A little late on reviewing this shop but I had went in a few weeks ago due to some paint I sprayed on older Honda Accord. I went into pep boys to grab spray paint to touch up a lot on car cause I'm putting car up for sale. I sprayed the spray pain at sundown and couldn't tell that the color didn't match and kept spraying areas that needed touch up work and the next day when I saw it in daylight I saw that it was definitely not the right color and I even had one of the employees help find right paint but ended up not being right color. I ended up looking up body shops and that's when I found this shop and extremely glad I found them. There's one employee I have to thank mostly and that is Anthony. When I told him I needed to get spray paint off and make car look like it used to he immediately went to grab paint thinner and clean soft towels and started wiping down and getting rid of the spray paint for me. He is so sweet and such a great asset to this shop and also a very hard worker that probably even deserves a raise. The first repair they picked up my car and returned it. Seamless process they handled all the details with insurance and I spent all of five minutes of my own time. I have had 2 cars worked on at Fix Auto, one car many times (teenage son) and have not one complaint. The service advisor Carlos is always polite, professional and handles all the insurance and paper work. The quality of work is A+ and the final detail of car before getting it back is stellar. I never feel like I was gouged her and in fact feel like Carlos tries to keep costs minimal and at times includes minor fixes at no extra charge. I have had the pleasure, at no fault of my own, to visit Fix Auto San Clemente way too often over the past year. I've been there twice for my vehicle, once for my wife's. As inconvenient as it is to have your vehicle worked out of service, Fix Auto (Anton and Caleb) have made the process very digestible. They go out of their way to provide excellent customer service and to ease the burden of dealing with the insurance companies. In addition, the actual work on the vehicles is impeccable. They do not rush through the process in order to make sure the work is done to perfection, down to the smallest of details. I even had a couple of incidental issues that they were to research and find the simple fixes for. They always answer the phone calls, or are quick to call back and are very communicative throughout the entire process. Upon picking the vehicle up, they thoroughly explain all the work that was completed and present the vehicle freshly detailed. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!! We were sent to Beach Cities by our insurance company so we trusted in the recommendation. Unfortunately, they were not equipped to deal with the damage sustained by our vehicle and ended up causing thousands of dollars worth of additional damages. They actually caused the engine of our brand new SUV to fail to the extent that we are now waiting to have a BRAND NEW engine reinstalled...a two week process, on top of the two weeks they took in destroying the car initially. At the end of the day, Beach Cities wanted the insurance money, regardless of whether or not they could correctly repair the car. I wouldn't trust those types of ethics with your vehicle, especially if you are driving children around. DON'T BOTHER. read more

Best in Town.....By Far!!! I have 5 teenage children (blended) so collision repair is something I'm unfortunately too familiar with. Have had vehicles at Beach Cities twice and their level of concern for your vehicle and the communication they maintain during the process is unmatched. I've had vehicles at the other big shop in town and the big one in SJC, and I'm 100% certain Beach Cities stands far and above the others. I think they work with almost all insurances so even if your adjuster or agent tries to send you elsewhere, tell them you want your repairs done at Beach Cities. You'll be glad you did! Good people. When I drove into a tree that has stood in front of my house for 60 years, I was very upset. A neighbor recommended that I call Fix Auto. Carlos came by, gave me an estimate and said that he could come later to drive the car to the shop which is about 2 miles from my house. It was beautifully repaired in 2 days and they even washed it and cleaned the very dusty interior. I give Fix Auto 5 stars. I brought my new Honda Fit in for a repair after a hit and run- I had a dent/scratch running from front to back on the drivers side, and my windshield had also cracked. It was a pretty awful situation, but these guys made the process seamless. I made an appointment with them, came in the next day, filled out a few pieces of paperwork, and they had a guy from Enterprise pick me up all within about 10 minutes. My car was done in three or four business days, and they even arranged for someone to come out and replace my windshield on site. I honestly didn't have to do anything, and they called me with updates whenever anything came up. I felt completely at ease the entire time. The best part- the paint matches perfectly- you can't even tell there was any damage to begin with. My car looks brand new and I've got these guys to thank! I visited Fix Auto to see if they could fix a broken door handle I had on my car. I was expecting an estimate and a scheduled appointment sometime in the future where I would have to leave my car. I was pleasantly surprised when the manager said let me take a look. Bottom line in less than an hour they had a technician look at and fix my car. The service was unbelievable and the price was far better than I could have possibly hoped for. I'm so glad I took my car to Fix Auto, they went above and beyond when caring for my car. A few weeks ago my car starting smelling terrible like a dead rat or rat urine and I noticed little droppings and a part of my plastic on the ac was chewed up. I called my insurance and the recommended a few different places to go to and I chose Fix Auto because it's close to home and my dad took his car there in the past and had a good experience. The staff at Fix Auto had great communication and was updating me on my car daily and they were quick! I'm so thankful they investigated and found the dead rat (gross). They collaborated with my insurance and took care of everything with them as well as got the necessary parts they needed from Honda. Had a door out of alignment on my Dodge Ram pickup and it was rubbing the paint off my roof. Heard good things about Fix Auto so I gave them a call. Spoke to Anton. This was about 11am in the morning. He said to bring it in after lunch so he could have one of the techs look at it. When I arrived Anton greeted me right away. After looking at the truck he asked one of the techs to come out and look at it. He asked me if I had a few minutes. I said sure and gave him the keys. They took the truck around back to work on it. In no time, I heard the truck pull back around front. I walked out and asked Anton how it looked. He said to look at the door and tell him what I thought. To my surprise it was aligned perfectly. When I asked how much it would be for fixing it, he said there was no charge. In today's world that kind of kindness is rare. It says a lot about the character and integrity of the organization. I will not hesitate to come back for additonal work on our family vehicles and I will recommend Fix Auto to neighbors and friends who need help with their vehicles. I brought my car in to Fix Auto for an estimate to repair my right side mirror. The damage occurred while my car was parked outside a bowling alley on a windy rainy evening few weeks ago. The next morning at home, I discovered about a one inch length of the plastic cushion surrounding the mirror was broken creating a hole and if water gets in will cause corrosion. Insurance consider that a collision damage (which I disagree) meaning I have to pay $250 deductible! I called dealer and the parts department told me the plastic cushion cannot be ordered separately and that I have to replace the entire side mirror that cost $480 + tax! Anyway, Walter the manager took a look and said it is silly to have to replace the whole side mirror for the small damage and he asked me to give him 20 minutes with the car. Surely he came back after 20 minutes with the hole repaired and told me it is free of charge! He saved me and the insurance company a whole bunch of money.
