The lettuce had grey cracks from age, the tomato was unripe, the pita chips were stale. And the diced pepper had sticker on it (some of which I ate before I realized). See photo. From the outside, it doesn't look like much but when you walk inside, it's the cutest little place ever especially for being quick service. I like that their menu was simple and to the point. There's being cost conscious and there is being cheap and unserious about descent customer service. Here's a thought, instead of weighing the amount of greens you place in a bowl at the start of the salad build, how about weighing what the customer purchases at the end? The outside of the establishment may not be entirely appealing, but what awaits within is sure to warm your heart. Eating their food feels like an ode from the heart. It is reminiscent of pulling off to the side of the road to a Mariscos food truck in Tijuana. The food is comforting and reminds you of how Hispanic culture brings people together through food and music. All the staff here is very kind and have a lively spirit. Served very soon after I ordered. Great service. I would recommend getting here earlier in the day if you have more than 2 in your party.
