The cheese fries were average at best, and the $9.99 onion strings were overpriced for both the portion and the quality. In total, we spent almost $80 before tip, and the meal was simply not worth it. Between the 45-minute wait, disappointing food quality, poor value, and inconsistent preparation, this was one of the most underwhelming fast-casual dining experiences I've had. I won't be coming back, and I cannot recommend this location.

I really don't get it. How does this place have such great reviews? I got the half and half bowl and it wasn't special...in fact, it was pretty bad. I chose this place because it was open, and the reviews were pretty good. I was also craving a teriyaki bowl and this place was as close as I would be able to get (unless I settled for the Jack in the Box teriyaki bowl which is pretty bad). I was excited to eat this and it turned out to be a disappointment. -BARELY any meat, and a lot of rice. Seriously, the bowl was heavy because of all the rice and the crumbs of meat. That would be okay if the rice was great but... -The rice was not cooked well. It was all stuck together, dry, and chewy. Not sticky or fluffy, just chewy. Felt like they had that rice sitting around for a while because it was just dried out. -The flavor of the meat was non-existent. It needed a sauce BADLY, but... -The "magic" sauce is WAAAAAY too sweet, and liquidy. Just a horrible, gross version of teriyaki sauce. Rather than coating the meat, it just drowned the rice. Made the bowl inedible. -The beef was dry and rubbery. I didn't give this a 1 star rating because I like to reserve those reviews for places that have terrible service, or dirty food. This place does not have terribles service (the girl at the front register was helpful and sweet) and the food seemed pretty clean. Although the meat (or lack thereof) was flavorless, the pieces were not fatty. I'd have to one star this place if that were the case. I am SO excited that the Flame Broiler opened up in the valley! I've been to other locations before, but this one is my favorite! The food is so fresh and cooked to perfection. I usually get the works bowl with a side of ribs..TRY THE RIBS..THEY ARE AMAZING!! The store is always nice and clean. But my favorite part of all: the customer service. I had a chance to talk to the owner, Ricky, as I was waiting for my food. He was so friendly and attentive to his customers! The employees were going above and beyond to make sure everyone had a great experience. Overall, I LOVED everything about it.. and I will definitely be a regular customer :) read more

**Yummmyyyyy** If your looking for some delicious yet healthy food, this is the place to go to. This is the first time I came here since its new and I was so happy I did. The food was very tasty and the best part is that it did great with my diet. They have delicious bowls and plate options with chicken, beef and ribs. Includes white or brown rice and veggies as well. I do not have any expectation that this place will be here much longer. I was at the Best Buy next door and on my way out I asked the 2 employees at the door if they ever ate here. They looked at each other and said no. First time here. Would help if there were photos of what I could order. The person taking the order really did not know what to do or what went with what. Whenever I have felt the pull for wings, it was always the place on Reseda, in Northridge. Problems there were annoyingly two-fold. For one, you have to battle the choking traffic to get there and get back. Secondly, after calling the order in, you have to once again stand in line, with the people placing walk in orders, to get what is already ready and waiting for you. Overall, the whole process was too time consuming, and irritating, to say the least. Recently, it was revealed to me that there was a Wingstop location on Chatsworth, in Granada Hills. This Wingstop is a small space, no sit down tables, only carry out. But the difference here was immediately apparent and inviting. Warm greetings, very friendly staff, lots of smiles and accommodating customer service. I was a walk-in customer for carry out, just 10 wings only. Half Spicy Korean the other half, Original Hot. That came to over $17 with one complimentary ranch dressing. All the wings for any Wingstop look very similar, if not identical. As such, in my experience, they are sometimes hard in texture and feel, with the meat dry and/or chewy to eat. But in the portions that are softer and moist, there is a density of taste. The wings are not meaty, but they are flavorful, because they are close to the bone. That is key. In summary, the Wingstop at Granada Hills, will now be my to go spot, if and when, I once again long, for wings.
