Customer service is decent but portion size sucks! This location is around the corner from 24 Hr Fitness. In theory The Flame Broiler is a great alternative to other post workout foods, however, very poorly executed. I paid for extra chicken and got a single serving. My wife wanted a good quick place to eat so we found it on yelp with 5stars and we thought let's give it a try and see what's this magic sauce people are talking about and it turns out it's awesome! I love flame broiler but this one isnt taking Covid precaution measures. How ironic when their signs say they are.. the woman in the back especially isnt. Touching vegetables without gloves, wiping the sweat from her forehead, touching cooking utensils.. etc without washing her hands is very disgusting especially when food handling. I think it's the supervisor (he's middle eastern?) here that makes this flame broiler worth coming back to even though there's 2 more closer to me. I know it's just a bowl of rice and your choice of meat that's easy and quick to go but he legitimately greets everyone that comes in and makes it a goal to have a conversation with every customer that comes in. People love talking to him and his conversations and energy is definitely genuine. I will keep coming back. First, nothing wrong with my food. Delicious as always, but the service sucks. Today, I called on the phone to place an order, very simple two regular bowls 1 beef 1 half & half. The lady on the phone told me it would be ready in 10 mins. I told her my boyfriend wouldn't be able to pick it up until 20 mins and she said it's fine & that it will be ready by then. Tell me why, when it was time to pick it up the food wasn't even made yet!!! When my boyfriend got there, the lady in the front had to tell the man in the back to start making it. Woot!! Finally a flamebroiler in the valley. Just opened up and its fresh, delicious and clean. 6.95 for any bowl plus a drink; healthy and affordable! For those who haven't tried it, its a better yoshinoya. So much better. Crisp veggies with fresh grilled chicken and/or steak over rice. It is 9:52PM and I am at the front door and they are telling me they're closed and don't have any food but it says you don't close until 10 o'clock... I would suggest you get employees who abide by the rules not just want to leave on their own time. They make you wait in the long line just to pay while your food sits getting cold. When you're limited on time, this makes for antsy customers that need to get back to their jobs. Their prices are reasonable and their rewards program is real and the rewards are achievable. The only weird thing about this location is that it's under a gym and sometimes the sound of people dropping heavy weights sends a jolt through the building.
