This place is always a hit or miss. They're very inconsistent with the food quality & taste. Idk if it's the difference in the cooks or what. It's sad because when they hit they are very good. Lately, it's been a lot of misses. This was ALL THE MEAT IN MY TACO. The asada is very chunky, dry, no flavor and a lot of fat. Surprised people haven't choked on it. The al pastor can be really good but again, it's very inconsistent. Sometimes it comes with pineapple and sometimes it doesn't. I hope they can find a way to stay consistent on better quality food like they used to.

I had 4 tacos 2 of asada and 2 of pastor. They were delicious and quick. They are located on mchenry in an easy parking lot to get in. The tortillas were crispy and they served the pastor tacos with a slice of pineapple and cheese skirt.

The taco stand we wanted wasn't set up yesterday, so we tried this taco truck instead. My carne asada tacos were okay, but the meat wasn't seasoned or marinated. Most of the flavor came from the fried tortillas, onion, cilantro, and lime. 7/10 My son said his Al Pastor burrito was a little cold inside. But he was satisfied with the flavor and rated it an 8/10. My husband said the rice and beans were good, but their serving sizes were small. I agree that there was more flavor in the sides. Service felt flat, nothing special. They have a few tables underneath a tent behind a gas station. I don't think we'll go back.

Good sized street style tacos. BUT..... PLEASE!!' they NEED to give MORE SALSA!!! Each order has to have enough salsa for EACH taco!! not just enough for ONE taco. This is the second time I've ordered from this location on Mc Henry and the salsa was an issue then too. I even mentioned the salsa and still.... Not enough. Great tacos! Ordered the Birria and the Asada tacos and they came out awesome. The size of the tacos is larger then the traditional street taco size and you can get all the toppings you like. Service was great and friendly. The location is a bit sketchy but there isn't much a safe space in Modesto anymore since all these liberals voted for a governor that would release prison inmates. read more

I'm gonna be 100% real about this place. It's a hype. There's no possible way this could be anyones go to spot. Caption on the trucks ig said "just a skinny guy who makes bomb ass tacos". We'll that was a lie the tacos were dry and not good what do ever. (CONS) Super burrito- Nothing super about it..it was full of rice barely any sour cream & not much meat at all. More rice then anything. Tacos Asada - Super dry! Nothing special about em. Tacos were trashed after the first bite. (PROS) -Salsa was good had some what of a Lucas candy taste to it. -Pineapple Fresca was good. 2/10 I don't recommend spending your money here go anywhere else but I promise you. Recently there was a mix up with my food and that of my boyfriends. I had gotten his burrito and it had salsa and I am allergic to jalapeños. Upon taking a bite not knowing I got his my mouth swelled. I called the truck and they made right by it, they were very awesome to me and understood the issue, apologized and made me a new burrito a couple days later .. it was DELICIOUS and I am so thankful they were humble enough to make it up to me. Unfortunately this is not the place to come in and hope to wait 10-15 minutes for your food. I've been waiting for about half and hour .... On my lunch .... For a burrito. Come but expect a DECENT wait time. I ended up waiting 40 minutes for the most anorexic burrito I've ever had, mind you it is a "super burrito". My new favorite taco truck! They have this pastor tortaco I've never had before and I'm OBSESSED. The food is so good it feels like my grandma in Mexico cooked it herself. Definitely authentic mexican food. My picky 9 year old had the kids potato taco plate and actually really liked it, she asked for more. The potato tacos took a bit to come out which they told me when I ordered because they make it fresh. Well worth the wait and I didn't mind because the fresher the better. We both had the horchata drink and it was super flavorful. Some horchata drinks taste watered down at other places but this one wasn't at all. The owner is actually in the taco truck cooking and working. They're all super friendly. I'm from LA so I know taco trucks and go to Tijuana often to eat authentic Mexican food, I must say this taco truck gives them all a run for their money. It'll definitely be our go to taco truck when we're in town. Highly recommend. read more

I come here at least once a week. I never use to order carne asada until eating here, now it's one of my favorite meats! I always get their carne asada super burrito extra spicy and some Al pastor tacos. I love how the Al pastor tacos have a little crunch on their shell. The food wasn't awful but it wasn't good either. My super burrito was mostly rice with very little meat and beans, hardly any sour cream and no onions or cilantro as requested. My wife's tacos were dry, my son ate his whole quesadilla so atleast he liked it. The prices weren't awful but I'd never come here again. read more

I've been here 4 times and each time the food has been great! I have to say they are one of the most consistent taco trucks that I've ever been too. The Supreme tacos and the quality of the meat is awesome. So many times you get more fat than meat and this place is not that. It's a must try. read more

So glad I stopped to eat. I got a potato Taco and asada taco. I love the crunch on the potato tacos and the asada flavor is so delicious! The guy at the window was very nice and I love the open space and seating area. make sure to stop by & try them out. read more
