Note: do not go if you're in a super rush! It's is excellent if you want to hangout with friends to have brunch, drinks or whatever. The staff were all very kind and helpful! I had a great time, was well decorated. Got the flamingo frozen drink, the Parmesan chicken bites and their loaded fries. It was amazing

Mimosas

Flamingo a go go has a great deal on bottomless mimosas with the purchase of an entree for $21 during brunch. I tried prickly pear, orange juice, mango and strawberry. The staff was great. They checked on us often and kept the drinks flowing. There's outdoor seating as well but it was raining the day we visited.

Came for lunch on a weekday. It was one of those instances where you make a reservation then show up and the place is empty, so you don't even mention you had a reservation lol. I sat at the bar. There were a couple people sitting outside in the patio. I had the garlic parm chicken bites and garlic fries. I love salty fries and these fries were TOO salty for me. The chicken bites were great & a large portion. I also had the frozen flamingo - as a sober person, it made me happy seeing that they had a premade frozen drink that wasn't alcoholic. It tasted like fruit punch.

This place is so cute! I love the inside! They have a huge outdoor balcony where bands can come play as well. We ordered the pepperoni pizza or flatbread and it was okay. We had the "Blue Drank and some Froze's and those were all good! But mostly sugar so we had to get an extra shot of vodka to put on top and mix it in. Service was great. We sat right at the bar. She always checked in on us.

Blackened chicken with jambalaya

Fun lunch spot. We dined inside as it was a little breezy outside. I had the blackened chicken with jambalaya and I really enjoyed it. My husband and one other guest had the Taste of New Orleans, while our 4th dining companion had the shrimp po boy with garlic fries. It was all good. Our waitress was very friendly and provided great service. She was quick and efficient as was the wait to receive our food. I enjoyed the decor and would definitely return!

Love the atmosphere at this place! We came as a big group and they sat us outside in a shaded area. It was so nice! I got the eye-opener burger and it was delish! Loved the homemade sauce on the burger. Was it worth the $20? I don't think so. This place is pretty overpriced in my opinion, but that's the area! They do have some great weekly deals though! Loved my $3 Frose! Our service was ok, nothing to go crazy about! But overall I would come back! A great place for big groups to come or for celebrations.

So much variety of food and huge portions. There is a ton of outdoor and indoor seating, perfect for large groups. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Solid food and good place for a quick bite or come with friends.

Overall a pretty average experience. It took a bit for the server to get to us. They must be short staffed. We waited so long my wife and kids agreed... if no one acknowledged us after 15mins we would just walk out. Luckily 11min later. A server came to get our order. The food is really expensive. For grits and a chicken sandwich and 2 adult beverages. It cost $75! That's included tax, tip and $2 credit card surcharge. Food was decent. Nothing exceptional. Atmosphere was a a battle between a hip restaurant and a club. There was a Noel spirits promotion that day. So maybe it's not a fair shake at the true atmosphere here.

Are pets allowed for outside dining?

Yes! They have a doggie menu too!

Does anyone know if they have brunch on Fridays? And if bottomless mimosas are an option? Thanks!

Thursday-Sunday all day menu!!

Are there TVs outside to watch football?

There are TVs throughout flamingo a-go-go. The bar area has the most TVs, but you can also watch outside. Don't forget the $10 bottomless mimosa special for noon games!!

Picking up visitors from airport. Saturday, very late night, 11:30pm - Midnight'ish. They'll have a 10 & 13yr old with them. Will the kids be allowed to eat here at that time?

Yep!

Are there fans on the patio? Also can you make reservations to sit in the truck? Are there fans there?? :)

Yes yes and yes! Big AC units also!

I love everything about the drink menu! Does anyone know, if they have any food that can be made vegan so that I can drink to my heart's content in this super cool environs, but also be able to eat so that I don't have to leave?

We would be happy to make you something to fit your needs.

What's parking like in this area? Wondering how difficult it is to get to + get parked

There are 2 pay-lots on that corner. And lots of street parking.

Apps say starting @ $5, but what does that include? And what about the flocktails?

We have 11 different apps for Happy Hour, they range in price but start at only $5. We have several different "Flocktails" and they start at $5 also!

Swanky and fun. Located within the Roosevelt hotel, this cool bar has lots of rich history (that…read moreyou can read about while there). Whether sitting at the bar, or in one of the many lounge chairs on the opposite wall, every seat is an excellent. While I knew of the drink French 75, on the bar menu it was offered with either gin or cognac. I decided to try the cognac and so glad I did. Perfectly delicious! It turns out that drink is actually a French 125, so I learned something new that night. Great spot with a great vibe.

The Sazerac Bar at the The Roosevelt New Orleans prepares an outstanding Sazerac cocktail, as you…read morewould expect. While the Sazerac wasn't invented here, this is arguably its most iconic home, a place where New Orleans cocktail history comes to life. I would use this version as your gold standard when dining out in New Orleans and looking for a perfect Sazerac. We enjoyed watching bartender Rachel craft each drink. Rye whiskey, Peychaud's Bitters, and sugar are stirred in a small pitcher with ice. The serving glass is chilled, then emptied, and finished with an absinthe rinse along the rim. The cocktail is strained into the glass and topped with a lemon peel. The atmosphere makes the experience even better. The murals, the history, and the energy of the room give it a sense of occasion that you do not get at most bars. We had such a great time sitting at the bar that my wife and I each finished two and a half Sazeracs, which tells you everything you need to know.
