    Chicken Avocado Bowl
    Ian S.

Eh, this place is aight. If I was a gym bro, I'd come here every day. The menu is very basic. Protein, rice, vegetable. The chicken is decent but nothing above average. The order-taker was nice. The ambiance is pretty shabby. The interior remind me of a rundown gas station that hasn't been renovated since 2002. I'll come back here the next time I want a basic chicken and rice meal.

Extra charge for bad avocado. Meat taste off

Ordered a half and half bowl and plate. Extra charge for bad avocado. Taste of the chicken was off.

Beef & Chicken bowl. More like a carrot bowl. Absolutely Ridiculous !!

I can not believe that I paid over $20 for this and a drink! Burnt dry beef and half a bowl of carrots! It was ready in less than 2 minutes so thanks for the obviously precooked meat you left burning on the grill! Never Again!!

This is one of my favorite Flame Broiler's. Always greeted with a sincere welcome. Food is consistently good! It's plentiful and served hot. Portion size for a bowl is really good. The limited time Spicy Korean Chicken Bowl is . Great sauce with a nice little kick. It's my favorite! Deeeelicious!

I got a chicken bowl with avocado. The portion size was was small, could have been at least more rice. I have ate here before and they are consistent with small portions when compared to other flame broilers. The chicken was over cooked, had to spit out half of the chicken. Better off going to waba grill down the street, more for your money.

Pictured is a half & half bowl (half chicken / half beef) white rice and veggies. The bowl certainly provides a generous amount of meat. The veggies are crunch which I love because I can't stand soggy veggies. We got to try all 4 sauces since we bought 2 bowls...none of them are spicy. Maybe it's my tolerance for all things HOT? Idk. Check this place out for a quick delicious bowl.

The food is consistently so good, and honestly, we love everything on the menu. Yes, it can be a bit pricey, but sometimes you really do have to pay for quality -- and this place is 100% worth it. My family especially loves the kimchi here, but truly, you can't go wrong with anything you order. We come here for family time no matter the season -- when it's cold, when it's hot, anytime we want a good meal together. It's comfortable, reliable, and always hits the spot. If this place ever went out of business, I swear half of Chino Hills would shut down with it. That's how iconic it is.

I don't see her anymore. I can honestly say it is a complete 180 degrees! The service has been wonderful! This is our 3rd time since. Each time the food has been amazing and the service is consistently good to very good. The store is tucked away in a shopping center full of lil stores and restaurants. Parking is okay but there are some days you will need to drive around for a bit. Usually, there is at least a 30-45 minute wait to be seated, but we lucked out this chilly Monday night. Still crowded though! The restaurant is quaint. Nothing spectacular but clean. Seating is not too close to others. The service has been consistently good to very good. Friendly and quick. If you do need additional items, you will need to waive someone down. The food comes out hot and fresh! Seafood tofu: Sizzling hot. Great flavor. Nice amount of umami and spice. Filled with tofu. Wish there were a bit more seafood. At least clams. Galbi: Excellent balance of flavor! Not drenched in sauce and very tender. Would be great if the bed of onions were cooked a bit more! Great condiment with the rice. Japchae: Was a lil overcooked but tastes great. Wished there was more meat. Bibmibap is always a winner. Great texture and fresh tasting. Sauce has a perfect amount of kick and mixture of spice and sweet. Spicy cold noodle odke. Huge! Fresh veggies and the buckwheat noodles were cooked perfectly! Condiments and rice were spot on! So happy we came back.

Picked up a few items to go for lunch today and I was both surprised and disappointed at how bad the food was. The sullungtang was very greasy and the color was off, a dark brown. The beef was not trimmed properly, so half was just fat. To be frank, it was disgusting. There were bits and pieces of fat floating in the soup. The donkatsu went in the trash after a few bites. It was obviously reheated. The breading was more like that of a chicken tender and not that of donkatsu. The darkness of the outer cut portions (the pork) the katsu is obvious indication of reheating rather than fresh. I don't know if there is a new cook, new owner, or worst case they are serving subpar food from previous day. Maybe one or none of the above. This is one of the few times I've thrown away the majority of the food I purchased for take out from any restaurant. My background is in f&b and hospitality management so I would not give this type of review, especially to a small business unless there was a legitimate reason. While I respect the amount of work and dedication it takes to run a restaurant, there is a responsibility to provide customers with a quality product that aligns with the menu pricing. Beyond the product, ruining someone's lunch break is a sure fire way to lose an existing customer. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

Especially loved the beef brisket, beef belly, top blade steak, (356 steak- our favorite), LA galbi, 356 bulgogi, and the seasoned short rib cubes. Meats were juicy, tasty, tender and side banchan dishes were outstanding. Great spot, definitely recommend for Korean BBQ in area. So I wouldn't recommend this spot if the aim is to watch a game while eating. When we went, around 4pm on a weekday, it was pretty empty and started to fill after 5pm. I appreciate that we were greeted and seated right away with ice cold water. To order, you have a tablet at your table that can rotate left and right. You can put about 10 orders (including sides) which would then be brought to your table and the ordering is locked for 10 minutes so you want to choose your meats wisely but you can vocally request sides from your server, if needed. Cocktails and beers have to be ordered with your server. They advertise that every person at the table is charged, except for kids. I noticed there was an automatic gratuity fee for party's larger than 6. You can choose between the premium menu ($59) or regular ($42). I would say its a bit on the pricey side but the meat provided was high quality. We were pleasantly surprised by their la galbi and 356 steak. Overall, we enjoyed all the meats and sides. There could have been more of an effort to clean the grease from seats and the tablets, but its kbbq so residue can be hard to remove.

Tucked in a food court, there's plenty of seating and you order at the counter, and they bring out all of your food on a cart. We always get a medium beef tofu soup, galbi, and recently their bossam. The food is hearty and the soup is HOT, but it's pretty tasty. Galbi is a bit inconsistent, sometimes it's tender and has char marks, and other times it's chewy, but the flavor is nice. Their bossam is good, but comes out lukewarm and a bit underwhelming. Their salad though is super delicious, whatever vinagrette they use I wish I could have on hand all the time! Two tofu combos with their most expensive options rang out to around $75 with no drinks, which is definitely on the pricier side. We had leftovers, but this isn't a regular meal that you can go out for often. I'll continue to keep this spot close for when I'm craving tofu soup and purple rice nearby.

What stood out the most was the homemade taste. You could tell that they don't rely heavily on artificial seasonings. At many other Korean restaurants, the food can taste very strong and flavorful at first because of excessive seasoning, and you might end up drinking a lot of water.
