was great. I showed concern about needing my vehicle because I was running out of rental coverage and they were on it. My vehicle was returned to be before the estimated finish date. My vehicle looks like new! This place is awful. Took my car here to get fixed and 4 months later I finally got it back. Not to mention I STILL had to bring my car back for other repairs that weren't done right. To make matters worse, took the car to my Subaru dealership and they ask me what happened to my car and who did such bad work to it!! I'll never come back to ANY fix auto for service. Not to mention they had the nerve of invoicing my insurance company over $15k for the hack job that was done. Avoid if possible!! read more

Fix Auto was a place I wished I could give 5 stars to because when they worked on my vehicle the first around, it was great. Sadly though I had to take my vehicle back after another incident and this second time around was not so great. I took my vehicle in for a simple bumper fix, and within less than 24hrs my vehicle was stolen from there lot. I don't know how it even happened because they have a tall gated fence that seems to be heavy to open or close. My advice is just to be aware and careful at this location. The keys get left in the vehicle overnight making it easy to be stolen. read more

I didn't like the fact how everything end between the new person i dealt with for my car, and the insurance adjuster. Plus my car they messed it up mechanical, refused to take responsibility between my insurance adjuster and Fix Auto Ontario, they were just making excuses to not fix the $4,000 transmission problem Fix Auto Ontario left me with..... Metal body was not left correctly plus they didn't paint the entire car as I was promised from the 1st guy that accepted my claim, the roof was left unpainted with them making excuses saying insurance and adjuster will not cover or pay for it, when I was promised the entire car was going to be fix and paint. The 1st guys that took my claim and promise everything, Quit on them while my car was in the shop and no one ever bother to call me to let me know until I called to find out why my car was taking sooo loooong. At the beginning I was promised all kinds of excellent service but at the end, it was all Very Much poor service between the guy that took over the guy that Quit on them and the adjuster. .... Eduardo and Joseph were both very professional, kind, and courteous. I had to call in a ride after dropping off my car, and they offered to wait to close up shop for my ride to arrive. Couldn't be more grateful for my experience. I came in a panic to get a scratch out of my truck door and needed it done discreetly and as quick as possible. The guy who helped me from the office wasn't the original one I had spoke with on the phone but was super helpful and got his head painter to take my truck in and buff it out. He was not only to buff it out but helped with another spot that has a big paint transfer and got it completely out. They then completed the service and didn't charge me anything. I have had my cars here twice throughout the years. My first experience was great so I chose to be a repeat customer. What started out as an unsatisfactory experience (mainly due to poor communication/failed promises) Alfredro stepped in and personally took over my unsatisfactory situation. What could have been a very negative review in fact turned out to be the opposite. I am thankful for Alfredro, his attention to detail, his superior customer service and timely communications. The detailers also did a great job, for the most part. There were imperfections but Alfredro quickly identified those, advised me of them and remediated those without any effort from me. With younger generations failing to understand the importance of quality customer care, this manager gets it. If you promise something, he will stand behind it 110%. Please do me and your future customers a favor and recognize excellence when you see it. My insurance sent us here and from the time we arrived everyone was very attentive. Marlene (I hope I got that correct) was so informative and helpful she explained everything to me step by step. As for the facility it self, it was super clean, nice spacious waiting area and complimentary drinks. I had previously used Fix Auto Ontario several years ago to get the front end damage on a van I had purchased used repaired, and was pleased with the results, so when the rear body panel of my Prius came loose after a minor incident I went there to have it fixed. Alex who was working there helped me get the panel back in place in ten minutes at no charge! Alex was very courteous and professional. He consistently provided repair updates for my vehicle while it was being repaired. My vehicle is by no means an expensive vehicle or a collectors car, but this repair shop made me feel valued as a customer. The reason why I wanted to restore my damaged vehicle to its near original condition was because it means the world to me. It is my first new car. I got married in it. It has reliably driven me to school, work, road trips, and back home safely. Over the course of 6 years, I had three children. I drove all three of my newborn children home in it the day they were each released from the hospital. I was shopping around for a paint job on my wrx rocker panel. After getting quotes and estimates from diff shops, it was hard for me to say no to the quote fix auto gave me. It was at least 100$ cheaper than the other shops. From the time I walked in to when I left, it was an easy, hassle free process. Alex was the one who greeted me and helped me get what I needed. He even went above and beyond to ask the painters the time line to when it was finished. I stayed a total of 2 hours and left a happy and satisfied customer. This place is something. They are SUPER nice to you in the beggining. As soon as you start talking about how you work on cars and like to do repairs yourself, they assume you are going to want to work on it yourself so they WILL take their sweet time to even look or tear it down. Took my car in Tuesday 8/29 as I signed a contract for them to remove and assess the damage under the front bumper and they called me on thursday asking if they wanted me to remove the bumper. ‍ How are you going to have me sign a contract only to call me again 2 days later to see if I want work done? Isn't that why I signed that in the first place?! Finally, they remove it and I go to see the car in person because some of the main items I saw damaged (before the bumper was off) were NOT included (oil cooler reservior & headlamp washer). I asked the tech that was with me if he can include it in the estimate and get me an updated one, he agreed. I receive a phone call from them on 9/1/20 asking if I am going to get the work done there. I told them not until I receive the update as I need EVERYTHING fixed back to how it was. Unfortunately, NONE of the employees I spoke to were even remotely able to explain. It got to a point where she transfered me to someone who can explain "better" but even he didn't even know how to explain it and tried talking over me even after he asked me a question. If people wont even let you finish their answer, how do you expect them to listen you?. Ohh and don't bother talking to Chris (the manager) he sides with his employees even though they are in the wrong. He even admitted to me that "we are under a lot of stress here, so sometimes the employees will snap back" that was a bit of a shock to me because, you NEVER take out stuff on your customers just because your work day is a little backed up. Seems VERY unprofessional to say the least. Funniest part about it was he said they didn't include the reservior and other parts because they assumed I wanted to work on the car, so they left the main parts out so if I did want to fix it myself I would have to get it towed to somewhere else to get a PROPER estimate because apparently they couldn't see the damage on the oil cooler reservior‍ I find that super funny. Since the vehicle is no longer mine, I had to leave it with this petty company for repairs. Called MY insurance, literally clarified everything they were trying to say and made life EASIER! (thanks Natalie from Geico) :) Moral of the story. If you work on cars, shut your mouth and keep it to yourself because this company likes to ASSUME instead of physically ask their customers face to face. Will be the only and LAST time I use this place. Ohh good work though, just leaving you 1 star because of the outrageous service I received :) thanks and see you NEVER! Got the car back on 9.14.20 claiming the vehicle was done. I come to check it out and the car is not complete as they say. Left turn signal doesnt function and they didn't even asses the suspension (even though it was hit from that side) it ckearly states that they drive the vehicle to test everything and my car had the same exact milage it had when I brought it in. They just assessed the outside damage and did not even bother with anything else ‍. First and last time here MOST definitely! I could have assembled everything myself better and then gotten it painted by someone. If you plan on coming here I wish you the best of luck. 09.26.20 After receiving the car and checking on it after a few days. I come to find out they did not even replace the parts that were paid for!!!! DO NOT COME HERE. I repeat! Note: The following review slipped through the cracks. It's been tucked somewhere in my drafts for awhile, you know, the case of the old "out of sight, out of mind". However ,although it's a few years old, the sentiment still lingers. Before I begin my rant let us get one thing straight, I am not a critic or a reviewer of any kind--professional nor amateur. I consider myself more of a vigilante. A punisher of naughty businesses--occasionally a remunerator for those establishments who've gone the extra mile for me. Two stars, three stars, four stars...bah! I give, either, five stars or a measly one, and my two cents. That's it! I'm old-school. You're either terrible or great. I waste no time for mediocrity. Having said that, let's get started...come closer, please, my voice is hoarse from yelling at Finks' Auto. Finks' Auto in Ontario...tsk, tsk, tsk (I wave my index finger at my monitor). For starters, I took my car to them in December 2021, and, yes, I am going there, Finks'. Seven months later my car is finally ready. I know, I know...Covid, right? Covid is the excuse for every mediocre business's drop-of-the-ball. Every screw up. Every eff-up. "Phew, thank God for Covid," says every bad business, "I no longer have to live up to the good-business standards." And, reader, you might think I'm being a little too harsh and uptight. But listen, to begin with, I only took my car in for an estimate. Finks' kept it because it was "unlawful and unsafe" to give it back with a bad seatbelt buckle. Okay...I get it, Finks'. But then they kept my car over seven months and told me throughout, "Because of Covid, we cannot find a buckle. We're trying really hard, though. Rest assured." Meanwhile, I couldn't rest lest be assured. The car rental bill was adding up and fighting with an insurance company over anything can be time-consuming and stressful. But I waited. And I fought the insurance company. And I waited. And I fought more. Then I had a brilliant idea: why don't I call my vehicle's manufacturer and get them involved. They got involved and saved the day (I guess this review should be really about them, huh? 5 STARS FOR THEM!). Anyways, they confirmed that belt buckles for my specific car model were scarce. However, they also confirmed that Finks' placed an order, but never put it on "priority". Therefore, the buckles that were becoming available were being dispersed to those who had put them on "priority". So I said the logical thing to say (and I'm not in the auto-body business), "well then, please put my buckle order on priority." A couple of weeks later, Finks' sends me a text, gloating about how they finally got the long-awaited seatbelt buckle. Finks' wagged its tail, panted, looked at me and waited for me to pat it on the head. Instead I say, "B-b-bad boy, Finks'. Bad boy!" And Finks'--whoa...what? Their name is Fix? Wait a minute, are you pulling my leg? No? Oh, my. What a terrible mistake. You mean to tell me that all this time I've been inappropriately calling them Fink's? Oops. read more

I had to have my car bumper and a sensor fixed after someone hit my parked car. Alex and the entire team at Fix Auto were absolutely amazing! They kept me and the insurance company updated throughout the process, listened to and addressed any questions I had, and returned my car in pristine condition. They really went above and beyond! Now to top it off they said they replaced the washer fluid reservoir which they didn't and they didn't even bother to check it. I had removed an emblem from my tailgate which left a 6" square area scratched and dull (Looked awful) I thought I'd have to have the whole tailgate repainted but Gustavo was able to buff it out to look as beautiful as before. It only took about 10 minutes and did it while I waited. Alex didn't even charge me anythin (hope he doesn't get in trouble).Would definitely recommend Fix Auto to anyone who may need their services. This shop is fantastic, after taking my car to another shop in Riverside who was giving me the runaround... I was referred to Ken Oliver at Fix Auto, who got me in promptly to look at the damage to my car. He ordered the parts and had me bring it in once he had them for the repairs.
